They scam 80 year old customers into doing coolant exchanges and brake flushes when all he went in for was an oil change.. he had no other work done and his coolant was just a little low. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with this location. For the past three months, I've been trying to get my tires rotated, and every time I go in, I'm told there's a three-hour wait or that I need to schedule days in advance. When I go to the Oswego location, they take me in right away. In fact, I've made several purchases there because they're always kind, accommodating, and willing to help on short notice. I purchased tires for both of my vehicles at the Yorkville location, but due to the repeated experience, I will no longer be purchasing anything from that store. My car's battery had died because the serpentine belt had become very loose. After my car was dropped off here by the tow truck, I was in the waiting area. The waiting area was very clean, has comfortable chairs, places to charge your phone, restrooms, etc. It's also next door to Culver's. I do have to take off a star because I had to keep going back and forth, asking about the status of my car. My car was already in the bay at this point and I've been waiting for an hour and half (my car and I arrived around 9:15 am). After they started paying more attention to my car, then I was updated on what was going on. The mechanic had to take off and rewrap the belt which took 20-30 mins. Total cost for very reasonable since they didn't have to order any parts and it was only labor. I would come back. read more

Gave Belle Tire in Yorkville as soon as they opened and have gone to them for basically everything that they can do for me since. I have used both chain shops and local, private-owned shops in the past but have received the best service and pricing from Belle Tire by far. They typically accept walk-ins at any point throughout the day and can tackle a range of issues from simple tasks like light bulbs/fuses; to oil changes; to any kind of tire/brakes maintenance; to mechanical/electrical issues; and many more. I purchased a full set of tires (4) from them at the beginning of June 2023 and purchased the tire insurance plan which I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for tires. They have plugged my tires multiple times no questions and even replaced one completely. When they replaced it they also rotated the tires for free at the time as per the insurance. I'm not even certain exactly how much money it has saved me and will continue to save me in the future. They also replaced my front passenger ball joint and alignment which caused the car to now run as if it's brand new again. That we obviously paid for and their pricing was comparable/less than many other shops in the area for the work that needed to be done on the ball joint. I will be having them do my oil change this coming week and my mother is going to have them replace the brakes on her Mercedes SL550 AMG (which demonstrates how much we trust and support this garage). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone as their prices are competitive, employees are friendly, don't try to upsell on everything, and are extremely knowledgeable and flexible. If you are having any issues with your vehicle and/or need some kind of maintenance done, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND BELLE TIRE (especially over any other mechanic shop in yorkcille that I have seen/been in/had work done on vehicles at). This shop and the workers go above and beyond to make sure eveyone is happy and seem to help people find the best (most affordable for what they want) option(s) for their vehicle(s). They don't require an arm or leg as payment and point out the differences between things or lack of difference for the best pricing for the consumer. My family are all starting to use Belle Tire, and I can see us sticking with the company so long as the essence of the company and pricing/policies don't get ridiculous. Not a good experience when I got my tires I felt pressured into an alignment and when they tried to do my alignment they couldn't because of some frozen eccentric. They didn't offer to discount my alignment which I paid for upfront. Tires are wearing well and I'm happy with those. read more

Stopped in at 8am on Monday December 4th, 2023 for a "A 1 2" service as per the maintenance minder on my 2018 Honda Accord. The Manager Cody Ecklund greeted me and got me set up with the routine 5 qt full synthetic oil change, filter replacement, inspection, and tire rotation. He was professional and said he'd get it in right away and should be done in about an hour. He called me at 9:13am and advised me it was done and ready to be picked up. When I returned he told me the air and cabin filter were inspected, but did not need to be replaced at this time. Service was quick, and the cost was less than the Honda dealership. A few weeks back I took my 2020 vehicle to have my A/C recharged since it was not blowing cold air. Made an appointment for the following day at 10am. Showed up at 9:30 and they started early. I told it would take about an hour. I also asked for the free tire rotation. They pulled it right in and started on it. After about an hour, I looked in the bay, and the "tech" (Awad) was still working on it. At 11:30, it was clear that the tech didn't know what he was doing. I went to Culvers for Lunch thinking when I come back it will be done. 12:15, No sign of being close to complete. 12:45, Awad makes the determination that the compressor clutch isnt working and needs to be replaced. I know a lot about working on cars but I know little about A/C. He said they tried 3 times? They gave me an estimate (pictured) of $1,200. I said the car came out of warranty in February. They recommended taking to the dealership. Now its 1:00pm. While paying, I asked about the rotation and they had forgot it. He said they will get on it right away. They pulled it back in where it sat for 15 minutes. I asked if they were doing to do this or not, he then got a kid (literally) and saying he was slow is an understatement. Now, 1:45, almost 4 hours into my 1 hour project, I can be set free. I took to my dealer, who I trust and have bought every car I ever purchased there. They called and said Belle had pulled out the A/C relay and the tech shouldnt have tried to recharge. They plugged in the relay, welllah! it worked. Now w/o coolant, since the Belle "couldn't fill", I had to pay for the recharge. At dealer pricing, $350, I should have gone their first. This actually cost me close to $650. Thank you Belle. Its ashamed, the front desk guys were nice guys just poorly run. read more
