The cutest shop in Encinitas! The staff is super nice and really helpful. I came in hoping to get a necklace to match another child of wild one I had received and they helped me pick out the perfect one. I have earrings, rings and necklaces from Child of Wild and I always get so many compliments on them. They're unique but still go with classic outfits for work/every day living. I first heard of Child Of Wild from a friend. She styles her apartment in the cutest new bohemian style and she told me to check out their Instagram for inspiration. I looked and loved the look of their jewelry and home decor set ups. They describe themselves as having a vintage eclectic vibe. I think a Coachella look best describes it. This store recently opened in Linda Vista right next to the Aerial Studio and is having their grand opening on Sunday November 5th. Parking can be tough immediately in front of the store but there's plenty in the surrounding areas! Super cute boutique to open up in the neighborhood! read more

I really wanted to love this brand but my experience was terrible. I bought a necklace that broke within two weeks of wearing it (despite following all care instructions given) . Things happen so I thought I would reach out to their customer service team about the issue and was turned off by the accusatory response I received. They offered to fix it if I sent it back...but only after going on and on about how it's "odd" the necklace broke and they've never ever had that happen before (doubt that but ok). So after reading this email that was essentially just implying that I was dishonest, I just decided to forget about it. It's not worth trying to engage with a company that has zero willingness for proper communication or customer service. I love this place, it really is so special. I know when you pull in, it doesn't seem much, however once you enter, it is stunning! The decor, and the beautiful jewelry, accessories, and the customer service is all so good, I can't explain enough how worth a visit here is! I picked up a beautiful 14k gold filled Italia chain and a stunning pair of Navajo designed turquoise studs, but learned that they sell "best sellers" in store, so if there was anything you were checking out online, you will need to order online... However, my experience with their online portion, including the customer service in that department was also amazing! I choose two more pieces I love on their website, and got it two days later! (I do live locally, so should mention that) but, I am just happy camper overall and the pieces I picked up are stunning! read more

Decided to check out Child of Wild because I had seen them on instagram. The jewelry came in and looked EXACTLY as the photos had depicted. It's not cheap, but so worth the money. I bought a chain from Child of Wild over a year ago and have never taken it off -- through weightlifting, running, showering, swimming, etc. It has never broken and the gold is still there (all their jewelry is gold filled, not plated). I used to wear necklaces from Baublebar but they never lasted longer than 3 months. In addition, Child of Wild has handled the very covid situation very well and has supported BLM with donations from their jewelry. read more

Drove all the way down from Carmel Valley to go to this store and we arrive at 4:55 (it closes at 5) and go into the store. It's completely empty and the lady is just sitting there, she then tells us to leave as they are shutting. Very disappointed in how unwilling she was to help us baring in mind we did still have 5 minutes and it was obvious how much effort we had made to get there before 5. They curate handmade pieces from all over the world that are truly authentic (the founder personally travels to countries all over the world to source pieces). I love supporting the local artisans, and also getting a beautiful piece of jewelry to rock.
