They use an ear-piercing gun and have a decent variety of studs to choose from. The stud metals include 14-karat white and yellow gold, surgical steel, and titanium. The procedure itself was very quick and, according to my child, was completely painless. The price for the piercing and earrings (a set) together was $125. No appointment was required, which made it very easy. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a local ear-piercing spot and you don't want to go to a tattoo shop or an adult piercing place that would likely charge you a lot more. I thought the price was very reasonable for services provided.

I love love love shopping on Cedros in Solana Beach. One of my favorite streets in all of San Diego! I was having a lovely lunch at Lofty Coffee this past Friday and noticed a sign next door at Parravi Jewelry that said October birthdays get 50% off an item! As an October birthday baby I absolutely was going to check the store out. My friend and I were greeted with a warm welcoming smile. I immediately gravitated to these lovely pair of butterfly earrings that were clearly meant for me. I love butterflies! They are my spirit animal/insect guide and even better is that they are purple! No one introduced themselves to me, and I had to approach the woman at the first desk on the right after walking in to have someone even look up at me. I understand that being a 25 year old man is probably not top priority in the jewelry world, but I felt uncomfortable from the beginning. I have some left over diamonds from one of my grandma's rings I used to make my fiance's engagement ring. I wanted to have the left over diamonds appraised. My grandmother's ring was appraised at over $15,000. The woman at this "fine" establishment offered me $180 for 4 diamonds. She explained that one had a crack in it, which is fine and I appreciated. But then acted like the rest were straight up trash and basically tossed them back at me. She acted like I had truly wasted her time. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely never return. Wish I could give 0 stars. Rude service, complete judgement from the beginning, and a total ripoff. Since this I have taken the diamonds to another jeweler and was offered $600. Bye Bell Roche
