I have come with my child over 4 times and each time it is over an hour and a half wait for what takes my toddler a 1 minute check up with a random dentist everytime. They do not have a consistent dentist there. It is a new person every time. No relationship or communication built with the language barrier the dentist can't hold a conversation. What took me over the edge to store this was the dishonesty from both the dr and staff. They would check in to say "no more than 10 minute wait" then 15 minutes passed and they said 10-20. Why lie? To charge my insurance for my minute appointment? No. Honestly run, there's a new office next to smart and final on Gonzales I reccomend you check out. read more

This place looks tiny from the outside. I love how they put their heart in decorating and making it a perfect place for kids. The office is upstairs and it's big! You walk in and immediately are greeted. I like when people have high energy, are professional, and kind. Yep, this place is just all that and more. They're really good at contacting you to schedule your appointments. If there book and you need an immediate appointment they are kind enough to put you on a wait list. I truly appreciate how kind and sweet Christina is! I know working with kids it can be a little tough. She explained everything thoroughly and was so sweet to my daughter. Christina gave my daughter the best toothbrush ever! It's been helping her with her teeth. The brand of the toothbrush is, "Firefly". Probably, the best toothbrush ever! You may want to inspect your kids toothbrush. I was buying the kid character ones at Target and noticed a huge difference with the head shape. The one's at Target have a wide head and very soft bristles this doesn't help our kids teeth. If anything it prevents them from brushing properly. Keep an eye out for that! Are used to go to Western dental for my kids dentist and found this alternative which turned out to be a really good option because they are super friendly attentive and I really feel like they know what they're talking about. Make an appointment was really easy and even scheduling an appointment for the follow up was super efficient. When my kids dentist came into the room she gave of a good vibe and was very engaging with the kids, and they have some things to keep them occupied while in the waiting area as well as when they are in the actual chair. Everyone on the staff that I interacted with seemed very nice and very professional it was a breath of fresh air compared to Western dental on saviors. I'm glad that we found this place and it's in a good location where it's not super traffic where are you can get in and get out almost effortlessly. If I can get 10 stars I would read more

An absolute disgusting experience. The lady with the neck tattoo at the front desk insisted we stayed for our appointment after waiting for nearly thirty minutes past our expected time or else she'd charge us for canceling. She was very rude. And when the time came to finally see the doctor for just five minutes, literally 5 MINUTES after all these harmful radioactive xrays on my son. I'm also quite concerned about how this office maintains its records of patients using Google Cloud. This places wreaks of carelessness for patients.....especially kids. Do not trust these crooks. Your kids and mine deserve better. The staff are rude and the service feels non existent. No wonder the dentists nearby did not recommend this place when I told them about our experience. Very disappointed with this practice!!! I took my son in to have a procedure done in which we were advised he would have to be placed under anesthesia. Once my son was placed under anesthesia I was THEN told that the whole plan was changing and he was then going to have 5 teeth extracted. NOT WHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED BEFORE HE WAS PUT UNDER! Mind you, there were multiple people holding my son down because he was already terrified. So I did not allow them to extract 5 teeth from my 3 year old. I have started taking my 4 year old son here. The first time the tried to lay him on the chair he panicked and refused to let anyone into his mouth, He was mainly scared of the tools. Jennifer had so much passion and patience with my son, she took the extra step to level with him and show him each tool that they would be using, Unfortunately we weren't able to get far that trip. I had taken him in for a 2nd time and thank God for Jennifer! She was amazing and he memorized her from before and he let her do just about everything she needed to do. Very impressed with this dentist office. The office is cute and kid friendly and the staff is just great. This office is not convenient for me but it's worth the trip. My son is extremely terrified of the dentist because of bad experiences at our previous dentists partially because of the dentist and how they go about their procedures and because he has had to have a lot of dental work early in his 4 year old life. I was pretty certain he would never let anyone go near his mouth again. Salvador was able to get my son comfortable enough to get a cleaning, he had a very calming energy that made my son comfortable and had some tricks up his sleeve that made it fun. **This review was based on 2 visits** I brought my 4 year old daughter for a consult of her broken molar and a cleaning. After the nice dental assistant cleaned and took x-rays of my daughter tooth the dentist came to speak to me. I don't remember his name but he was a young gentleman. He assured me that it would be an easy and fast fix with a crown (patient complying). He also said that if my daughter could handle it he would also do small fix on another tooth while she was the under nitro gas mask. We scheduled the procedure a week later. We came back for our scheduled appointment and my daughter did great! She wanted a lady dentist so I feared she would be scared once she saw the dentist was male but the dentist is so easy going and gentle that she amazingly handled her 2 procedures! I'm so glad we made the 30 minute drive, it was worth it. We will be back in June for a check up! read more

My daughter has not been to a dentist in over a year. She was complaning about pain. So my insurance company found this dentist. Called that morning and they got me in the same day. Everyone was beyond friendly. My daughter had to have a tooth pulled and a root canal. The staff and Dr. B were SO SO amazing!! Incompetent office staff. First they verified their dentist is in network, didn't tell me the dentist is leaving the practice nor that she is only there tues and wed, when I made an appointment for Monday, all during the same conversation with them. We show up, they said the visit would not be covered due to the dentist being out of network and they left me a voicemail. LIE... I had no voicemail from them, I even showed her my phone, I only had a text to confirm the appointment. Two staffers tried to tell me the same BS, and twice I showed them there was no voicemail. Would I like to reschedule for tues/wed..? Why would I want to see a provider that's leaving the practice and the replacement provider is not contracted, it's not like I could maintain their location as our provider. I pay for my insurance to use the benefits not pay out of pocket. Obviously their staffer handling outbound calls is not doing their job. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

The wait time was awful. The dentist was nice but the rest of the staff seemed flustered and cross with my daughter. Trying to get an appointment time is very far and few between. We waited months for my daughter's appointment to have a cavity filled. Then they called to reschedule on us multiple times. I called to confirm a reschedule but they don't check their messages or call back. I've had to call and chase them around to their different locations. After the last reschedule they wanted to reschedule my daughter out another month. That's not how you reschedule if it's your office that cancelled the appointment in the first place. I will never bring my children back to this place or recommend them to anyone. Find a different dentist if your child has anything more than a routine checkup. read more
