It was my child's first dental appointment…read more We were in n out in 20 minutes Seems short for a dental visit let alone a first one We felt very rushed Not informed My child is slow to warm up and they didn't give my child kid a chance to just relax even though I was trying to help him The doctor was very loud when she came in just a very loud animated voice And then the staff would just laugh as my child cried Kind of a weird child dentist really. They don't ask how they can help your child feel safe or calm at their first dentist they just assume the loudness and animation and screens will do the trick Overall not a very good experience Mind you other than the bit of crying my child did well, but I'll be looking for another dentist for my children. If they would slow down and treat each patient as an individual and actually get to know them especially a first visit maybe there is potential here but for a first time appointment being 20 minutes it was just too rushed.

I've worked with 2 doctors here and both were outstanding and consistent. I was asked multiple times throughout my visit if there was anything they could do to make my dental visit comfortable and if I had any concerns. I also recieved follow ups from the Dr for my pain levels. Their communication style and genuine curiosity in each patient's concern is what makes them a fantastic team. In addition to all those important things off is the actual clinic environment...it's like a spa type lobby, very clean and decorative, & has water/coffee at the front. I knew when talking to Gina at My Kids Dentist within 1 minute that she was one of the first people who actually understood what I was saying and immediately took action and spoke with my insurance directly and had us in the clinic being seen the very next day. We love this clinic and I can't imagine taking our kids anywhere else! First I called to see if they take my insurance. They said yes they take it so I took them to their first appointment. When I got there I had to ask again if they took my insurance and they said yes they do and proceeded with the appointment. It was my child's first dental exam and the nerves kicked in, but everything was amazing! Their staff is so polite. The dental hygienist was so friendly, explained everything to my child, and made cleaning and X-rays so easy. And the dentist, Dr. Ramirez, was so sweet and thorough. Their office is very clean. I was seen on time. And I felt like they really cared and know how to make the experience and environment great for nervous kiddos. At the end of the exam, they give stickers and a coin to put in a coin machine to get a toy, along with a new toothbrush kit. I highly recommend this office and will be back!
