There is a beautiful courtyard and other outside spaces to enjoy the trees and flowers. Sometimes we bring a picnic and sit at one of the tables outside on a sunny day. There are activities for residents who are more active. It's very clean and tastefully decorated. It's hard to grow old and infirm and dependent on others. With the guidance of her medical staff and the understanding & permission of the Director & Staff of Mill Landing, we moved her a few months later to the Assistant Living side. She has flourished and adjusted well to the Assistant Living Side. My Mom is not able to do all the activities because of speech limitations & understanding but is treated and helped with respect and love each day. My review is regarding the nursing home care where my sister is a resident. She has extremely limited mobility. It seems the more help she needs, the worse her care gets. She is told she does not try hard enough, that she should be able to do things which she physically cannot do. There are a few good aides, but more often than not she finds their attitude inappropriate. As is the case in many of these situations, if she complains she fears retribution from the staff. It is the direct care part of this place that is lacking compassion and concern for the residents.

I didnt want to do surgery and was afraid pt may not work. Not long after i could reach further and further without pain and discomfort. 5-6 months later I am almost back to my full range of motion and using my arm pretty comfortably and back to my routine. The staff here are miracle workers, Jeff brought me back to mobility, he made sure I dont give up and push myself, he helped me tremendously.
