Mrs Corie has been incredible and from day one my daughter gravitated towards her. We have had Mrs Summer and Mrs Maria for two years now and they couldn't be better. They have been much more than teachers to us. We have gone thru some difficult times and their exact words to me I'll never forget were "we are your family now ".. This isn't just my daughter's school, this is a part of her young life that has helped mold her into a confident, bright and happy child. It's a school full of warmth and so much love. It's such a bittersweet milestone because this place has been such an important part of her life and ours. I actually worked for Miss Jenn when I was in high school over 20 years ago. I knew firsthand that she runs a tight ship and truly cares about providing the best environment for the children in her care. So when I found out I was pregnant, there was never a question about where my baby would go. Over the years, the staff has become so much more than teachers, they've become family. They've celebrated milestones with us, comforted us through tough days, and loved my daughter as if she were one of their own. Knowing she was safe, happy, and genuinely cared for every single day gave me incredible peace of mind. One of the things I love most is how they encourage each child's unique interests. My daughter discovered her love of arts and crafts here( she's currently the captain for the arts and crafts center), and they have always embraced her creativity, giving her opportunities to learn, create, and express herself. Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy. The special events they put together have also created some of our favorite family memories. From the annual Trunk or Treat to the beautiful graduation ceremony, every event is planned with so much care and love. Those are moments I'll cherish forever. The curriculum they use there is amazing and my son is continually learning new skills. Every day my son comes home with stories of all the amazing things he learned that will definitely enable him to be prepared for kindergarten next year. The menu that Kids R Kids has is very diverse and caters to children's nutritional needs. Also, they provide different additional activities such as soccer and karate. Our family was a loyal La Petite customer for several years. We stayed as long as we did because of…read morethe convenience, but looking back, there were numerous concerns about the way the center was operated that ultimately led us to withdraw our child earlier than planned. One of the first issues involved diapers and wipes. When we enrolled, the advertising clearly stated that diapers and wipes were included at no additional cost. About a year later, I noticed an extra charge on our account with no prior notice. When I questioned it, I was told I was mistaken and that they had never offered diapers and wipes at no charge. Fortunately, I still have a copy of the original advertisement showing otherwise. While I eventually let the issue go, it left me feeling that transparency and accountability were lacking. Over the years, I also became concerned about the number of times I was called to pick up my child because they supposedly had a fever. On multiple occasions, my child did not have a fever by the time I arrived. I also noticed these calls often seemed to happen when the center appeared to be short-staffed. I cannot say for certain what was happening behind the scenes, but it gave me the impression that staffing issues may have been influencing decisions about sending children home. Whether that was the case or not, it significantly eroded my trust. There were several other situations that, in my opinion, reflected poor business practices and questionable ethics. As parents, we place an incredible amount of trust in the people caring for and teaching our children. I expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from a childcare provider, and over time I no longer felt confident that those values were being upheld. The biggest confirmation that we made the right decision came after we left. Our child is noticeably happier, more excited about going to school, and their overall attitude has improved dramatically. That change alone tells me we made the right choice for our family. Every family's experience may be different, but based on ours, I can no longer recommend La Petite. I hope they take steps to improve their communication, transparency, and overall business practices because families deserve to feel confident in the care their children receive.
