First it was totally lame.........but then it was GREAT! My husband and I walked in and were seated by the hostess in the back of the restaurant with our baby. Everyone ignored us. We couldn't get any of the wait staff's attention. Servers were just speedwalking by us, like we were invisible - we couldn't flag anyone down. We were about to walk out after a full 8-10 minutes of sitting there. Honestly, we wanted to walk out earlier, but it was the day after Christmas, it was late, and we were running out of options. Finally, I caught a server's attention and told him that we had been sitting there for about 10 minutes and no one greeted us or took a drink or appetizer order. We didn't have water or silverware. Nothing. That's when everything changed. The server felt horrible that no one helped us, and made it his mission to make sure that we were satisfied. He apologized several times. I know he was sincere. He had the kitchen create customized grilled veggie tacos for me that weren't on the menu. My husband had a veggie burger. Our server brought out some artichoke spinach dip that was sizzling hot in record time. He brought us each a glass of wine. He checked on us every few minutes to see how everything was. Everything was hot and delicious. My veggie tacos were sort of drippy, but SO SAVORY AND TASTY! By the end of the meal, the server gave us a discount as an apology for our frustration at the beginning of the meal. I like this place for several reasons. Food is good and reasonably priced. Quality and service is consistent. Management does a good job at overseeing operations and making their presence known. The couple of times that wait staff forgot orders or overcharged us, management was quick to catch and correct it. The Ribs and Buffalo wings are actually above average. The ribs have a nice bite to them and the wings are comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings and IMHO better than Wingstop. Beer selection kind of sucks though. They have a large menu. something for everyone. The kids love the enchilada soup, the wife loves the burgers, and I have tried a few of their entrees. I have never been dissapointed. It's pretty good for what it is...chili's. I usually have good service here. I always sit in the bar area so I can't really speak for the restaurant side. There is one bartender who is always full of energy and fun to be around but I can't remember his name. Since they put the tablets at the table with the option to pay with card, it seems as though service quality has been effected. In my opinion it seems like the servers might not be in a rush to get the bill taken care of because they assume you'll be paying card on the tablet. I had my Birthday dinner this past Friday with a group of 16 and Ramon our server was beyond awesome. I made the reservation the morning of and they had told me that we were only going to be able to split the checks into four and I said okay. I get there at 8:10 pm and it's only about 5/16 of us there and they let us keep our table even though most of my friends didn't get there until 8:45+ (love my friends to pieces but they're always fashionably late). There weren't any hiccups on our orders and drinks and Ramon was so attentive. At the end he even split our checks so it was SUPER easy to pay at the end instead of having to pay four big checks. This Chili's is 2 miles from where I live and every other time I've been there I've always had great service and the service and food is always good, including the drinks :) read more

Como here all the time for the 2 for $20 or 2 for $35 if I want dessert and couple of drinks. They are both good deals. As of 4/15/17 it is now 2 for $22. Not bad!! Presentation of the plates are different. I always get the honey chipotle crispers with loaded mash, and French fries and honey mustard for the dipping, must try!!. This time since they have a new flavor, Hot and spicy, I change the usual... delicious!!! Their Chicken crispers are hand battered and fresh!! They are more soft now! The waiter didn't get my order quite right so I would suggest having them repeat the order back to you just to make sure they get it just how you would like it. The food did take quite awhile to come out but was hot when it arrived at the table. The baby back ribs left much to be desired - they just don't fall off the bone or taste as flavorful as I had hoped - but the salmon was delicious - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor. If I didn't LOVE the food I would not go to this location again! I went yesterday at 3pm and the bartender was the only one serving that whole side. I had to get up after sitting there for 15 minutes and ask if they can help us and the bartender got upset. (there was no more than 7 people there.) A simple I'll be with you shortly would have been enough. We left to the other side without thinking about it twice and we had a better experience with our new Server. He was great! No matter when I come here it's always good service and great food the servers you want to ask for are John #1 me and my bf love him he's always on point about everything refills, checking on you and making sure all the food is good . For sure their portions are shrunk, I am not so fan of big american portions anyway but the other day I had chicken and steak fajitas and came up very very small. My friend ordered 6oz steak and some veggies. Steak was good but veggies are over steamed you can not even eat broccoli with fork. Only reason I am giving 3 stars because of the good servers. Unfortunately there is nothing they can do about the food portions so they do best they can to make customer happy. Over all the food we've hot it is not worth it to pay that much. Seating and Timing: Both pretty darn fast, considering the fact that both times I went it was around dinner time and crowded. Service: The first time the waiter was very helpful and on top of our orders and helped us choose what we wanted to eat. Second time very disappointed, her friend was sitting down at a booth and she was constantly going to her and squating down and talked with her for the majority of our time, even after we asked her for more food. Food: When it comes to pricing it's pretty decent, for 5 of us we only paid $35, but they will charge a heck of lot for beverages other then water. They informed us that they had a table ready for us but we were able to be seated in till half of our party was there.... As soon as everyone arrived we got our table . Tesla was our waitress and she was very sweet and efficient. But horrible horrible service waiting for our food. It literally took an hour to get food to our table. The Manager brought our table chips and salsa as a delay. Tesla came in to check with us and apologize several times for the food delay, we completely understand it was not her fault at all but the fact that we had to wait an hour for our food was just ridiculous. Not a huge big chain restaurant fan but we had been shopping and found ourselves hungry so we decided to give it a whirl. We were going to go to Portillos but decided we wanted a nice adult beverage to go with our meal. Haven't been to a chili's in...years? Not sure how long but quite some time I'm sure. Good news : happy hour all day on Sunday! Yeah! We probably looked like bumbling idiots to the hostess...and decided to head to the bar because I like sitting at the bar when I'm thirsty. The bar itself was no full, only 2 others sitting there, but the bar area tables were mostly full. The bartender looked a little flustered and clearly was sweaty from running around doing his job. No fault of his own, I'm a sweater so I know it's uncontrollable. He greeted us and we ordered our beers - he didn't ask big or small and just gave us big ones but it's cool, in all honestly I'd have ordered the big beer anyway. I also ordered a water. He delivered the ice cold beers and went to tend to another guest or duty without bringing my water. But a minute later he came back with it and took our order. We other got the $10 special- salad or chips and salsa, a burger and fries and a molten lava cake. Not a bad deal. And everything arrived timely, correct and tasty. I have noticed chain places (Polly's Pies, Marie Calendar's -yes I hang out with my grandma a lot) putting their "dinner salad" or "side salad" in an incredibly overstuffed tiny bowl. I guess to make it feel like you got more for your money, but all it does is make me angry that half salad has hit the table and is inedible when I just tried to stab my fork into it for one bite. Why, oh why do you hate me so!! I'd rather have a regular sized plate or bowl with a salad that looks small but I actually get to eat because it's not falling out of the bowl when I just breathe on it... The burger was good--must mention they make their own pickles or use some fancy "artisan" pickles because they're not regular old dill pickle chips for burgers. I mistakenly asked for extra pickles because that's how I roll and then I had to sheepishly take them.off and hide them...it's like they were a cross between a dill and a bread and butter pickle. Not cool my friends, not cool. Meanwhile I need a new beer, the bartender gets it to me promptly. Towards the end of the burger the bartender stops and takes a deep breath to shake it off, the bar should have two servers other than himself and one of the servers called out and another is not set to replace that server for another couple hours so he and the one bar server had been hustling and he was happy to get a moment, and that was all it was, a moment, to take a deep breath and regroup. Overall the foot was what I'd expect and service was a little better than expected even for a Sunday where they were short a server. I did see what I assumed to be the manager helping put by delivering food, refilling drinks, etc. She did a good job to help the bar area run smoothly from what I could tell. read more

We have frequented this Chilis many times before. The service is average, the food is good, but make sure you watch who is being seated. The hostesses are not the sharpest tools in the shed. For what they lack in mental capacity, they almost make up for with their sheer numbers. On this night, we had 4 hostestes in the front, they seemed to manage to lose track of the order of waiting guests. Seating new arrivals prior to the crowds waiting with buzzers. After talking with the hostestes, they offered only an "oops". The other affected groups and I were frustrated at this. We ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seated. I will now try the Buffalo wild wings in the parking lot as a replacement for this Chilis. read more

This score is based on today's visit only. All tables in the bar were dirty, we asked to have it cleaned and the hostess gladly did it for us with no hesitation. We waited for our server as he kept passing us back and forth (he seemed busy although there are only 4 other tables and 2 bartenders in our area). He finally said he'd be right with us but still took a few more minutes. Once he came over there was no smile, no welcome, and didn't tell us his name. As a server I know these are all important parts of a welcome to your table. After we orsered, still no smile or thank you, just walked off. Sorry to be such an inconvenience! It took a few minutes we got our waters and coke, although we were next to the bar and should have taken seconds. A few minutes later we got our chips and salsa which are always good. A few minutes later our salads. My dressing came on the side for the caesar although I didn't ask for that. Oh well. But it did have extra croutons like I'd asked for so thanks! Our burger bites came out with the exact modifications we had asked for which is greatly appreciated. Our server came by in a timely manner to ask if everything came out good. The food is always consistant. The lunch specials are good, and filling. The restaurant looks clean. In the end, our server (Rolando is what his towel said) stepped up his game and even gave me a soda to go.
