this food here is bomb!!! not always the service is good but i know the food is always going to hit!

Came here for breakfast today due to the high rating and the fact that they have biscuits and gravy which is one of my favorites. On the breakfast menu (check the photos), it says "served w/eggs, hashbrowns and toast." Brought my kid along who ordered the chicken fried steak. When the plates came out, they both had country potatoes which we were not expecting nor were we asked if they were wanted (they weren't). I very disappointedly asked them, "you don't have hashbrowns?" and the server said she would check asking if we wanted 1 or 2. I said 1 was fine. She brings out a plate of hash browns which were good but on the salty side due to the Lawry's season salt they put on it. Much better than the country potatoes. So we continue our breakfast, biscuits were OK, a little dry and hard. Sausage links and chicken fried steak were decent. Check comes and they charge me $5.99 for the hashbrowns. I tell the kid that I don't think I should be charged for the hashbrowns because I was expecting hashbrowns but they subbed country potatoes unilaterally. He goes back behind the counter for a few minutes and comes back asking why I was expecting hashbrowns. I told him the photos on the breakfast menu all had hashbrowns on them (I had forgotten that the menu also said hashbrowns included until I looked at the photo again just now). Kid says hashbrown was only included on the dishes shown (steak and eggs, ham and eggs, and the avocado and cheese omelet), clearly also forgetting that the menu said they were included. I'm like whatever dude and hand him my card and away he goes again behind the counter. He comes back and says "we took the hashbrowns off but just so you know for next time, the biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak come with country potatoes." Not gonna be a next time dude. Such a strange and awkward interaction especially considering it says hashbrowns included on the menu. At what establishment that serves both, do they not ask you which one you want? Maybe the hashbrowns are more expensive to serve ($5.99 is more than half of what the biscuits and gravy cost)? They also had a little note book at the front counter with a sign asking you to leave comments/feedback to them because they seemed to really want to hear what you have to say... unless it's that you want hashbrowns instead of country potatoes. Also, they don't have iced tea and charged me $1.99 credit card fee. There was a sign saying there's a charge but come on, that's 6.75%. read more

I like coming to this place for breakfast because everyone in my family can get what they like. They have pancakes and French toast for the kids, and great authentic Mexican options for the grown ups, like chilaquiles and menudo. They also have delicious aguas frescas. My favorite is the pineapple, it's frothy and delicious. The service is excellent, and I enjoy sitting in the covered outdoor patio area. read more

Was in the area due to having to take my car to a body shop after getting into an accident stopped here to use the bathroom they advised we needed to buy something so I ordered fries the lady seemed to have an attitude about just getting fries. Got the fries and they are unflavored and just bleeeeh would've thought they'd at least put salt on but some of the worst fries I've had ... I guess it was cause I ordered only fries ?? read more

This was our first time at Estradas, as we came in we got greeted by a nice lady and we were asked if our food was to go or dine in, we decided to dine in. I got the Chile Verde plate, it was spicy! But really good! My hubby got the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, he really liked it! With your order you also get chips and salsa which was really good too. They also have drinks like orchata, watermelon, pineapple and regular drinks. You might ask why then 4 stars? Food and sevice was good but we were not told that they charge a fee for credit cards even when I asked if they accepted them, the lady just said "yes we do" it would of bern nice if they would warned us about the fee. We found out when they ran the credit card and we saw a fee of $1.40 on the receipt we had to sign. Oh well... We do want to come back, the food was good but next time we will bring cash. read more

First time here and this is a hidden gem! I recently found this spot not too long ago cause I live near the area and it's been on my radar for quite some time and today I finally tried it! I got the Berry Lover's Waffle Combo as it was promoted and it was some of the best waffles I had in a while. The exterior was crunchy but not too much and the insides were soft. I got it with eggs and sausage and those were good too! The staff was really friendly too and made sure to come by every now and then to see if everything is okay! On a way to a family function, we stoped at EG for Breakfast, nice little restaurant with inside and out side patio dinning. Service is good as they come by and ask you if everything is ok more than once. The food was all amazing, Menudo was delicious great taste, veggie omelet was made to my standers I do add ons on my food, Almost always so I am pleased when they can accommodate me. The only reason for not giving this place a 5star rating was the side fruit had small discrepancy, the cantaloupe was past its prime. Other than that the rest of the fruit was superb. We are from out of town so, next time we come back to the are will be sure to stop by and try more of their menu. read more

This place is decent for what it is. Definitely tasty and worth the visit if you're craving that neighborhood grill type vibes. I ordered the Machaca breakfast burrito and it was delicious. Just the right balance between beans, eggs, and shredded beef. I thought the salsa complimented it pretty well. We also ordered the menudo because it was the weekend and they had a special. I would say that this place is one of the better spots for weekend menudo. The service is awesome. They treated us very well. Overall, I love that this is neighborhood spot and definitely hitting this place up more often. read more

Let me start off by saying I'm not from the area I made a 30 min drive! :) This is my 2nd time coming to estradas grill my 1st time I tried their chilaquiles red ones were delicious. Today I decided to try sopes they were yummy also had agua de piña DELICIOUS!!! I was unsure because some places add sugar and not this one was natural just right my fiancé ordered the flautas got a bite we're good too. He had agua de Sandía was very tasty mmm.. :) and the gentleman who took our order was super friendly customer service was on point ambiance was great too! Went for breakfast and got Chile Verde with eggs, and hash browns (instead of rice and beans). Place was pretty busy but service was nice and quick. The Chile Verde was super spicy! I would go back to try other stuff. It was busy with lots of families that seemed to know each other lol so little noisy but it was casual and chill. read more

This is always my last option place to eat because I live really close to here and it has ALWAYS disappointed me I've tried everything on the menu it's not considered a mexican food restaurant at all what so ever to me. Super white washed style of food seems like it's all canned sauce at this point gave it the benefit of the doubt today with these enchiladas has no flavor just like the rest of the food , even the sauces won't make it better I got a green one and smelled really bad and was watered down as well. Food was pretty good but the gave me double rice no beans. I don't like when people try to get away with things instead of being honest if they were out. I am a light skinned latina and my own people insult me by thinking I'm a gringa who won't say anything. Unfortunately this has happened a lot since I've moved here from LA county. I came here on a Saturday morning and it was really great! I never noticed it here before. I recommend the breakfast quesadilla. It was perfect. It doesn't seem too expensive from the menu, but it ended up totaling more than I thought. 11.99 for breakfast quesadilla, 5.49 for two pancakes, I didn't see how much my fountains drink was but for those three items it was $24 something. I feel she may have made a mistake. Unless the drink was $5. Next time I will just order the breakfast quesadilla or the breakfast burrito by itself. Not that the pancakes weren't good because they were but I wanted it to be in the $15 range total initially. But I still ordered the pancakes and drink so it's my fault. I need to find out how much fountain drinks are because the receipt didn't tell me. This is a family owned restaurant that has a little bit of everything. Mexican dishes, traditional American breakfast dishes. It has a good vibe . I should mention that the girl at the cashier brought my food to my table, brought me my drink, and made another trip to bring me ketchup which I thought was excellent customer service. Most of the restaurants that are similar to this do not do that. In fact all of them don't. A+++ on that. I like the feel of a classic style restaurant that still does things like that.
