Rock and Brews exceeded each category and came in clutch with some bonuses! First, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I had tacos, which were discounted for Taco Tuesday and allowed for a mix-and-match of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife had the Mediterranean salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a pretzel that was mega yummy. Second, beer! Lots of great choices, and if you prefer a mixed spirit, well, you're in luck, because they have plenty of those too. Third, vibes! Vibes like Cal Tjader came back to life. The place is decked out like your coolest friend won the lottery and created the perfect spot for all of his Rock & Roll lovin' homies to hang and chill. It is hard to pull off this level of focus without being a complete visual disaster or downright tawdry. Luckily for them, the designer understood the assignment. Well done, designer. You deserve a raise. Now, obviously, I'm a fan. One visit. That's all it took. But even after all of that goodness, there is one thing I must share, because it made a good experience a great one, and that thing is not even a thing; it was Matthew! The guy at the pool table next to us kept trying to talk to us, and every time my boyfriend went to the restroom he tried to chat with me. Awkwarddddd... He was even sad when we left... Sooooo weird. He even came over and asked if I was in the APA... apparently some pool group. He must be crazy cause I'm awful at pool. Even without the creeper, it got uncomfortable as more people showed up. I had my purse and jacket put down at a table and this group decided to sit down around it. I felt the need to move my belongings. And as people came in, it was hard to shoot without hitting someone. You basically have to compromise your shot or hit people, and I'm not trying to hit anyone. It's one thing if the other customers are annoying, but their staff was annoying too. With their staff coming to take orders from the tables, there was this one waitress that kept walking into my zone when I was trying to shoot. I'm not even a professional and I thought it was annoying. I can't imagine how the pros would feel. Note that our table was in a lower foot traffic area. They have several tvs. I think it is 2 pool tables and about 4 dartboards. Customer service was great. The bartenders were real cool. It was a woman and a younger guy working. They also have free popcorn at the bar. Met a couple people and had a great conversation with one of them. He was a local. Bought us a few drinks and the drinks were good. No complaints. I had a great night here.
