Broken Yolk Cafe is my favorite brunch place that has me thinking about it days and months after! Parking lot is packed when its busy. The wait is usually short if there is any at all even when busy. There is both booth and table seating available. The churro french toast is unlike anything else out of all the brunch places I've been to. It's the fluffiest and sweetest. The cream cheese icing is amazing with the cinnamon and sugar. The whip cream starts sliding off since the toast comes out hot, but it definitely pairs well with the icing, syrup, and french toast. The ranchero skillet comes with sauteed potatoes and egg on top. It was a good size for singular brunch or sharing! The french toast qualifies to be the best I've ever had. Went on Mother's Day, so it was a very busy day. Service was okay overall, but the servers took a long time to check on us throughout the meal. The food was okay, but definitely not what I expected for the price we paid. The Nutella crepes had almost no flavor -- there was only a small drizzle of Nutella on top and very little inside. The matcha latte was okay, but I've had much better elsewhere. The chilaquiles barely had any sauce, and the asada looked more like ground beef. Can't go wrong with a good brunch spot! They have a large variety of brunch options from eggs Benedict, classic breakfast, pancakes, to lunch options such as burgers, salads, and soups. They also have a wide drink offering from coffee selections, smoothies, to of course mimosa flights! I got the golden state Benedict which was my favorite combination of bacon, avocado, tomato, and poached egg. I did ask for the sriracha on the side so I can control how much I get in each bite & it was delicious! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, large clean open space with a modern feel to it. Our server was friendly and the service was fairly quick despite it being packed when I went. Came here on a Saturday morning at 11am. The parking lot is pretty tight and hard to find parking. We ended up parking elsewhere and walked. We were able to add ourselves on the Yelp Waitlist so that was helpful! Food and service were good. My server, Gabriel was very busy yet came right away, introduced himself and welcomed me. It's a nice place, clean and looking at the counter everyone had a smile while working together. Every bite was full of flavor thanks to the creamy and savory hollandaise sauce. All of the fresh ingredients matched well with the applewood-smoked bacon that was thick and juicy. The Sweet Trio lets you try a slice of each of their most popular toasts: Tiki Toast, Crunchy French Toast, and Cinna-Cake. All of these are very sweet, but also great brunch/dessert foods! My favorite was the Good Morning Burger, which came 1/2 lb beef, sunny side up eggs, bacon, cheese and more. The quality of the beef was absolutely incredible, and it paired very well with the bacon and eggs. It was as if breakfast and lunch had a perfect dab with each other. Overall this place is always good but not amazing. I've been a few times, their service is nice and the food comes out relatively quick. The food was a solid 8/10. I think next time I will go I will try something more sweet and maybe I will like that more. But would definitely recommend but maybe don't go on a weekend because I heard the waits times get really long. read more

The ranchero skillet was packed with fried potatoes, chorizo, and cheese. If you're into hearty, savory brunch, this one delivers. Met a friend from out of town brunch. This is my first time here. Very busy location since its across Knotts Berry Farm. I highly recommend to getting on the waitlist online especially on weekends. Service was a bit all over the place, it didn't bother us that much though. We understand its the holiday weekend. Food though was on point. The lattes and coffee are very strong. The Hawaiian Bread French Toast was a guilty pleasure and the Golden State Eggs Benedict was perfect. We've been here a few times. The parking lot is tiny so we go early (before 10am), otherwise we have to leave because there's no parking. Anyway, the place is spacious and food arrives quickly and servers are great. We last went close to Thanksgiving and they were all dressed in costume. I think it's fun! I like the savory dishes like omelets and the salmon toast was great. Ordered the steak cooked medium, but it was well done & I was on a time crunch--the eggs were good, the red & green salsa were great, however the potatoes were very bland. I ordered a biscuit with gravy on the side--the biscuit was dry, gravy lacked flavor. The woman who helped me was wonderful and attentive, unfortunately I did not get her name--the man that brought my meal to the table was very kind and helpful. Today was my first time visiting this place. There were a lot of people waiting outside, so I could tell they were very busy. When I walked in, one staff member was helping customers at the cashier, and another male employee was standing at the front desk. I stood directly in front of him, expecting to be greeted or to have my name added to the waiting list. However, there was no greeting or acknowledgment at all. He simply called the next party's name and continued chatting with what appeared to be his friends who had just arrived. I ended up standing there for quite a while, feeling confused about whether I was supposed to wait for someone to help me or write my name down myself somewhere. It was honestly a bit awkward. Eventually, another staff member who was passing by noticed that I had been standing there for a long time and kindly came over to help me put my name on the waiting list. After we were seated, the experience improved a lot. A server quickly brought us water and a high chair for my child, which I really appreciated. My husband and I ordered the Mom Omelet, along with a side order of pancakes for my kid, plus an iced latte and a hot cappuccino. The food quality was good, and the portions were very generous -- I couldn't even finish mine . Even though the servers inside were clearly very busy, everyone was nice and attentive. The environment was quiet, bright, and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to dine. Overall, it's a good restaurant, and I would come back again. The cinna-cake is a cinnamon roll pancake and it was the star of the show; it is the best sweet breakfast item I have ever had and that's not an exaggeration. Definitely try it if you come! My friend ordered one of their skillets and it looked plain but tasted great! All of the components really come together well. Its my first time to Broken Yolk, in Anaheim CA right In Front of Knotts Amusement park. My older daughter recently received free kids meal coupon for being a good student and at our first breakfast here. Food is great, ambience, vibe, the music, sanitation is clean, servers and staff are friendly and smiling , i came here enjoying the customer service more than food it self! We were going to have breakfast before spending our day at Knott's Berry Farm, which is right across the steet. We had a great experience. We were seated right away, no waiting for a table. The place was so clean and immaculate. We were served right away with our drink orders. The menu is also plentiful, with lots of options that will cover whatever it is you're looking for. Lorena, our server was great. Very nice and attentive and answered whatever questions we had. We are a big breakfast family, that's probably the only time we all go out to eat. Parking was bad ! I came early on a Sunday morning at 10am but I guess that's rush hour for brunch. I had to camp for a parking spot since the lot was all full. I heard we're able to park anywhere else next door or across, but not at the Chase parking lot to avoid getting towed. Make sure to be on the advance Yelp waitlist within 10 miles of arriving!
