I don't usually review chain restaurants, but this Chili's was exactly what we needed. Our van broke down during a cross-country trip, and we ended up stranded near a mechanic for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. The staff welcomed us in, kept us comfortable, and never made us feel like they were wondering if we planned to move in. Host was rude, had us standing waiting for 37 minutes just to seat be seated in bar area. Manager was aware that customer line was waiting out the door. Started turning people around at 850pm. I told the manager that I asked for a booth but they tried seating us at the smallest table in the building. So after waiting more than half-hour we left. I'm sure the food would have been great if we could have got treated like paying customers who value the establishment for its known service and food. But I guess at the calumet here on Terrence Ave they aren't interested in allowing people to get a good experience. The fact that this happened on Tuesday not the weekend is crazy. Last minute decision to hit happy hour here and it was great. We accidentally didn't follow the rules and just grabbed a booth in the bar area but the manager was so kind and gracious, Sheri and explained the rules and we apologized. She said that it's a future reference and we thanked her! Our waiter, was Jerihmi was so apologetic l, he was jammed but he was so great to us and we appreciated him too! We got the triple dipper (sw egg rolls, sliders and mozzarella) and a side of fries. Everything was delicious, standard greatness from Chili's. We had the seasonal margarita and it is strong! Today, May 8th a little after 12pm during the lunch hour my experience was not only a very disappointing experience but it was my third and final straw with this Chili's. The atmosphere is always humid. It's always warm and slightly sticky and frankly just sweaty inside. This time we were led to our table and as we approached not only were the seats dirty but the table in general was dirty. Instead of staying for what promised to possibly be yet another bad experience I was going to just leave however I instead decided to ask to speak with a manager. The server got the manager and then promptly decided to LIE (to his face and in front of ours) and say she told us the table needed to be cleaned prior to seating us and we followed her to the table without being prompted. Which was a surprise to both of us in our party as not only did she grab TWO menus BUT she led us to a table AND placed the menus ON the table as if we were in fact being seated. The manager she retrieved states that he is usually a weekend manager (I'm not sure why that would be relevant at lunch time on a Friday) and that he wanted to know what to do to rectify the situation. Our previous experience ended up with our meal being comped. Also, why would I stay after the hostess clearly just lied to her mangers face and ours about her actions. I didn't want a comp meal I want the actions of poor service to be corrected. Third time was the charm and after this I will not be back to this location. I love Chili's but this one needs ample work in the customer service arena. Fix the temperature and the integrity of your employees when you get a chance. read more

This locations service is terrible. Our waitress spent more time chit chatting with served tables rather than waiting on tables that needed servicing. Never once came back to check on us as I wanted more water. We have now finished and have been waiting for our check. We wont be back. Very unprofessional. read more

The food here is amazing. I have been to a couple of Chili's and none of them had the food so delicious as this one. I want to give a huge shout out to Jade our server. She was an amazing waitress. She was polite and helpful. She knew her job and she was good at it. I watched her run around waiting on her customers and still come and check on us. She was also very fast as well. She deserves big tips for what she does. The setting in the restaurant was very quiet and peaceful. Gail and I really enjoyed our visit here. I will definitely be back. Cal. City's Chilis food and service was exceptional. The manager was cheerful and her staff was knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful no attitudes. The ambiance was nice and the music was great. If you like sports this is the place to go for a good meal, great cocktails and great service. I arrived at the last minute (3-12) for a birthday snak and was greeted with smiles and suggestions on what to order by Ms Alex. It was assuring to finally feel that customer service was still alive. She was wonderful right down to my dessert. No rushing the customer her conversation was assuring. I most definitely will be returning to her establishment. This Chili's has done everything wrong tonight. My mother's burger wasn't fully cooked, her drink didn't come with or before her meal. My daughter's burger didn't come with cheese on it and it took them over an hour to bring her another one. My food arrived at our table cold and I had to ask them to remake the order. I never received a refill on water and it took about an hour and a half to receive napkins. I spoke with a manager prior to sending my food back and nothing was done. I spoke to a second manager and my mother finally received her drink and I received my second water but my daughter's burger never arrived. read more

1/15/2023 it's been a long time since I have been at this location. This night was a fail in all areas. Walked in and was sat at table right away. Table was dirty and asked to have cleaned. While walking to table walked passed many tables needing to be bussed and cleaned, floor was very dirty with many straw wrappers, napkins, paper towel and food. Server was pleasant but forgot chips and salsa and by the time it came our meal was arriving. Food took long time to make but was ok to eat. I had to wait a long time to get my food, which was cold, except for the French fries. They forgot the molten cake I ordered, more than 20 minutes, so I got up and left. I had to eat the fries, because all of my food was cold. I felt hurt, like I received below average service. I do not plan on visiting this location again. How is this place still open? The staff here are so unprofessional. They do not care about the guests or the quality of food/drinks. The minute you walk in you're greeted with attitude like we're bothering them by coming in to eat. Then you sit down and wait for 15 min before a server comes over.
