This was my first Iowa Chili's experience and it went pretty well! Downsides; roof construction was going on and it was LOUD, some of the food came out cold. Upsides; such a fun atmosphere and great menu options. Our waiter Connor was amazing and gave us some recommendations which we appreciated. He was also very attentive making sure to stop by and see how we were doing multiple times. We also stayed seated and chatted for a while after paying and he didn't push us to leave which was great - 5 stars for Connor! The lemonade was not the best, I would not get that again. We got the 3 choice appetizer and it was really great! The sliders came out cold but everything else was hot and really tasty. We also got the quesadilla salad, which was amazing because we were deciding between a salad and a quesadilla, and then we didn't have to choose!!!! Large portions, ended up taking leftovers home. The nachos were pretty good overall, but I was expecting more heat since the menu hyped up a new southwest sauce. My sister liked her Triple Dipper but felt it could've been a bit better. We opted to dine at Chili's as we had received a gift card. We walked in we seated promptly. As we were perusing the menu, the waitress came by introduced herself, and answered any questions. Her name was Brooke, she was amazing. Answered every question, recognized the kitchen error immediately, and apologized profusely. Overall -everything was great. The food was piping hot! I had a good experience and Chili's and wouldn't mind coming back again. Minimal wait time, especially considering it was a busy day during the lunch rush. The server came by right away and was upbeat. We ordered our drinks and appetizer and they were at our table in no time. We each got the 3 for Me deal and it was more than enough food! I like the options available (some will cost more if you want them, and it is shown on the menu). The chips and salsa was really good and my entree (burger) was fine. The service was excellent. Appetizers and drinks were taken promptly and delivered promptly. Orders were then taken. Food delivery was well timed given that we had appetizers. All orders were correct and the food was excellent. I really like having the table top kiosk where we can pay our bill. Really annoys me when you have to wait and wait to pay the bill. read more

The server was personable and attended to us regularly. Most other aspects of the visit were negative. The menu has items listed that aren't available at certain times, or are completely unavailable. The Modelo I requested is no longer being served, despite being on the printed menu, and the entree I wanted (bottomless soup, chips, and salad) is not available past 8 PM. Had I not had company at dinner, I would have paid for my Coors Light and left. As it was, I ordered the overpriced chicken tenders with corn-on-the-cob and fries. The corn was good; the fries were underseasoned. I'm pretty sure my metal ramekin was not cleaned properly, there was some kind of orange streak in the ranch. Stopped here for dinner on Monday night 4/3/23. We were greeted at the door fairly quickly & seated. Our server was very friendly & helpful. She answered questions about the food very thoroughly. She took our drink order & even made one of the mixed drinks because there was no bartender on duty. She knocked it out of the park for no bartender experience. Our food didn't take long to come out & it was hot,fresh & delicious. What we had ordered was just the right portion. We left full but not miserable and not still hungry. The place was kind of quiet, but it was a Monday night and the Men's Championship Game was on that night. They had that game on the many TVs along with a great selections of baseball games on them. My only beef was I was a little shocked by the total of our bill. It was a little higher than I expected, but that's the times we're living in now days & I'm willing to pay a little bit more for good food. I had the mushroom Swiss burger, fry's & a beer. Today my group of friends and I ate at this restaurant. We were greeted at the door right away and seated promptly. We all ordered the triple dipper and diet cokes. The wait for the food was pretty average however when the food arrived the runner stated "you all are the chef's least favorite right now!" My group and I did not know what to respond and the runner just kept handing out meals. She also did not hand out our food and rather had us grab them as she held them up. It is okay for a chain restaurant (which I usually avoid). This particular location seems to lack energy and just seems tired. Little things make the difference in service. I dislike being pushed to use the little electronic device on the table. If I am tipping you, I want service, not a card reader. The ladies room needs a good update. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We sat for 15 minutes before our server came up to us to take our order and it took 40 minutes of sitting there until we finally got waters (after asking multiple times). We ordered chips and salsa and were charged for them but never got them until after we paid and were getting up to leave over an hour later. I asked for no bacon, onions, or ranch on my burger and it came with all of those, so I asked for them to remake it and they just switched the buns and brought the same one out, which bacon pieces still on it, and I cannot eat pork. All of the sauces brought with my meal were also wrong. My partner and I ordered the exact same side of Mac n cheese and they came out looking completely different, with a different coloring and size. In the 1.5 (ish) hours we were there, our server approached us only three times. We also had a gift card to use, and our server told us it wasn't working at all and we had to pay using card, even though the gift card was brand new & activated. Chili's menu has a variety of dishes while the name may make you think they serve mostly "Mexican" dishes. I often have the country fried steak. Don't forget the wonderful chocolate cake! Hear me out... I used to go to Chili's all the time with my family when I was younger and the food was nothing special to me back then. However, I saw their commercial of their deals and thought why not try their food again. HOLY SMOKES. EVERYONE needs to go to Chili's right now because you're missing out on a real gem. Their food was killer and very fulfilling. We had the best waiter (Troy) who scored us free chips and salsa by putting in an email for their rewards program. The salsa had a perfect kick of heat. I've been looking for a salsa that's spicy, flavorful, but not overbearing and Chili's has it. Their lunch fajita was so tender that I'd choose Chili's over some of the local Mexican restaurants in town. The fries were crispy and my California Turkey Club sandwich was SO amazing. I would just want the bacon strips to be a tad crispier. And to all my soup lovers out there this winter... try the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. It'll warm your soul and remind you of how you were so wrong thinking that Chili's was just another Applebees. Great food, great prices, and great service. read more

Small basket of chips with cheese sauce. The sauce had a thick crusty layer on top and tasted old. My daughter got sliders. Ordered with only cheese and mayo with fries. They came without the mayo and no fries. We asked the waitress about the fries twice before getting them after we were done eating. I asked for Worcestershire sauce. 10 minutes later I asked her again about the sauce. She was quick to tell me they don't have that I could see a bottle of it at the station we were sitting next to and told her about it. She got it for me and just smiled. Luckily my granddaughter noticed the bottle was expired by over two years. Sept 2016. The dining room was so cold I had to put my coat back on and quickly noticed everyone else doing the same thing.
