Half the time the food is decent. The other half of the time you find RAW green onions heavily mixed into your baked potato soup and loaded mashed potatoes, instead of cooked ones inside and just a few raw ones on top for decoration. Yesterday's carryout was a strange experience. You can order with the ap and choose carryout at check out. Then, when you get to the store, there's a sign blocking carryout, stating every order is curbside again. For the last two weeks, carryout was just fine and the dining room is open. Now some ManagerOnDuty decides to revert back to the shut down method? When you call to let them know that you are there, you get a gal with a snotty attitude on the phone. When she bickers with you about where you're parked and you say handicapped space (I'm eligible) she still wants to know the space number. Horrible Managemen!!! I door dashed an order for a grilled chicken Salad with extra ranch and no black bean corn salsa on top then I ordered a chicken and bacon quesadilla with a side of ranch!! They never sent ANY... Salad Dressing, the lettuce was old and slimey, and then no bacon in my sons quesadilla and no Ranch!!! I payed my door dasher to go pick up salad dressing and they gave her a hard time when they screwed up 2 orders and forgot the ranch for both items and BLAMED IT ON DOIRDASH!!!! I called and spoke with a Female older Manager and she blamed DoorDash and then blamed me when I order quite frequently from DoorDash and Chillis and .... NEVER HAD This Problem till now!!! We go to Chili's occasionally, and good food and good service are the norm in our experiences. On rare occasions...there were short comings, though we never had anything deserving only one-star that others have assigned. Today, for example-- we both had the ancho-salmon with rice and steamed broccoli-- nothing fancy, but excellent! Portions were more than adequate-- just like the picture on the menu. From past experience, I opted for the green-lemon sauce to be "on the side" rather than on top of the salmon. I prefer salmon without that topping. Five stars so far. Our wait-person was "Kennedey"-- attentive, friendly-- she deserves five-stars for excellent service. So five-stars it is. Though I wish they still had the traditional onion-cheese enchiladas with red or green sauce. I miss them! read more

Understaffed and there were only about a dozen tables seated. Told that there was a 20 minute wait.. or we could sit at the bar.. which was a bit to crowded for us. While they were understaffed.. there were two hosts.. hanging all over the podium, talking and joking.. what ever. Perhaps one was in training?? After 20 Min we were shown to a table.... and asked if we were "members" of the Chillis club.. and if we were we got free chips and salsa. (that used to be FREE, without giving up your info) We declined. Were given a drink/cocktail menu with no prices.. and after looking at it.. realized that you had to scan the menu with your phone to get the menu.. no hold in your hand menus here anymore. The phone menus.. very few pictures and so so descriptions of the food. After a few minutes of no one showing up.. we left. The two "hosts" were yucking it up at the podium.. and didn't care that we were leaving. Us OLDER folk like a real menu... and perhaps some chips and salsa. We do not like staring at a phone to see tiny words ... We are the ones that leave good tips... and order decent sized meals without concern for the cost... The East Franklin, WI Chilis is a hot mess! I have witnessed the quality of their store going downhill for the last year. Understaffing is usually a direct reflection of the management. I ordered online today at Chilis.com. Went to the store to pick up curbside and discovered they were closed. Not a soul in the store. Only signs stating the dining in was closed. No mention of store being closed. Money taken out of my account. At 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday night. For God's sake turn off your online ordering feature if you are closed because you are understaffed. Customers have no idea you are closed unless you turn it off. Luckily I have more money to order somewhere else and bet your bottom dollar I will get a refund later. But had I been a struggling family hoping to feed my family with the last money we had, I would have been screwed. Over $36 dollars taken out of my account. I will never give a tip again before food in hand either. I even left a $6 tip for food I will never get. This Chilis has ruined me from ever eating at a Chilis again. This Chili's has an entirely new staff every time we visit. It's Covid. We get it. But wow - where do they find these managers?! We had to walk out, super frustrated because guests came in behind us. The host was literally cleaning the table he planned to seat us at - but The manager shows up and insists we provide a phone number, and that we were to go wait in our car until called in 10-15 minutes. I don't know if I just had bad luck on my last 2 visits or their service has really gone down hill. I hope its the former. I have been going to this chili's for years and normally the service is very good. We went there last week, we had to wait a little bit for the waitress but nothing too bad, I ordered a beer and my wife a soda and the appetizer right away. She brought my wife's soda after about 4 or 5 minutes and said my beer was coming. The appetizer was brought out by another waitress , but no beer. It took a full 10 minutes after my wife got her soda to get my beer, they weren't even busy. Our food order eventually came I had ordered the new Shrimp enchiladas and my wife some tacos. Well, the brought me Chicken enchiladas. Right away the waitress said she was sure she put it in right and right away blamed the back. She came back a few minutes later and asked if I wanted the shrimp ones, this time not explained who's fault it was. If I had to guess it was probably hers. She did offer me a cup of soup or salad free of charge while I waited. I took the chicken tortilla soup which is always good. Finally my shrimp enchiladas came when my wife was just about finished with her meal, but they were really good. Shortly into eating them I finished my beer. She did notice but instead of asking me if i wanted another beer, all she asked if I wanted was water. I would have ordered another beer but after all the hassle I had on this visit I didn't bother, since she didn't ask. She brought me a survey to fill out about them because its a new item. I go to fill it out and its already filled out. She had to bring me another. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong. On my previous visit about 10 days prior I ordered a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup and because the waiter was too busy talking to friends, he didn't even notice they were out of it and had to make more. I don't know how your are out of the soup at just about 5pm and It's Really annoying when the waiter is yapping away at the table right behind you for minutes on end about his personal life. He came back 10 to 15 minutes later to ask if I even wanted it. . Which I did so I had to wait till after my meal came to get it. I had the worst experience today, it was very embarrassing. I decided to take my supervisor out to eat with her son. We ordered mac and cheese for her son, she ordered a bowl of some sort and a medium cooked steak dinner for myself. They told us they were all out of Mac and cheese and he had to get a quesadilla. That was fine. Then an half hour later they told me they didn't have the side for my steak and I has to choose another one. Chosee one done. By now we've been waiting for over an hour and they bring my steak and it was well done. We didn't have time to wait for another one so I chose to just pass on dinner. Chili's online ordering is usually fantastic! I order it about once a month during the week. The fajitas with chips, salsa and guacamole is quite a spread. The chips have to be the best in the world as is the homemade salsa. The food reminds me of the great state of Texas. I put in an online order on a Friday night. They have parking spots designated for online orders and the dine in patrons were obviously parked there. That was kind of annoying. Upon stepping up to the pickup counter, the person could not find my order. I had waited to come precisely at the pickup time quoted on the website and the order hadn't been started yet. They said it would be 10 minutes. But 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes. Two managers were very attentive and they apologized throughout the grueling wait and I actually felt well compensated for the inconvenience. I love the fact that the managers had a good sense of what was not working well and they proactively responded. Maybe it was just because I was a nice guy and didn't flip out. Or maybe I just looked hungry and they felt sorry for me. But when things don't go well and a restaurant can turn things around and make a bad experience not so bad, they have my respect and my future business! read more

Want to see how to absolutely wreck a piece of salmon? Visit this Chili's. The picture on the menu looks great. When I got my food it was nothing like the photo. You wreck the salmon by putting barbeque sauce on it. I scraped it off but the flavor of the barbeque sauce had already ruined the fish. Fewer vegetables and rice than the photo. The vegetables (broccoli) were steamed well and were the only good thing about the meal. I visited there for dinner last week. The place felt dark and depressing. I've been to lots of bars with and without grills (after all this is Milwaukee where bars are plentiful). Many are dark but I never visited one that also felt greasy like this one. I will not go back. I don't eat red meat very often so I am always interested in how well a restaurant prepares their other offerings. They probably do a lot better with staples like burgers and fries. The people there seemed to be enjoying themselves. The salmon should be removed from the menu. What I got was probably microwaved as it was rubbery. read more

Refills are sloooowww, it wasn't just our table, the table for two across from me I watched her steal her dates drink while he got up so she could get a sip. You would think you could clear the plates and empty drink glasses when you finally do come back to the table....even the manager walked by looked at the table in disgust but didn't bother to stop and say anything. Clearly she looked at the table and did a double take. Maybe you should have stopped and either grabbed some dishes or said I'll get someone over right away to clear this and get you some refills?? We came to Chili's because we both like the 2 for 20 deal. We sat down and waited 15 minutes before Ashely, our server, noticed us sitting there looking around. We weren't in her section, but she took care of us right away. Our appetizer was really good! We got our food and my potatoes were cold and my partners pasta was also cold. We brought it to Ashley's attention and she right away grabbed her manager, Brian. He came out and greeted us, and was very nice and calm about the situation. He remade the food we ordered, and quickly; he also threw in dessert on the house. We are very pleased with the service we received and highly recommend this Chili's location! read more

I really don't even want to give it 1 star. Went there last Sunday for lunch with my kids and after we get our food I happen to notice crawling on the wall next to my son was a ROACH! I alerted a worker there and he went to get the manager. The manager then comes over to us and asked what is that and I told him it's a roach and he stated "oh no it's not a roach it's something else." Then picks it up and walks away. He then comes back to tell me that he has called his pest control company about it. I can't believe he even tried to down play it! Well.....Not even a few minutes later I'm fixing another fajita and as I was putting the onions on my tortilla I noticed a HAIR. Now mind you I had to dig under the meat and peppers to get to the onions. I alerted our waitress and she went to get the manager. He came out asking me if I wanted a new meal.
