Ok I'm a fan of Texas Roadhouse because the food is consist for a chain and the value vs taste vs pricy of other bbq joints it's a good fast food deal. It's not award winning bbq but it's ribs are smokey/tender fall off bone moist and no sauce for me because I like the plain Jain flavor. The 6 hot warm fresh rolls are over abundant for a 1/2 slab of ribs with cinnamon butter. The chili with cheese and onion is ground beef instead of steak in the past but tasty. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy is average but good. Overall for $17.99 before tax it's a tasty comfort bbq meal at a decent price point for fresh fast food. read more

Checked out Texas Roadhouse with a friend for his birthday. Texas Roadhouse is a great place to go for good steaks and drinks. You can carry a conversation at your table without having to shout. There is a lot of seating, and you're not too close to others when seated. We (3) ordered ribeyes 2 with just mushrooms while mine was with mushrooms and onion. I also got ribs. Everything was delicious. Each entree included 2 sides. Sides ordered were Salads, Green Beans, Baked Potato, buttered corn and seasoned rice. The buttered corn and season rice was just wonderful. If you're looking for a nice steak dinner on a budget, Texas Roadhouse is the place to go. We were greeted nicely by everyone at the host stand, and the bartender. Only our second time dining in person (we normally order to go) we decided to try the New Berlin location due to last year having such issues at the Waukesha location. To start with we used the waitlist feature on the app, very easy to use! There really wasn't a wait for the time we were going however we still used it and signed up when we were about 5 minutes away! We were quickly seated with a basket of fresh rolls! Our server was great all evening (Kaylanee) all the food was really good and we appreciated that was actually decent timing between the appetizer, salads/soup and then main dish. Which I feel is fully credit to the server and how they enter your order in the system! My visit in restaurant on Monday the week of 10/20 was fantastic. It was my first ever visit there and I was in for the week for work. They welcomed me in and made me feel like I was part of the family! Service was decent, refills were difficult to obtain but not horrible. The food was delicious! I enjoyed every bite! I got steak tips with a baked potato, corn, and applesauce. Basic but tasty. Peach sweet tea for my beverage. The second time was Thursday of the same week and I ordered take out. My food was missing items, they were out of tea and rolls and I paid for extra butter which they didn't include either. The appitizer was hard and far from fresh. The meal was a huge disappointment. Great food, great service at this Texas Roadhouse location. I've dined here twice in the past couple months. The hot rolls and cinnamon butter are delicious to start. Each meal, the steaks have been prepared to perfection and seasoned well. We went with the combo platters because the fall-off-the-bone ribs are not to be ignored! The BBQ chicken served in the combo is very tender and juicy. I enjoy a good Caesar salad, and it comes out crisp, cold, with the perfect amount of dressing. I would have liked to have had the potato served on the side, as it didn't fit on the plate well, and my ribs were hanging off the side. The restaurant was full during both visits, yet we could still talk as the noise level was too loud. The server was efficient, and the manager also checked in on us. My wife, pregnant daughter and I planned on having dinner at that location and we disagreed with Texas Roadhouse changing the terms and conditions "at will" with a coupon we received. I asked to speak to a manager, and a manger named Tiffany arrived. I asked her to provide a contact number for the corporate office. Her exact response to my request was, "do I need to google that for you?" As a customer facing manager, Tiffany either assumes that I am not of economic status to afford internet connection, or she assumes that I am not intelligent enough to search the internet to find the Texas Roadhouse contacts. Although I am not an expert in hospitality management, I believe that a more appropriate answer would have been to issue the corporate contact, or even to provide the general mangers contact. Yeehaw! I haven't been to TR in a VERY long time and this was my husband's first visit. We visited on a busy Friday night. We were impressed by how friendly all of the employees were and they were hustling! Our orders were taken and we received our drinks and rolls right away. The restaurant was clean and everyone was working together like a well-oiled machine. We enjoyed people watching while waiting for our food. Some groups were celebrating birthdays. We received our food and everything was yummy! The food was salty but I like salt, so it's not an issue for me. We had steaks, shrimp, salads, green beans and a baked potato. I registered on the application online for 6 people and a highchair on the wait-list. It a was a 44-50 minute wait. I waited and then checked in when the whole party had arrived. I waited an additional 10-15 minutes to be seated. I had 4 adults and two children 5 and 10. Also a 6 month old baby. They sat us at a table that was not able to sit 6 people and highchair. I asked the waiter since we were not seated comfortably or even fit at the table if they could pull the table next to us to fit us. When that pair was done eating. The waited said he would ask. Then other people left that seated table and it was getting cleaned. And before they sat another table there. I informed them again that we had requested the additional space since we did not fit at the table. The waiter then said he asked the manager. The manager said no. Without even coming to see how uncomfortable and limited space there was to eat. I then requested before they sat another group to ask the manager to come to our table. They continue to bring a group of three people to be seated in six person table. It was two small tables put together. When a booth straight across from where we were was about to be open. Mind you that they had sat two adults and highchair at a 6 person table that they had sat down right before us. And they were saying they couldn't accommodate my family. At this point the manager came. I asked her if how we were seated looked comfortable or even reasonable that we are crammed in this booth. She asked me how did request the seating on the wait-list. I told her I requested 6 people seated and a baby in a highchair. Also they did not give me highchair because obviously it didn't fit in the cramped corner seating area they place us in. My baby is 6 months old and they gave me boosters seat. She is not capable of seating in that. We needed the high chair so that we could position her car seat in. There was not even room to get the table or even fit the car seat in booth. The manager agreed that the table did not seat us comfortable but began to blame us for not correctly registering on the wait list. She said that they assumed that my group was five and highchair. I then asked her were on your application does it stated that you assumed the high chair is part of 6 people. She said it doesn't say that they just assumed. Then I proceeded to ask. If that was case. When I checked in with my group and they noticed I had 6 people and a baby. Why was this not addressed then. So they would seat us appropriately. She said had no answer. Just to tell me that my family would have to get up and go back and wait again for seating to open up. We were already seated and drinks and appetizers ordered. She expected us to get back up and wait again. When there was a side table they could pull right next to us to accommodate my group. Since they didn't even clean up yet or seat the table. It was not a unreasonable request. As we were talking her, her staff cleaned the table and sat a family of three there. She was even telling her staff why they sat them there. She was unwilling to accommodate us. Then a bigger table open up. And she ask if we would like to move. So I had to get my family of 6 and 6 month old baby up and move across the dinner room. Even though we were already seated and there was an additional table they could of just moved over to make the seating area comfortable and reasonable. I am beyond disappointed and upset. In the treatment and customer service I received from both the waiters, the manager on shift. Even though every one could clearly see that this seating area did not work for my family. And the fact that I had to go back and forth with the manager and then her try to blame me. When her reasoning did not make no sense. I am beyond disappointed. This has always been my tradition to come to Texas Roadhouse on my birthday. To say the least my night was ruined. I had lost my appetite I couldn't even finish or enjoy my time with my family. After this experience I am sad to say I don't want to come back and celebrate special occasions or dine in anymore. If you could please train you staff on customer service and problem solving. I was in Milwaukee because my mom just passed away. My family flew in from all over the country, so I thought it would be nice to take them out after making her final arrangements. Wanted to go somewhere for lunch and chose here. I love their bbq chicken dinner! We had this and their potato skin appetizers. The green beans that came with the dinner had a smokey bbq flavor to it which gave it a nice edge. Tried their original margarita with a kicker of their blue agave tequila! We recently went to Texas Roadhouse for my wife's birthday. I don't know if they still do the ridiculous saddle thing, so we kept quiet about it. A complimentary beverage or appetizer would be a nice gesture instead of a saddle and public spectacle. The steaks were good, though I ordered mine medium-well and it was basically medium. If they are going to err, I would rather have them err on the side of being a little too red rather than overdone. All in all though, the food was good and so was the service. My one complaint is the sheer number of times we get asked how the food is. During a typical dinner, we get asked 3-5 times. There is no reason for the assistant manager to ask.
