Checked out Texas Roadhouse with a friend for his birthday. Texas Roadhouse is a great place to go for good steaks and drinks. You can carry a conversation at your table without having to shout. There is a lot of seating, and you're not too close to others when seated. We (3) ordered ribeyes 2 with just mushrooms while mine was with mushrooms and onion. I also got ribs. Everything was delicious. Each entree included 2 sides. Sides ordered were Salads, Green Beans, Baked Potato, buttered corn and seasoned rice. The buttered corn and season rice was just wonderful. If you're looking for a nice steak dinner on a budget, Texas Roadhouse is the place to go. We were greeted nicely by everyone at the host stand, and the bartender. Our server was also nice and attentive. She always checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything.

    Suppose to ne prime rib...

Service was good. I went early like 3:30. It get very loud in the restaurant. I ordered the special prime rib sandwich. The meat was pale indicating it was probably left over. Not pink at all and tasteless.they covered ot up with cheese. It was weird looking. Not going there for a very long time.

Only our second time dining in person (we normally order to go) we decided to try the New Berlin location due to last year having such issues at the Waukesha location. To start with we used the waitlist feature on the app, very easy to use! There really wasn't a wait for the time we were going however we still used it and signed up when we were about 5 minutes away! We were quickly seated with a basket of fresh rolls! Our server was great all evening (Kaylanee) all the food was really good and we appreciated that was actually decent timing between the appetizer, salads/soup and then main dish. Which I feel is fully credit to the server and how they enter your order in the system! Fun fact they still do the peanuts you can ask the hostess for a bag of them- that is what the silver bucket on the table is for so you can place the shells!

My visit in restaurant on Monday the week of 10/20 was fantastic. It was my first ever visit there and I was in for the week for work. They welcomed me in and made me feel like I was part of the family! Service was decent, refills were difficult to obtain but not horrible. The food was delicious! I enjoyed every bite! I got steak tips with a baked potato, corn, and applesauce. Basic but tasty. Peach sweet tea for my beverage. The second time was Thursday of the same week and I ordered take out. My food was missing items, they were out of tea and rolls and I paid for extra butter which they didn't include either. The appitizer was hard and far from fresh. The meal was a huge disappointment. I did speak to management the next day and they made it right so my hats off to them.

Great food, great service at this Texas Roadhouse location. I've dined here twice in the past couple months. The hot rolls and cinnamon butter are delicious to start. Each meal, the steaks have been prepared to perfection and seasoned well. We went with the combo platters because the fall-off-the-bone ribs are not to be ignored! The BBQ chicken served in the combo is very tender and juicy. I enjoy a good Caesar salad, and it comes out crisp, cold, with the perfect amount of dressing. I would have liked to have had the potato served on the side, as it didn't fit on the plate well, and my ribs were hanging off the side. The restaurant was full during both visits, yet we could still talk as the noise level was too loud. The server was efficient, and the manager also checked in on us. I actually prefer steaks here to some higher end steakhouses I have visited.

Oh where do I start? Waitress was very nice for me, ordered a steak medium well, buuuut came back rather than a live animal. Playing was an absolute slop fest, with little care. Sent it back, but management gave it back and it was over cooked to hell...blackened, dry and extremely tough. Was quite embarrassing, and never again at this place. Horrible management no apology, I almost wanted to cry (actual tears), since I'm a guy I won't... Management didn't even take it off and was and soggy ass fries because the way they plated...EMBARRASSING! Also to note someone got sick I believe and the ambulance was there? Not sure if it is a safe place to eat...

Yeehaw! I haven't been to TR in a VERY long time and this was my husband's first visit. We visited on a busy Friday night. We were impressed by how friendly all of the employees were and they were hustling! Our orders were taken and we received our drinks and rolls right away. The restaurant was clean and everyone was working together like a well-oiled machine. We enjoyed people watching while waiting for our food. Some groups were celebrating birthdays. We received our food and everything was yummy! The food was salty but I like salt, so it's not an issue for me. We had steaks, shrimp, salads, green beans and a baked potato. Plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow and the price was fair. Keep doing you, Texas Roadhouse!

The first impression coming in, the Hostess greeted us, no smile. I said booth for 3 my daughter on her way. A Nurse running 10 minutes late. She refused to sit us! We are Seniors, hubby hard time walking. We had a Bday gift in large gift bag for my daughter. We also traveled 4 hrs to get there, wanted to order appetizer and drinks. NO WAY SHE SAID. HAVE TO WAIT. I said okay then two of us thinking we'd get a nice booth. No Way. I asked the girl Please give us a bigger booth, daughter here in the parking lot! Bless her heart she mDe it works. My daughter came. Later lady Manager came over to ask how we're doing?? I explained, she said a policy all guests must come in at same time. SERIOUSLY TEXAS ROADHOUSE GROW UP CHANGE YOUR POLICY!! THANK you. I told her the gal up front was very rude and that set the Tone. Not good with me.

Slight challenge noted in #3 1. The Vibe & decor was Nostalgic 1980s Wisconsin supper club vibe with Christmas lights, mirrored walls, and a small vintage bar. Being seated at the bar first was a treat because I got to see all the quality drink ingredients and had a front row to the live music. 2. The Drinks Excellent, high-quality cocktails with house made mixers instead of bottled stuff. The Hennessy Sidecar and Tiramisu Martini were both amazing! 3. The Food My husband ordered a Ribeye & Fries. He said it was the perfect medium, delicious, and had a good crust. His steak fries were piping hot and good! We shared them. I opted to get two appetizers instead of an entree which meant no salad unless I wanted to pay an up charge. I decided on the crab mac & cheese. It was flavorful and creamy. It had real crab meat folded directly into the cheese sauce instead of lump crab thrown on top like other Steakhouses Crab Cakes-Hate to say it but I was very disappointed. They were full of flour filler, there was not a lump of crab to find. I would be surprised if they're even made in house. Looked nothing the image that led to me ordering them. They had so much flour in them that they stuck to the roof of my mouth. Reminded me of Pick N Save's 5/$5 crab cakes from their meat department. 4.Service & Hospitality was top tier. The waitress was kind and attentive. She noticed the crab cakes were barely touched & when I expressed dissatisfaction with them she had them removed from our bill without any hesitation or pushback. Despite the crab cake challenge, the incredible drinks, great steak, nostalgic atmosphere, and stellar service made for a wonderful night out. So, to answer your question... Yes, we will absolutely be back!

There is the restaurant on the first floor, and an event space on the second floor. Made 6:30 reservations for Wednesday for 4, and got right in. Had a table by the large windows that look for the patio and lake. Very pretty spot. Got greeted immediately by our server, who did a great job the entire evening. (thanks Laura). Got us water, took our drink order, along with an order for Onion Rings. The onion rings didn't take long, and they were excellent. Crispy with an interesting texture, hot, and served with a side of ranch (could have used more of that). The drinks were good, with the exception of one glass of a beer flight which was super flat, and was happily replaced by the server. For entrees we got: BLT, Blacked Fish Tacos (with extra bacon), Pesto Encrusted Salmon, and Salmon Power Salad. A note about the Pesto "Encrusted" Salmon. It's not really "encrusted", more like a scoop of pesto placed on top of the Salmon, and they finished under a broiler? Good but not what was expected. Didn't take that long for the food to arrive. It was all very good. The tacos were fresh, great flavor and hot. The fries that came with it, were NOT as not as I would like. Both grilled salmon entrees were also very good. The Power Bowl was excellent, with lots of fresh greens and other yummy add ins (goat cheese, blueberries, etc) A very good evening, with the exception of a couple of small hiccups.

The Steakout - Milwaukee, WI…read more If you're headed to Milwaukee, The Steakout is an absolute must. I eat steak at least once a week, both at home and at restaurants. At home, I know exactly what my family and I like. Ordering steak out is always a bit of a gamble. My husband usually avoids it because 1) we (well I) make great steak at home and 2) every other business meeting seems to happen at a steakhouse. The Steakout is the exception. This place was a solid 10/10 from start to finish. The Atlantic Salmon was an absolute masterpiece. Yes...even in the Midwest. Sushi-grade salmon, perfectly seared on the outside with a buttery medium-rare center. We almost ordered the walleye because, well, Wisconsin. Instead, we took a chance and were rewarded big time. Paired with a bright lemon aioli and served over a rich butter broth, every bite made us look at each other and say, "Okay...this was the right decision." Aside from finding a couple fish bones (because fish are, in fact, made of fish and bones), this dish was outstanding. Now let's talk Prime Rib. Prime rib and I have a complicated relationship. I see it on a menu and immediately think, "this is the one." Then about half the time I spend the rest of dinner wishing I'd ordered something else, like a trusty ribeye or NY Strip. Not here. The Steakout absolutely nailed it. Perfectly medium rare, juicy, flavorful, with a fantastic au jus, beautifully seared asparagus, and just the right thickness. Honestly, I don't know what they could've done better. I couldn't make anything up even if I tried! The French Onion Soup was another winner. Rich, cheesy, and exactly what you hope for when you order French onion soup. And because it's a true Midwest supper club, dinner started with a warm bread basket and a classic relish tray loaded with fresh vegetables, pickles, and olives. Honestly, I wish every restaurant still did this. Bring back relish trays! Of course, no great steak dinner ends without dessert. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, we ordered the tiramisu to go. "To go" lasted approximately five minutes. By the time we waddled to the car looking like Violet after her Willy Wonka blueberry fiasco, that tiramisu didn't stand a chance. Thankfully, we headed straight to Milwaukee's Summerfest afterward to walk off at least a few of the calories. Zero regrets. For the quality of food, the portions, and the overall experience, The Steakout is incredibly reasonably priced. If you're anywhere near Milwaukee, do yourself a favor and put this one at the top of your list.
