    Witches brew marg

Personally haven't been to Chili's in years. With the "Wicked" movie, social media was raving about the Chili's margarita of the month - "Witches Brew" and "The Good Witch" so you know I had to try it! And man, was it worth it. I honestly don't know which one is my favorite. The Witches brew is more on the tart side because of the Granny Smith Apple and The Good Witch is more on the sweeter side because of the Monin dragonfruit. And you will definitely defy gravity after drinking these margaritas! I forgot Chili's best feature is that they KNOW how to make a GREAT and STRONG margarita. And you can't say you've been to Chili's without ordering their "Triple Dipper" appetizer. We chose the Mozzarella sticks, sliders, and egg rolls. On a separate visit we substituted the egg rolls for the buffalo boneless wings and it was a hit. OMG THE CHEESE PULL IS REAL!!!! These were the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a while. They don't play! Lastly, we always prefer to sit at the bar. And our bartender (didn't catch his name) but you can tell he knows the ins and outs of his job. He is amazing and we never feel like we are left unattended, even when it's packed. Hopefully they keep these margaritas in the menu so I can keep coming!

One of the best chili's I've been to. Kind greeting and friendly faces as you enter the door. Wait staff was wonderful getting us seated right away with drinks. Restaurant was clean. With sounds of sizzling filling the air along with great smells I had to get the trio fajitas. Kids got the triple dipper / wife got the sliders. Food came out looking just like in the commercials. And yes the mozzarella sticks had the world famous cheese pull.

Triple Dipper bone in wings, chicken crispers and mozzarella all honey chipotle with a side of ranch.

Hey ya'll! Got a delivery from this establishment and let me tell you, it definitely wasn't expecting such a mess. I ordered a triple dipper with honey chipotle everything. Bone in wings, chicken crispers and mozzarella. Side of ranch for the dipping sauce. They must of dropped the top of honey chipotle inside of the box. The whole bottom was saturated. The wings were like rocks and they only provided me drums, no flats. But everything else tasted okay. Just a little to much on the sauce, they over did it. If ya'll order it, just know it might come the same way. Ya'll be good!!

It was ok. Nothing memorable, nothing horrible. Very average. Service was prompt, and friendly. The music was so low I couldn't even hear it over the chatter. There were all sorts of games playing so it remains a great place to watch a match/game. The beer wasn't very cold, and I found the selection rather limited. The place needs a DEEP clean though. The decor had visible layers of dust, which was truly gross. I'm not sure we will be back

Wow, chilis is back! Good to see. Excellent lunch, great value , and solid service. Best location I've been to in years. Keep it up

I haven't had such a good Chili's experience in a long, long time. I went with my son and my boyfriend Charles, and everything was perfect from the moment we sat down. Our server was amazing -- super friendly, constantly checking on us, and making sure our waters stayed full. My boyfriend ordered his burger well-done, and when it came out not fully cooked, Charles made sure to let them know. The kitchen didn't just re-cook it -- they actually started over completely with fresh bread and everything. That really impressed me! The burger came back exactly how he liked it, and it tasted great. The food was delicious, the service was on point, and the whole experience was honestly amazing. Definitely the best Chili's visit I've had in a long time! Highly recommend.

The Merry Maker Margarita - seasonal drink. Sooo good
    Gladys S.

Great local place to grab a quick dinner and a drink. Had their seasonal margaritas and it was so good. Today was super loud and crowded due to the holidays but service was good and food came out quick.

Came here on a Tuesday for margarita day ... and unfortunately the drinks were not the best . The service was ok ... very typical of chilis , they forgot most of the food when the order was placed . But when the food arrived it was fresh and warm. The drinks were not the best .. lack of flavor and options . This location didn't get as full which is great , for a quick bite and just a chill night.

Margarita of the Month - Watermelon Spritz
    Christopher B.

This Chili's location is on Sheridan Street and very close to the hard rock hotel where myself and some friends visited this past week. There was a hostess that sat us wherever we liked and we chose the bar because we were considering a few of the margaritas of the month. The server was a nice, tall, young lady. She came to greet us after a few minutes, but I can only imagine this took long because the bar was quite packed. It was around the 5 o'clock timeframe when others were getting off of work. The first round of watermelon spritz's we ordered was fantastic. We ordered a couple appetizers and decided to order a few more drinks shortly thereafter. The happy hour two for one special on the margaritas did not taste as good. The sour mix tasted old and not very fresh. I then ordered a Patron Presidente Margarita, and that also was lacking in terms of alcohol content and fresh flavors. The food was fantastic and I ordered a Smashburger that came with thousand island dressing and was nicely cooked. The chips and salsa rocked and it is always a great staple here. The enchilada soup was super flavorful and heavenly! I may just stop in for food next time but still had a nice dinner with friends regardless!

I checked my Yelp and up popped this restaurant. I'm glad it did because the food was very good. The vibe was Southern, rustic, casual, and charming. The chefs in the kitchen were friendly and waved to us as we were leaving. I thought that was a nice touch. The place was empty when we got there but filled up by the time we were leaving. Everyone was in a good mood. There was country music playing in the background without being too loud. We were served by Katrina, who was friendly and helpful with their menu. We had the Smoked Brisket Melt, which was delicious and a generous portion of it, like it should be. The fries were crispy and seasoned properly. The coleslaw was fresh and good. Everything there is home-made. For dessert, we shared the Creme Brulee pancakes. You need to try those, yummy! Parking is right out front with wheelchair accessibility. We plan to return for their breakfasts next time.

The restaurant aesthetic was super cute and is located in a plaza so easy parking nearby. As a party of 2, we were sat immediately and our server got our order relatively fast. We were upset to find out they ran out of biscuits especially bc it was still so early so me and another patron were confused. I ordered the breakfast with 1 waffle, bacon, turkey links (extra charge on the side) & scrambled eggs. The food took a bit of time to come out, i believe 1 couple left because it was taking too long. It made me skeptical to ever run, much less over the weekend when more people are off from work. It doesn't help its very small inside. Overall the food was good and our server made sure to come by and tell us "food will be out shortly." However, i don't think it's worth a return.

We've seen their sign for a couple of years now on Federal heading north between Hollywood and…read moreSheridan. The name never landed with us as it sounded like a standalone food court. It was the sign underneath that read, "Too tired to cook today?" that made us take notice. Looking at the online menu we found that it was not only a who's who of Latin dishes of different nationalities, but they also served bar fare - chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, etc. Not knowing what their specialty was, we never committed to it. But today was one of those days where we felt like something different and we took a chance. The gamble paid off big. The menu was all over the place, so not knowing what direction to go in, I addressed the waiter who was all too ready to help. He pointed me to some of his faves: the Bandeja Paisa, Lomo Saltado, and Ropa Vieja. I'd had my eye on the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian stir fry dish. The Bandeja Paisa is Colombian, and the Ropa Vieja - Cuban. I asked him what the nationality of the ownership was, when he revealed it was Colombian. I was immediately skeptical of ordering the ropa vieja - being half Cuban, I could not fathom the idea of a Colombian-owned restaurant pulling this off. So Joe took one for the team there. The waiter assured me that everything he has tried has in fact been delectable. But hey, what else is he supposed to say? But no, he assured me these were not marketing words, but words of experience. So I went for the Lomo Saltado which was served with black beans and rice, and french fries. He didn't hesitate to vouch for the black beans... I think he sensed my Colombian skepticism. Joe had replaced his fries for sweet plantains, so I took his cue and substituted my fries for tostones. But, not before warning the waiter that I would be particularly particular about the quality of my favorite plantain dish. He gave me a confident nod - so I played along. Joe's dish came out a few seconds before mine, and being the impatient carnivore that I am, I (let's say borrowed) his ropa vieja before he had a chance to pick up his fork. I was very pleasantly surprised. On par with any old clothes I have tried at any Cuban restaurant... and even better than some, albeit in longer strands than I've experienced. However, extremely juicy, full of flavor and tender. Then came my Lomo. I'm a first-timer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fan-tastic. A bit charred outside with a juicy medium innard that cuts like butter, and to my relief, deceivingly tender. The lomo napped on a bed of sautée-charred veggies whose sweetness was a nicely balanced contrast to the savory meat. The black beans were definitely on point and seasoned with Colombian love. And those ten-ton-tostones!!! By far the thickest fried medallions I've had, but with a brutally loud crunch and still a real easy chew. And unlike John Travolta in a black T-Bird jacket, totally Greaseless. Often times, tostones of this variety are tough and as chewable as week-old yellow paper mache. Nope, these are some of the best tostones I've had in a couple of years. But by far the best of their kind. I also borrowed one of Joe's sweet plantations which once again left no trace of greased lightning and were rendered a perfect dark brown with a nice and plush sunshine yellow inside. The portions were more than generous and the price was comfortably modest. I expressed my deepest gratitude to our waiter for his patience and his spot on recommendations. He also swore by their burger which he had just sampled for the first time and which is made partly with Colombian chorizo and served with a side of chimichurri. Chorizo and chimichurri for little cha-ching.... I'm sure I'll be chowing on that real soon. Food Corner is a cornucopia of Latin influences, and so far, it's also a master of two of them. (We were too excited to take photos)
