Came by for a Friday night dinner around 8:30 and the place was packed. Parking spots were still available in the lot. Inside had music playing with NBA finals on Closed Caption. Also it was hot. Used to be my favorite restaurant. I'd always get the Parmesan crusted chicken but lately the recipe must have changed. I can't tolerate spicy seasonings and my chicken still came seasoned with black pepper despite telling the manager and asking the server not to put on any. I ended up very sick and this is the second time I almost ended up in the ER. Food sensitivities are no joke and this location seems not to care at all about its customers and their well being. We were a larger party so they claimed we had 2 servers. 3 of 4 steaks cooked wrong, chopped steak with mushrooms was sitting in oil and the mashed potatoes were watery with no taste with something that resembled melted butter on it. I forgot how good the food at longhorns is. I came here this past Friday with my mom while visiting Arrived around 1pm. It wasn't too packed when we walked in, but immediately started to fill up with the lunch crowd. My mom and I both ordered the lemon chicken. I ordered it with a side of crispy Brussels sprouts of course, cause I love Brussel sprouts and my mom ordered hers with a side of the steakhouse mac & cheese, which is amaaaazing! Love the crispy Parmesan crust. Like seriously. There was extra to take home which was perfect. We also ordered aside of mashed potatoes to go, which was so buttery and delicious. This experience was all over the place. Our server was training someone. It wasn't the best service experience. I ordered a Margarita and it just wasn't made correctly. They left that ome and gave me a new one which was also not good. Our salads were brought when the entrees were. It was a little chaotic. My filet mignon was excellent. It had a great flavor. The side salad was not too good. It was sort of boring. My loaded baked potato was pretty good. He enjoyed the NY strip steak. He agreed about the salad. We ordered from the $9.99 lunch menu and the kids got their steak, fries and a coke. I ordered the 7 pepper sirloin lunch salad. It came with one side and I chose the French onion soup. My meal was very good and I would order it again. The kids were really happy with their steak. My boyfriend was not happy with the seasoning in his burger. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. Parking was easy in the restaurant's lot. I took my son to this same location when he was young. It has been there a very long time. Bought the least expensive steak, 8 oz Renegade, and it was delicious. The buttery melt-in-your-mouth softness, the flavor, the freshness and texture. Wow! What a good beef steak! The sides were all about excessive toppings. I sent the Fried Brussels Sprouts back to the chef. The sweet potato had at least 1/3 cup of sugar on it. Once I stirred it up and the dry sugar melted, it was delicious, too. The house cocktail is Jack Daniels & Coke for $5.49 That is my favorite cocktail. We're a local middle aged gay white couple. We live within walking distance and used to come here at least once a week. Not anymore. We have no issues with the food; it's always been delicious and reasonably priced. Physically the place has become more smelly, dirty and worn to where it's obviously being neglected by management/ownership. Then, out of nowhere, the manager came over and forced us to get up and give away our table because another party was "less than 10 minutes away." Seriously? We were already paying customers, sitting, settled, and waiting to eat. It was humiliating to be treated like we didn't matter at all. Once a guest is seated and orders have been placed, you don't kick them out for someone else. That's not just bad service. That is pure disrespect. We came here to relax and enjoy a meal, and instead we left upset, embarrassed, and angry. This is unacceptable, and we will never be back. I cannot speak about the steaks as I don't eat meat. The problem is, the restaurant smells very bad like mildew. This is my local longhorn and we come to this location maybe every other month. They are always pretty steady but the weekends can be a wait time. You can put yourself on the list online so the wait time is less. Berry sangrias are sweet but always good. I also enjoy the strawberry margaritas as well. For dinner last time we had the pork chops with baked potatoes which were cooked perfectly. I also ordered the ny strip with the roasted corn and it was also cooked as requested. We have been customers at LongHorn for many years , the food is great, cannot beat there prices, and we enjoyed the nice hot bread that they serve us . For the food they deserve 5 stars . My négatif is with the service. If you expect to have a bet of a friendly conversation with your server, this is not the restaurant for you. They should have more servers to cope with the number of customers. The servers come, give us the menu, and few minute later comme back to take our order. As they bring your food, they put it on our table ,or should had say, they through the plates on the table, still not much conversation . It is like that for the rest of the meal. So, if you go for a meal, without any conversation with your server this is the place. But us we prefer a friendly service with at least enough conversation that we know they speak english .
