I wouldn't say this restaurant isn't my favorite because of the quality of the food but the food in general, it's just my taste. Overall the experience of the service and the food is good. To me, I like going here for lunch. I usually get the Cajun Chicken Alfredo and it's good. I would've gave this review 4 stars easy, but the main reason I would go here is for the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer. In my last visit they had a menu change and took it off and now it has been replaced with something called a White Queso Spinach Dip or something like that. I liked the Spinach Artichoke Dip because I could taste all ingredients, but now with this new one it only has a strong taste of cheese with Guacamole and pico de gallo put in the middle. Not a fan of this at all, is this a good restaurant? Of course, but will I be going back? Probably not until that White Queso dip is out and Spinach Artichoke is back in. read more

Can't say it was the best meal I've ever had. I should have known better than to get loaded baked potato soup in the summer time but I got it anyway. Boy I'll never do that again, nor will I eat their stale crackers again either. The Fresco Salad would have been great but it had four times the amount of dressing that it should have. I ordered a full rack of ribs and they were the Bomb. My husband ordered the triple decker and it was so amazing. My mom order a chicken salad with fried chicken on top which really isn't on the menu. Our waiter took care of it no problem and she got exactly what she wanted. Then my mom ordered cheesecake which was delicious and I ordered a burger to go for a friend and it was exactly what I ordered as well. We ate after the movies and what a terrible meal we had. My wife ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and tea and I had a cheeseburger with fries and water. 28 dollars and the fries were cold and the grilled cheese was soggy and she ate a couple of bites and the cheeseburger was also served with cold buns and awful vegetables. Service was good and that's the only good thing about this place. We could have gotten a better meal and much cheaper at McDonald's. Maybe the cook was having a bad night. Be awhile before we go back if ever. read more

I ordered my food to go. Was pleasantly surprised when it was ready when I got there. Opened it up and it had cheese whe I had asked for no cheese, ok this happens not a big deal. Then I waited for quite a while for them to get it right. Funny thing was I was starving as it was after 3 and had only eaten breakfast. Well I get my sandwich back with very cold fries. The ones I had gotten with my first order that was wrong. Nothing worse than having to wait for a meal mix up and then getting old cold fries...The lady was nice, so that is why I gave 2 stars. read more

We had a wonderful experience at this Chilis although we almost didn't go based on some of the other reviews. We stopped here for dinner while traveling from Memphis to College Station. We were greeted at the door by a host who seated us immediately. Our waitress, obviously experienced, greeted us soon after we were seated, brought our drinks and water and checked twice to see if we'd decided on our menu selection. Our food arrived quickly. My lime chicken dish was juicy and well prepared with a delicious mango jalapeño salsa and perfectly steamed broccoli. We received our bill without a wait and used the kiosk to check out. All around, a very pleasant encounter. read more

A small-town "mini" Chilis. I went for lunch during the work week. Very crowded. Standard Chilis fare. Good and predictable.

I have done take out with Chili's several times and I have never not liked the food. They check the order with you when you pick it up. Wait staff so far had been very friendly and helpful. I will continue going back once in a while. I love their southwest egg rolls... holy cow! read more

Several years ago chillis kilgore was v poor. Bad mAnagement. Since 2011 it cont to improve. The fiod is excellent. Staff work v hard to please. The place is packed at lunch and dinner. read more

stay away from this mess.......dirty forks, knives and spoons....our waiter was awful, we were there early,ordered their pasta with shrimp.....shrimp not cooked, and they got my hubby's 100% wrong, when we asked our waiter, he decided to argue with us. so the manager came over, he was about as helpful as a sick toddler.........and the place was almost empty.....we waited 51 min. for our wrong order. it always worries me when waitstaff show up at your table with no note pen and ticket book............prime example. read more

This review is for service not the food, or lack of service I should say. I ordered online and wet to pick up my order. When I got there The girl working the to go counter put down her phone (texting) and helped me. She brought out my order and looked in the bag then charged me. After I got to my hotel room I went to eat my chili, but it wasn't chili. It was chicken enchilada soup?? oh well, I like their soup so I figured I would just eat it. I went in the bag to get out my plastic ware only to find there was none, so back to chills I go. I walked in and she again put down her phone and got me plastic ware. Long story short, I went back one more time after she failed to give me my iced tea. there was no confusion on the order because they emailed me the receipt of my order. I only wish that I didn't tip her the first time.. I will never go back there because apparently management has no policy about not using your phone at work.
