What more can be said about Chili's other than it is the standard Mexican cuisine that everyone goes to for great tasting food that doesn't hurt the wallet. Depending on what time of day you go, you can expect the crowd side to be anywhere between mild to moderate. Out of the 15 times that I've been here, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. The staff are very attentive and will always make sure you don't go dry on your refill. Chili's is focused on showing sport games by the bar area hence the ambiance in the establishment is very sporty oriented. I ordered a steak with loaded mash and by grilled asparagus. The steak was medium rare which I liked very much. Beautifully seasoned, had a nice char to it. The loaded mash was delightful, it almost had this creamy airy consistency to it. We decided to try chillis Kilgore one last time last night. No better than 6 months ago. The wait staff bar one or two try so hard to make the visit enjoyable . The your greeter girl does a great job as do the hard working stuff. But the food sucks. Our order was wrong again! Plus they've stuck they're prices up a gain. _$117 bucks Inc tip for ribs a beer for 2! Forget it. We had planned to go to back porch but it was closed for July 4. Take my advice BP prices are great. The food is great. Try the chicken fried steak and green beans the best I've tasted in 20 years. Forget chillis they've now got some real competition in Kilgore at last. We eat about once a week at chilis and have sampled many of the menu items. My favorite isthe salmon, which is prepared with two sauces, neither of which I can remember the name of. But I order it with the asparagus,and must have eaten this dish about two or three hundred times. Needless to say, it's good! Ah, good old Chili's. I've eaten at Chili's more in the last 4 months than I ever have in the first 30 years of my life since we started our project in Kilgore. This place always seems pretty busy during lunch time and is one of the top go-to places for dinner and drinks in the evenings. It's like every other Chili's - laid back atmosphere with a pretty varied menu. My experience here has always been good, and today was no different. Our server was very attentive, keeping our drinks full and constantly checking in. The food was great. I had the Old Timer Burger with a black bean veggie patty - my favorite dish when I come here! We had dinner tonight at Chili's in Kilgore this was the 3rd time and final time to eat at this location. Let's start we get our waitress she takes our drinks come back and takes our order. Then she disappears for the rest of the night. The service was horrible and either messed up the order or forgot to get our order out right. Tonight I had the 3 for me. The soups came out fine but my appetizer did not. Next the food came out I had to ask the runner about it. I am done eating when it finally shows up. I ask to talk to a manger he or she never came to my table. I paid for the meal and we left. At the door I was greeted by the manager and I told him what happen and was apologetic about the situation because he was never told about it. I am not sure if anything will be done about it but is sure is disappointing when they have good flavoring on the food but the service is horrible. When we visit Kilgore, we always stay in the Comfort Suites. After long days full of family, we often end up stopping by Chili's for drinks and to recover :-D Sure, you can get Chili's almost everywhere and there is better Tex Mex in Kilgore, but the service here is fantastic! The team there always takes great care of us and is always patient with my crazy family. My grandfather said when eating their chili burger, "there sure is a lot of meat in this here burger!" A hearty recommendation that makes sense when you remember he's eaten a lifetime of mini #3s at the Char-burger (which we also love, but very different)! What a great place for lunch.. The Siesta burger was Awesome. The waitress did a great job checking on us throughout our lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful and the prices are resonable. We live in Tyler but happened to be in Kilgore last night with my family... decided to pop in for dinner. Place was a little busy.. requested a booth and they quickly cleaned one off for us. I have been a pretty regular customer for a few years. It's been one of the best places in Kilgore to eat until today. 12.28.19. The broccoli was going bad and the potato chunks in the loaded mashed potatoes weren't cooked. The coslaw had a weird taste to it and when we talked to the manager he said it was lemon juice they put in it... this has been at least the second or third time this week that we have came here and each time I gave gotten the coslaw so it's hard to believe it changed that drastically. The steak my husband ordered was raw and when taken back they cooked on one side and when it came back out half was cooked a bit more and half tasted fishy... yuck! The manager was nice about our concerns but I would recommend staying away from this chili's for awhile... well give it another try in a few months when things have settled hopefully. read more

Both of my parents worked for Brinker for over 15 years and managed plenty of Brinker restaurants so I have been to many a chili's. The chicken tenders are a classic, and wings over buffalo. I love all the classic menu items but am not too fond of the new menu items. Food usually comes out hot and fresh, which is almost a rarity now-a-days. The drinks... Are... Well... Weak. Once I think my order was confused for juice... One time it was brought to the manager's attn and he fixed it... Then remembered us the next time we came in... Lol. We were in Kilgore this weekend for a wedding. Went into Chilis about 10pm for a late dinner. I must be spoiled as this is simply the worst Chilis I have ever been in. There was a pile of dirty glasses(18) next to me on the bar. I nearly left as I waited nearly 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence at the bar. When the bartender finally appeared I placed a drink order and waited another 7 to 8 minutes for my beverage. The bar top was dirty, looking like it had not been wiped of in a few hours. As I sat there i looked around and the facilities looked like a good cleaning was in order. The staff seemed to be more interested in the latest gossip rather than taking care of their customers! Having been in retail management I would be very disappointed in the staff if i was responsible for them! Next time in Kilgore I will find a drive-through. read more

My wife and I have been eating at Chili's for 40 years all over the state and have never had a bad meal. This trip was real close to bad. She had the Southern Smokehouse Burger for $11.39. For that price it should have been a little special but it wasn't. It was basically lacking flavor even with all the stuff piled on it. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta for $12.49. They need to rename it to Cajun Pasta because it was sure lacking in the chicken part. I had to dig around to find the 4 or 5 pieces of chicken. It was also a disappointment. I have never given a one star review before, but I guess there is a first time for everything. We went in for a late-night meal. We hadn't been to Chili's in quite awhile and needed a little time to look over the menu. Our server came up three times in a row in the first five minutes, trying to take our order before we were ready. We very politely asked him each time to give us a few more minutes as we wanted to look the menu over first. He was extremely rude, walked off, and never returned. Twenty minutes later, we walked out, while he was sitting at a booth with friends talking away. In addition, the tables and chairs were sticky and the floor messy.
