Ordered the prime rib stuffed burrito. It was stuffed alright, with rice. Very little meat. Was over cooked as well. Sat in the oven too long, dried it out, and crusted the cheese. I was hungry so I ate it. Beer was cold as hell, so they get 3 stars.... read more

Not sure what's wrong with the other reviewers, but I don't think they have ever been to a chain restaurant before. Food is just the same as any other Chilis, but the employees are pretty cool. All 4 times I've been here have been with pretty chill servers. read more

Iv'e been searching for the best hamburger in Manhattan and Chili's has won. I find myself going there every time I want a burger. Great taste and always juicy. Thanks Chili's. Love their flatbreads too but order the drizzle on the side. read more

When I first came to Manhattan, I didn't care for this Chili's. When I heard that they had another GM I decided to give it a chance. I could tell a difference right away in the quality of the food, the friendliness and skill of the staff, and the general atmosphere of the restaurant. I've started going regularly and it has become one of my favorite places in town. If you're looking for a great meal and service in a comfortable atmosphere, I would recommend this Chili's without hesitation. Definitely one of the better Chili's I've been to. read more

So happy to see a chili's when we moved here. I don't eat mammals and love that chili's has a black bean burger. So we visited the last week of October. Upon entering the host was super friendly and seated us immediately. As a corporate chain most people have an idea of what they want when they get there. We did. We scanned the menu and decided hen looked up for someone to take at least a drink order as people passed us by. One server chatted us as she went by and I remember thinking, you saw us come in and see no coasters, which is their tell that we've been greeted, and didn't even stop. Whatever, maybe the server for this section is slammed. She finally shows up and we order everything at once. We get our drinks and appetizers finally get there. So far no harm no foul except we are 20 minutes in to somewhere we came in knowing what we wanted. Burgers come... I had ordered mine with mayo on the side and was told mustard comes on it, perfect. No mustard to be seen. I ask for some and finally dress my food and dig in. Well the kitchen staff must really hate someone ordering black bean burgers because they decided mine was best burnt. No way was I waiting for another one nor would I trust sending anything back so I used extra mustard and ate because we were starving. The fries were great, the egg rolls were great. The fry cook is on point, but that's it. It's gonna take a serious craving to come back with Roadhouse right beside it. Super disappointed in this place. read more

Love Love Love me some chili's. Went there over lunch and I have to say I've been to multiple Chili's and this is by far the best! Great food, great service, and not to mention the manager (Megan) even came over to greet us. Her smile is contagious and brightened my day! We will definetely be back! read more

My partner and I received a gift card to Chili's so we decided to stop in for lunch. We both have had previous poor experiences at Chili's, but we are new to this area and decided to give the Manhattan, KS store a chance. We were greeted promptly and the hostess kindly accommodated my request to sit at a booth in the bar, after she was going to seat us at a hi-top table. Our server came around and the water I requested was promptly delivered. I had also ordered a frozen margarita with salt and it was OK. The problem with this visit was the food. I ordered a bowl of chicken enchilada soup as an appetizer. It arrived in good time, but was lukewarm at best and lacked the complexity of flavor that I remember from previous trips to Chili's. My partner and I shared the Triple Dipper appetizer (O rings, chicken crispers, and egg rolls) and the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles. Again, all of these items arrived at the table room temperature. While the chicken and waffles had good flavor the fact that they were not hot made them much less appetizing. The chicken crispers on the appetizer were anything but, in fact they were greasy, soggy, and bordered on cold. I brought the food temperature issue to the attention of our waitress and she seemed none too concerned. No manager ever stopped to check on us, so we just let it go. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, but on par with previous experiences at Chili's restaurants. After this time, I think they have lost my business for life. Was wanting to order a nice meal through carry out. I called up they never quoted me a time it would be ready. I pick it up instead of classic nachos I got chicken nachos which would have been fine, But they burnt all of it and just put it in the box like" oh well we will give it to them anyway" anyone could see they were burnt bad. My country fried steak was small n curled up, But hey the sides weren't bad. I was charged for chicken nachos. Never was I read back the order to check if it was correct. Smh. Really a big let down when I spent $40 to have a nice meal n it was all but that. Chili's - a plate of pizza and condiments - Bars Near Me - Manhattan, Kansas

First off I'll start by saying I've visited this particular Chilis too many times to count over the last five years I've been here. Every time we've gone, we were treated well, the food was usually pretty good, and if the service was slow, we would always be compensated somehow. Well this is not the case anymore now that it seems to have fallen under new management. We ordered onion strings as an appetizer, and they were SO OVERLY SALTY it was nearly inedible after the second bite of it. Luckily we were able to change it to an order of chips which was not too bad. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers and my boyfriend ordered the Margarita Grilled Chicken. On top of receiving the Honey Chiptole Chicken without a drop of sauce on them, I gave them a taste and again, was overcome by salt as if they had dipped each individual piece of chicken in a vat of salt before frying. My boyfriend's chicken was soggy and tasteless, and the beans were dry as if they had been sitting around in the back after being microwaved. Again, I had my inedible meal switched out by an entirely new order of Mango Chile chicken. This meal was even MORE DISGUSTING than the last. The chicken was FROZEN in the middle and tasted completely off, while the rice was molten hot... The broccoli was raw and didn't look fresh at all. At this point, after coming in starved both my boyfriend and I were feeling ill from -trying- to eat the repulsive food. The manager came around and offered us a free desert, but at this point we just wanted to leave with our stomachs still intact. Hilariously enough, he tried to goat us into getting a desert because they " were already pre-made so they couldn't be messed up". Needless to say we weren't impressed by his attempt to eat more of their food. As we left, we saw the manager apologizing to yet another couple for the food. We enjoyed stomach problems for the rest of our Saturday night. Half price on the food wont be bringing us back, that's for sure. Chain restaurant with expected chain quality food. This is what I expect from Chili's, so that is not why they get 2 stars. We are new to Manhattan and have been very pleasantly surprised by the service you get at restaurants. It has been very impressive. This restaurant does not measure up. We have been 3 times and I am now convinced this is where all the servers go that can't get jobs anywhere else. Tonight I asked for salsa for my Mexican dish. Server kept giving me excuses of why he couldn't bring it out - cooks won't listen, kitchen is too busy, etc. My family finished their meals before I got salsa. He finally brought it out with this smile on his face, holds it up in the air and yells, "Victory". I thanked him and said I now needed a box because everyone ate without me and I will have to eat at home. He didn't apologize at all, but I truly don't think he even had the attentiveness to realize the issue. Just one example of several issues we have encountered there. If you want mediocre chain food in manhattan, there are better options with much better service. read more

Tonight was my first time at Chili's and it was an absolutely terrible experience. First off, the restaurant was pretty busy, which is standard for a Saturday night, so a 10 minute wait for a table wasn't horrible. Everything that happened thereafter, was. My friend waited 20 minutes for a margarita. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer. We waited approximately 60 minutes to receive our meals. My daughters macaroni and cheese (which looked and tasted identical to boxed mac and cheese) was ice cold. Literally like it had been in a refrigerator. My margarita grilled chicken came with dry, flavorless rice and black beans (obviously from a can) that were cold and dry. My friend ordered a grilled chicken salad and received a chicken sandwich. Our waitress was "less than attentive" and had to be flagged down several times. I will NEVER return to a Chili's again, and will be sure to share my first and only experience with anyone that mentions the restaurant. Not to mention, the bill was $32 and for that price, I could have made MUCH better tasting and WARM food at home. read more

CONS: I've been a long time customer of Chile's. I usually order the California Club Turkey Sandwich, along with chips n' salsa. On the Special Instructions, I ALWAYS write in all caps NO BACON (I have a bacon allergy). Well, this most recent time I went, NOT ONLY was there BACON on my sandwich, when I had SPECIFICALLY asked for no bacon (even the small type out sheet taped onto the takeout box proves it), but they also didn't include the soup that was supposed to come with my Chipotle Chicken Bowl, not to mention the California Club Turkey Sandwich itself just seemed WAY too buttered on the bread and gross-tasting. From now on, I will NOT stop here unless it's for some chips and salsa. By the way, when I order chips and salsa and say I want a QUART of it, that does NOT mean I want a "half pint's" worth of it! :( I also don't want to be forced to wait a good 5 minutes or so when I make an online order ready for a "specific time". Otherwise, why bother? PROS: Nevertheless, in spite of all that, the hostess that took care of my payment at the register was nice, friendly & professional and the Chipotle Chicken Bowl I ordered, along with my sandwich, turned out to be FANTASTIC! Chili's USED to be my favorite place to meet friends. My visit yesterday was such a disappointment, I'm not sure I'll return to this location. To begin, I ordered a soda, which turned out to be mostly carbonated water. Upon complaining nicely to our server, he responded by saying that he and the manager had tried it and it was fine. Bottomless chips and salsa were never refilled although our ticket indicated 3 refills. My silverware had dried food on it.! The food was not up to standard either. Overall, this was just a horrible experience with little interest by the manager to make anything right. read more

Me and my husband always enjoy going to Chilis. We recently moved here and decided to check out the local Chilis. Needless to say it was our worst visit ever. The service was was great until she took our order. After that we barely saw her. Me and my husband needed refills on our drinks when she finally noticed she had us take our straws out and hold them never have I had to this especially for water. She left with our drinks and did not return for sometime. When she returned she had our food with no drinks. She said our food order was confusing and she had to sort it out. Our food order was completely wrong. My husband order an item and just ask that he not be served any onions which was only in the Pico instead they completely stripped his meal to nothing. On top of all that this Chilis does not offer the rewards program so you can't earn any points and you have to go on your phone if you want to redeem a coupon you have. I am sadly disappointed as we haven't found a decent place to eat in this town and thought Chilis would at least be up to standard. read more

Chilis is an excellent place to eat at. It has a wonderful variety from mexican to bar b que. The quality of food is the best in our town. The managers are wonderful and do everything in theyre power to make sure your experience is the best possible. The waitstaff is fast and friendly and will do whatever you ask. Im very picky and they always make sure my food is perfect. And if its not they have no problem making it again. read more

My coworkers and I ate lunch here today and absolutely loved it! The location was perfect, the staff was lovely, the prices were reasonable, and the venue was clean and inviting. Not only was our server fantastic, but the food was great as well. When the manager came by our table, she was very pleasant to speak with, and made sure all of our needs were met. Same review on Trip Advisor. Went at around 4:30 sat at the bar. When I arrived no bartender waited and a man in a red shirt walked behind the bar and did not say a word to me. When the bartender showed up she walked past me to the other customer sitting at the bar with food and empty drink and asked if he wanted another before coming over to me. When I questioned her on the happy hour drink specials she became a bit defensive. I ordered a large beer. She than again disappeared came back walked over to the other guy I think she was trying to hit on him. When she did take my order and it was brought to me I had to ask twice for blue cheese for my wings. Not once did she ask me how my food was or would I like another beer when mine was down to a 1/4 of a glass. I travel a bunch and eat out almost every night. When I visit a chain I base my reviews on the service I receive. I can almost count on the food being the same most of the time this time it was good. Back to my unfriendly bartender I sat there for aprox another 20 min finished my beer and still nothing from her. Had to ask for my ck and I felt it was a struggle for her to say thank you. If you hate your job quit don't burden other people with your poor service and bad attitude. You should remember me I left you a less than 10% tip due to your lack of quality service. You can ask all my friends I am not a lite tipper as long as the service is good. I waited tables and bar-tended in my younger days so I know what it is like to survive on tips and all I can say is I never starved and my rent was never late. I am in the area aprox every 2 weeks and I will not go to this Chili's again. As bad as the reviews are I wonder if they read them.. read more
