(I left a $3 tip on a $60 bill. That speaks volume, I usually tip 20%.) My friend and I dined in 9:30ish on a Saturday night. I assume we missed the rush because we were quoted a ten minute wait but sat within five. Our server Daniel rudely approached our table and didn't introduce himself. (Tbh, had I not looked at the receipt, I would not know his name.) Instead, he took our drink orders and left. When he returned with drinks, we placed our order. My friend is an extremely light eater and asked if they could serve lunch. Before getting the question out, Daniel interrupted and said no. Whatever, cool. I get it. He could have at least let him finish the question. Daniel had 3 tables and only came to our table 4x. First time: drink order, second time: food order, third time: brought out food /asked if we wanted refills and fourth: dropped off the bill. Not once during dinner did he ask how the food tasted. I work in a restaurant so I give servers a break. I understand all they go though, how hard they work, and how manyyyy things are out of their control. Especially when busy. However, Daniel had THREE tables. Three. Absolutely no reason for the shitty service and shitty attitude. I think he treated us poorly because he thought we were young and wouldn't tip? Asked for butter 2 times as well and when it was brought the corn was too cold to apply it. Horrible experience. Party of 7 waiting for almost 30 minutes. After noticing other large parties taken in before us even when they signed in after our group, I decided to ask how much longer. Come to find out we weren't even put on the list although I recieved a text message when checking in. I wasn't even offered an apology and not even acknowledged by the guy who took my name and phone number. I was just told we had to wait another 15-20 minutes. This was by far one of the most unimpressive Chilies restaurant I have ever had the time to visit. I was so confused about the Southwest eggrolls. They were not cut in half like the other Chili's does. When I cut them MYSELF it was cold, like what the heck Chilies! I really enjoy Chilies happy hour and some of their appetizers but this time I was not impressed. they have really good happy hour prices though and all day on Sunday. No Saturday though. It has been yearzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz since we went to Chili's because it had just gotten bad. We decided to give them another go around and to our pleasant surprise, it was fantastic from start to finish. Our waiter was on it and had it all dialed in. My steak was perfect and I loved that he actually check with me after a few bites to see if it was. All the way around I am so down and will be returning. More restaurants than I can count ruin a potentially decent meal by putting hot food on a COLD plate. The result is COLD or barely LUKEWARM food. When WILL they learn the secret to serving hot food?!!! Had lunch here with friends recently and the spouse and I sampled each other's lunch orders. I didn't mind the salad being served cold :) But I did object when it was the soup. The attentive manager replaced it when we both complained, and we were grateful, but it was still not piping hot, just warmed a little more than before. (And I can't forget that originally the soup which we were constantly told would be ready in a minute, apparently slithered across the floor from the kitchen on its own legs as it took closer to half an hour to arrive.) I gave up at that point. Thus, I expected --- and got --- barely warm smashed potatoes (the sprinkle of cheese when mixed in didn't have a chance to melt), lukewarm baby back ribs and BBQ sauce, and the stodgy boneless buffalo wings were a total loss (should have tried the bone-in version as the boneless version proved the worst example of this dish that we've ever tried). And the side of cinnamon apples? Unless I was losing my mind, I could have sworn my memory was of something yummy served piping hot and decadently caramelized with cinnamon, but it came completely cold with no effort to warm it at all. And at this point, I totally gave up on the meal, packed it To Go and figured if I wanted it hot I'd have to do it myself at home ... where we always put the plates in the oven to warm :) read more

We thought it was a safe place to stop and get some familiar food before getting back on the road. It's located in a large shopping area with plenty of parking and well the area is pretty empty too. We never thought we'd have so many difficulties. There were plenty of hosts to help us to our seats quickly. That was probably the only positive comment I could say about our experience. Our server was soft spoken and seemed attentive at first. He brought out our nacho appetizer. Their nachos are made on each chip and even though we expected the usual nachos considering it's named "classic nachos" we let it be. I just wanted extra jalapenos to jazz up my 2 chips I was going to have. They hadn't set the table with small plates or utensils either. I had to ask for a small plate and then ask for the jalapenos which never came around and my nacho chips had already cooled and gotten soggy. The restaurant is slowly getting more crowded at this point and the service slows down even more. It could be that the service was slow so the restaurant started piling up too. But we waited it seemed like forever to get our food. Something must have happened in the kitchen because no one was getting food and the servers were pretty much standing around. it had to be close to an hour before we got our food. And after all that waiting, my order was incorrect. It was pretty close, but I had specifically ordered a chicken club because I wanted my sandwich to have bacon and avocado. After waving down our server to let him know, I decided I really didn't want to wait anymore considering the rest of my party was already half way done with their meal and I had gotten a side of mac and cheese that I was picking at, but I had already set it aside to pack up because it wasn't as great as I had wanted it. At this point of our experience, I requested to speak to the manager. It didn't seem to do us any good to interact with our server. He seemed to think we were a problematic table and started to avoid us. The manager comes out and was very understanding and he offers to take the sandwich off our bill yet have one made for us to take with us for the inconvenience. He tried to give us a dessert but since we didn't want any sweets he also said he would take care of something else on the bill to be considerate. We were pleased with his take charge attitude and waited to get our bill so we could get out of there. When our server brought over the bill with the correct sandwich takeout, the sandwich was still on the bill and he had discounted one of the other entrees. The server thought that was generous enough and was irritated that I brought up what the manager had told us he would do. The second time the manager came out he wasn't as pleasant but it was the principle of the fact he said he would take care of the sandwich and along with something else on the bill so I wanted to make sure it was handled that way. The manager probably had other tables to tend to by the time he was called back to us so he was more irritated about having to tend to all of the issues in the restaurant. Maybe it's the area and service should be slow and people don't care if they don't get the right order, but I did not appreciate it at all. And it sucks that even though they tried to fix the problem and I wanted to be grateful, they screwed that up too. read more

This place is horrible!! From the hostess greeting you with a yawn to the atmosphere to the waitress Rene. Total time we waited for our food to never get there, 40 minutes! Renee mest up our order of 2 waters and 1 kids juice and 1 kids soda. Also, one would think a waitress at a restaurant where she is employed would know what's on their menu, nope! I order a light choice and she was offering me something else with a bunch of extras....um, I'm trying to eat healthy. ..lol. Anyways, we ended up leaving without eating because our food never came. This review is for the pick up. My husband placed our order online. That was very easy. He then left 5 minute later to pick up our food. We live 2 miles from this location. He was back on a half hour with my lighter side Mango Chicken with rice and broccoli. It was less than temperate. This is the second time we have done a to go order and both times the food was cold- not warm- cold. We did appleby's a few days ago and the food was still warm when my husband came home with it. The food is good but I hate cold food! Last time I ordered a sandwich and the cheese was that gross, cold and hard because it was hit at one time. Tonight has been tough. I came with a friend and my 11 month old child. I was offered to sit in a booth in a dining room. Perfect. The server came to get our drink order so we asked for 2 drinks from the Happy Hour menu. The server said Happy Hour is only in the bar area. So I said I would check to see if there were tables in the bar area. There were none to be utilized. So, I went back to the table and informed the server there were no seats and he said sorry but that's where Happy Hour is and that Happy Hour is only in the bar because that's how the bar staff makes their money. What??? By now...it's 6:45pm. We are losing time. So I asked him to check with a manager. I felt I was being punished for bringing my child with me. Server came back and said the manager made an exception. Nice. I then ordered Mac and Cheese for the baby. I asked for it to come out first. 25mims later, fajitas came out. I said to the food runner, "what about the Mac and cheese?" and they said it was on the way out. That's not coming out first. And my 11 month old takes a while to eat Mac and cheese as to why I wanted it first. The server apologized for the long wait (awesome) but then screwed homself by saying.."Sorry for the long wait, it's because they were confused since they thought you were in the bar area." What??? I mean...are we that much of an inconvienence to you? Why does everything referance me not sitting in the bar? I'm sorry I ruined your evening server by sitting in YOUR section....getting you the SALE...giving you the opportunity to upsell me something (which you didn't)....you didn't tour the menu with me...did not tell me the specials...didn't offer me your favorite dish...etc. If you can't tell..I manage a restaurant...where are your steps of service? By far the best experience I've had at chili's! Our waitress, Gina, was phenomenal as usual. My family has been coming here for years and Gina has always provided us with exceptional service and great conversation. Now as far as food goes, the new sunrise burger that my boyfriend and I split was out of this world!!! The featured grass fed patty was flavorful and juicy-just how a burger should be. Last night we went and sat in the bar. They didn't have anything I asked for to drink other than iced tea. I paid the bill at the table. The bill was $69 for 4 people. I didn't even think twice about it until I realized this morning that we didn't really have that much. My husband had a few drinks and wings, my son 1 drink, me some iced tea and there was also a water. I looked at the receipt this morning and it turns out they charged me for the things I ordered but they didn't have as well as a premium for crown whiskey when my husband was drinking a cheaper Bacardi and diet. Total was $22 higher than we should have paid. This would not be a big deal but they refuse to correct the situation. Palmdale has come a long way, might be different for people who show up with kids or a large party the reviews might be different. Service at the bar was great and food was good. I think if you improve on customer service and food quality you'll be good to go. Also, offer seating alternatives to people with kids who have autism.
