Veteran's Day Nightmare. Incompetent Hostess's. The hostess is in charge of maintaining order in that lobby. I have a service dog. Other veterans cut in front of me, the lobby was shoulder to shoulder. There was no order whatsoever. Not a single staff member made an effort to talk to the guests... They only talked to guests when the guest approached the Hostess stand. I could not get through the lobby to her stand to get seated... at least with my dog. yes, the staff is incompetent, but I am more upset at the behavior of the veterans treating it like Black Friday and screwing over your fellow veteran. I tried 4 separate times to get to the hostess stand. I called the hostess stand and explained that I had a service dog and that I was trying to get inside and speak with the hostess... But the Lobby is too crowded for me to approach. She said you will just have to wait. Disappointed in the dehumanization of togo orders. I walked in the front door expecting someone to say hi or hello, Instead I apparently bothered the hostess who said, "how many", I said I actually was hoping to make an order to go, she said, you will need to go to that room back there, pointed to the delivery pick up area. Ok, I went back there, the lady who was nice, asked the name for pick up, again no Hi, hello, just what do you want attitude. Again, I would like to place an order to go. What would you like? Me: maybe a menu? Oh, here you go, I will be back in a few minutes. Ok. Meanwhile, this area is freezing, door dashers coming and going. I asked the staff at the bar "if I sit here, pointed to a booth can you take my order?" He said, yeah you can sit there Stephanie will be with you. I thought, ok. Then I decided to go to the front door again and ask for a manager. I explained, I wanted to sit down, order a drink, and place an order to go.I told him what I already experienced, so he STOOD at the podium, took my order and said I will go get your drink. He comes back, hands me a drink and says I can sit on the seats by the door. Again. Can I sit at a table so I can set my things down, do some work and drink my soda. He was clearly anoid and directed me to the first booth as you walk in the door. I sat, took a few calls, then he comes back sat the bag with my food on the table, turns the little pay device toward me. I again mentioned to him that all I wanted was service. I look at multiple computer screens all day, talk on the phone all day, is it too much to go to a restaurant and have someone wait on you while you wait for your togo order? They ask for a tip, but do not want to provide service. I will post a picture of my rare fajita meat, it was pretty gross. This was the most disappointing experience I have had. If you ask for a tip, at least provide customer service. Sure the chips are paper thin and the salsa is watered down, but the bottomless option means that if you are unable to escape the town, at least you'll soon die of cardiac arrest and have a shot of being reincarnated in a better town like Oakland or Des Moines. I have always liked Chili's "Old Time burger". Took my Mom there the other night. Another customer brought in his very friendly and uncontrolled boxer into the Restaurant. It proceeded to jump on my Mom who was in a wheel chair. The dog Was trying to lick my Mom. It's owner was doing very little to control the dog. When we addressed the manager, Jennifer Salazar, with our request the dog be Removed from the restaurant, she said she couldn't because she didn't know the Dog wasn't a service dog and she couldn't ask the owner the question. My concern is that the dog wasn't wearing any identification that she was a service animal. Colorado law allows "service animals" in facilities. They accompany their owners, Sit quietly under the table, and don't jump on customers. Colorado law PROHIBITS pet owners from bringing animals into businesses if they are not certified service animals. Emotional support pets are NOT service animals. If I wanted to dinner with animals, I would have stayed home. Since Ms. Salazar's policy is that patrons may bring in their pets while they dine, this restaurant will not see me again. read more

Our family loves Chili's but we know that some locations suck and some are great. (We are from North Carolina and eat there quite often). This one was really good, mostly because our server was fantastic. I think her name was Hailey. There was about an hour wait (!) so we ran to Walmart and back and then our table was ready. I ordered a meal with my coworker 2 for 25( wich wasn't the case try 2 for $40). Anyway I ordered a medium well steak mashed potatoes street corn and a sprite. I came to the Chili's here in Pueblo while I was visiting my daughter. She insists on chain restaurants because she likes the food loves the games they have. I won't lie, I have become a bit of a food snob since moving to Washington DC. With that said, It's probably apparent I usually do not patronize chains. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the 2-star rating on Yelp. While reading the other reviews I noticed the poor reviews came from individuals who rarely leave them. The more positive reviews came from more avid Yelpers. That made me realize this place suffers from unfortunately what many other chains do.... People that only leave bad reviews. I realize it will likely not hurt business here, however it is clearly unfair. I felt compelled to leave a review because I had a great experience here. We arrived around lunch on Sunday and were greeted by a friendly host who promptly seated us. We were then subsequently greeted by our server Gabe who was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and very attentive. He gave great recommendations and stayed attentive to my daughter and I even when he had two tables with 8-10 people. He was wonderful, although I observed the rest of the staff and they upheld the same standard as our server... Simply amazing. They have an all-day HH on Sunday which should be taken advantage of, especially for football season. One of my favorites it the Presidente Margarita for $6. We had the chips and salsa for the appetizer. I must say they have amazing in-house chips. For the entree I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex bowl. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and chipotle pesto was amazing! I seriously wish I would have taken some to go. My daughter had the pizza with pineapple.... and fresh (not from the can) pineapple! The prices were reasonable and the service was impeccable.
