Service is usually good. Once we were served by a woman with green hair (used to describe her) and she was the reason we avoided this location for a while. I have been coming to chili's since I was a kid so I knew what I wanted to order. She tried to get me to order the fajitas for two claiming its the same amount of food. I kept saying no I want the three combo fajitas and she kept insisting I order the fajitas for two acting like my coworker and I were on a date or were married (we're not) after the third time I relented. Now if it's horrible like that all the time the stars would be less than 3. One other issue is they have issues with the grill or don't have enough beef for the night. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Waited one and a half hours for food. 2 fajitas that were over cooked. One steak that was supposed to be rare, that was super well done. Came in around 8 PM after a day of travel. Wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. It was later in the night, but they didn't close until 10 so no excuse for food not to be fresh. Ordered a quesadilla explosion salad and could barely get two bites down. The cheese quesadilla must have been sitting out under a heat lamp all day because they tasted burnt and were hard as a rock, but did not look burnt. The kids meals had about five french fries each. I told my server about the salad and clearly I did not eat, barely any of it (honestly maybe one bite in all) she said she would tell her manager. Manager never came to the table to talk to me, but then server told me her manager will take it off the bill. Instead, she ended up taking a small percentage off the bill. Again, no one communicated this to me, so I sat at the table with my three little children who were being very patient but ready for bed, for at least 15 to 20 minutes before getting up to try and find someone. All the servers were back in the kitchen, talking amongst themselves. A few looked at me and completely ignored me. I had to walk up to somebody else to get the attention of my server. It was the most frustrating how to eat experience I've ever had. They were definitely not busy so there's no reason the manager could not have come and spoken with me or service could have been much better and much faster. read more

This was the single most horrible experience I've ever had. I was with other parents from our baseball travel team, in all it was a party of 8. As soon as the hostess heard it was a party of 8 she was irritated told us it would be a 2 minute wait we said that was fine because the others were on their way. We decided to go to the bar and order a drink while we waited. After taking our order the bartender said the child (14) was not allowed at the bar not even to just wait with us. He moved to a side table across the bar against a wall to wait. The bartender then said the hostess would probably tell him to move away. As soon as he got the words out the hostess approached my friends son and asked him if he was waiting on a table he was confused and said no and she told him he would have to leave then. I turned around and told her we are getting drinks while we wait on our table, with complete attitude she told us we could not sit at that table that it was in "rotation" like we were suppose to know what that meant. I told his mother I would pay for the drinks so she could go sit with her son and wait for the others on the benches. As I returned another mother and her son had arrived. We were all sitting in the front area waiting at this point it was 15 to 20 minutes in the last of our party arrived with their son. The boys were sitting there talking about baseball and on their phones the parents were talking. The hostess came over and told us she was still waiting on a table to sit us there wasn't one big enough to sit us all. We offered that she could put the boys in a booth and us at a table across from them if that was easier, and her responds was, "It's not". She told us our 14 year old boys were not allowed to sit away from us, we were all confused because they would literally be right across from us. She took off to ask her manager if the boys would be able to sit at a booth alone. When she came back the manager was with her. The manager asked what kind of problem we had. We were all like well we were trying to see if the boys could sit at a booth and we could sit at a table. The manager look really mad and said no the problem with my staff what problem do you have with my staff? We all looked confused because none of us knew what she was talking about. Then the manager proceeded to tell us the hostess told her we were making fun of her bartenders sexuality. We were all dumbfounded, because 1 no we were not and 2 the hostess wasn't even in close enough proximity to hear anything we were talking about. The hostess also accused the boys cursing toward a server. We had not seen one server since arriving because we never left the waiting area. After the manager could clearly tell we had no idea what the hell she was talking about she told us she could seat us only if we "behaved". At that point she had lost me and the other parents. There was no way I was giving any more money to that place. We all left after the manager proceeded to "yell" at us. That was the most craziest thing I've ever experienced at any eating establishment. We left went across the street to Olive Garden were we were comped our appetizers for the 2 minute wait we had for getting us seated. The waitress went above and beyond serving us and making sure we had any and everything we needed especially bring out the one gluten free dinner we needed (which was the only reason we went to Chili's). The manager came straight to our table and apologized again for the long (2minute) wait and hoped we enjoyed our meal. We ALWAYS stop at this Chilis on our way home from Cedar Point! This location doesn't always get a great review, but it's a chain restaurant, and it's always been good....hence why we keep coming back. Happy Hours appetizers and drink specials are on point. Margaritas for $4, including an extra shaker. You can't beat the deal. We had the spicy shrimp tacos...hold the cheese please and of course they came with cheese, but an easy fix. My husband had the loaded burger and no complaints. We will be bs k the next time we head this way. read more

Hours on Yelp indicate the restaurant closes at 11 p.m. Arrived at 9:25 and was told that I couldn't be seated because they close at 10 and there were three people on a waiting list in front of me. They must have been invisible, because there was no one else waiting in the restaurant to be seated. So I went across the street and spent my money at Olive Garden where I was greeted by a friendly hostess, promptly seated (they close at 10 as welll), and served by an outstanding and very friendly waitress. read more

Staying at the Kalahari Resort for the night and didn't want to spend tons of money on their overpriced food, so, went to Chili's and had my expectations blown out the water. All my other experiences have been very underwhelming, tried Chili's for the first time in Michigan and their Mango Habanero chicken strip things were awful; then the Chili's in Canton, OH gave me a lackluster overcooked cheeseburger. This place however gave my partner and I our food at an extremely fast time as well as [at least in my case] a perfect burger and side of fries. The server we also got was full of extroverted positive energy and constantly checked on us and gave us updates on our food/drinks. Wish I got his name so I could publicly compliment him...the little kiosk we paid on had the name "Ryan" at the bottom left so maybe that was his name? I don't know, delicious quick meal and really nice server. Only complaint: The host that gave us our 10-15 minute wait time took my name and number and while my partner and I say in our cars waiting; almost 20 minutes went by with no text of any kind so I went in to see if maybe the number they had was wrong or something but turns out the host simply clocked out and forgot to text us that a table was open. read more

After a whole day of walking around at that big giant theme park in a island nearby. Screaming your lungs off can definitely get a whole group famished. It's also only proper to fill up the belly for our 3hr ride back to Detroit of course. Presidente Margarita: a little on the sour side. Wasn't very strong either. Chips and Guac: Very Yummy Prime Rib Bowl: flavors were amazing. A bit meager. I felt as if i didn't munch of the chips and Guac I would be left hungry still.I'm Prime Rib Tacos: This one was really good. Although I felt like it's basically the bowl just in taco form. Every time I go to this place I get a blue lagoon drink and it Always has a bug in it including flies and mats and when I get a new one it always has the same thing Nate and flies. My service is always good and I love it but it's the drinks.I couldn't enjoy my Birthday because my ice cream and cookie had hairs in it yes hairs but not any type of black hair or something but it was orange,pink and blue. The restrooms are always dirty I recommend a cleaner every time because it always dirty.I get it the service is good the food taste good but the rest is just bad. read more

My pregnant wife and I walk in to Chili's where we are greeted by two employees. The restaurant had several opened tables, even by Covid standards, they were empty. One of the employees (I'm assuming) was a manager, and the other had her belly hanging out the bottom of her shirt. The manager asked how many, my wife said "two please" and the manager walked away. A few minutes go by, and the other employee finally asks if we need help. Confused we informed her that we thought the other employee had gone to get a table, we weren't sure what was happening. We were told she was just heading to the back, and that is when the following conversation happened. Employee: it'll be a 20 minute wait Wife: really? Is the bar area open seating? Employee: no At this time three tables walk out. Wife: is there an opening now that they left? Employee: No Wife: what if the table was bused? Employee: I'm not cleaning it Wife: I'm not saying you.... how long do you think now that they left? Employee: Still 20 minutes. Obviously there's people ahead of you (the lobby was empty). Wife: nevermind, we'll go somewhere else Employee: Bye We went here because we got a gift card as a baby shower gift, and now we never want to go back. We understand businesses having issues with Covid; but when your restaurant is empty, and customer service is as important as it is, why would you EVER put someone that is rude, short, and lacking any ability to communicate effectively as your hostess? I order the Chili... WOW i guess it would have been good if it were supposed to be water with 2 beans and 1 small piece of meat. This place did not even come close to living up to their standards. My family has been coming to this Chili's for years, my nine-year-old has ASD and chiles as one of his saved restaurants. Lately everything has been horrible, they're out of everything you try to order and I reached out to corporate and they apologized explained that there's been management changes and offered us a be our guest Ticket to go eat on them. So a couple nights ago our family of four went back to our trusty chilies and we ordered our favorites. And everything was perfect. Maybe the new manager is getting things in order but I can tell you for sure there is a waitress named Renee who is amazing at her job and was even compassionate to my sons special food needs. I'm standing here checking in!! She will add you to the list and tell you to wait outside!!! She will then remove your name from her list without warning but blame you for doing it! The Edentulous manager will apologize and tell you he will take care of you! All this means folks is he will walk away and do nothing about the problem and he won't help you on the slightest! They can't seem to get their kitchen staff together and it's effecting DoorDashers very negatively

we were told they are understaffed, but they're were more staff that could've been serving, including the manager and hostess. Also one of the servers was just talking to their friends and on their phone, whist they were supposed to be working. NOT ON THEIR BREAK. And not checking on his tables. We were I my seated after we asked how long was left, coincidence? I think not! However our waitress was very attentive, and helpful all around. The food was also good, considering low staff. I walked in the door at 11:49 AM, according to my phone. There was not an employee in sight. After a couple minutes, the bartender came out, but she didn't look my way at all. I stood there a little longer when another customer came in behind me. Being ignored in a restaurant is a pet peeve of mine, so I turned around and walked out.
