    Chicken fajitas
    Eric O.

Monday evening early dinner. I ordered the chicken fajitas. They came out quickly. Hot sizzling goodness. I do think the chicken could have had more seasoning, but it was still good. My waitress did an excellent job. I did see a sign on the door advising reduced hours. The waitress mentioned they were short staffed.

We ALWAYS stop at this Chilis on our way home from Cedar Point! This location doesn't always get a great review, but it's a chain restaurant, and it's always been good....hence why we keep coming back. Happy Hours appetizers and drink specials are on point. Margaritas for $4, including an extra shaker. You can't beat the deal. We had the spicy shrimp tacos...hold the cheese please and of course they came with cheese, but an easy fix. My husband had the loaded burger and no complaints. We will be bs k the next time we head this way.

Staying at the Kalahari Resort for the night and didn't want to spend tons of money on their overpriced food, so, went to Chili's and had my expectations blown out the water. All my other experiences have been very underwhelming, tried Chili's for the first time in Michigan and their Mango Habanero chicken strip things were awful; then the Chili's in Canton, OH gave me a lackluster overcooked cheeseburger. This place however gave my partner and I our food at an extremely fast time as well as [at least in my case] a perfect burger and side of fries. The server we also got was full of extroverted positive energy and constantly checked on us and gave us updates on our food/drinks. Wish I got his name so I could publicly compliment him...the little kiosk we paid on had the name "Ryan" at the bottom left so maybe that was his name? I don't know, delicious quick meal and really nice server. Only complaint: The host that gave us our 10-15 minute wait time took my name and number and while my partner and I say in our cars waiting; almost 20 minutes went by with no text of any kind so I went in to see if maybe the number they had was wrong or something but turns out the host simply clocked out and forgot to text us that a table was open.

Their mozzarella sticks suck. If you're a mozzarella stick connoisseur go across the street to Applebee's.

The host was manager when we visited and we were sat quickly. The server Maddie was polite, friendly, and quick to serve, she had at least 5 tables and was quick on her feet for refills, sauces, and service. We started with the spicy chicken bites. They tasted fresh, had a great crunch, with excellent flavor. If you are a fan of spicy this is on a 2 to 5 scale. You also are served fresh bread made in house with butter. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken / half rack of ribs. They have a combo style for ordering and you can swap things if you'd like, for the price it's great to try something new. The chicken was made perfect. I ended up having to finish the ribs at home, once again, perfect. Yes you could get something more "affordable" but for a date night, or you want to enjoy yourself, the quality is there. We made sure to ask for a manager (if they weren't busy!) to let them know they did a great job. I threw him through a loop with, "If I was in prison for 20 years I would want this exact plate coming out". Thanks for being a good sport and keeping up with Longhorn. We will be back !

Ince the food was ordered it took another 30 min...we didn't mind as we were catching up but...when the food got there, two of the meals were overcooked and cold. We complained, manager came and said he would take care of the overcooked/cold meals. When the checks came, we got charged regular prices...wtf? Had to remind them to get one meal taken off. Didn't even bother to give them my Longhorn card to get my points, that's how disappointed I was.

This is a super cool public market hall in downtown Sandusky with maybe 15ish (just a guess) local businesses like a bakery, bowling alley, axe throwing game space, ice cream shop and boutiques. This is a cool place to spend an hour or two just browsing and supporting local while grabbing some dessert. The building has some type of history to it which I was unable to readily find online (boo, that is so odd). But the history is paid homage in the design of this space, with old timey photos of Sandusky and Cedar Point blown up on the walls and little stories to accompany them. The design is actually brilliant. It's a cool mixture of old school heritage meets modern rustic vibes. It makes you want to stop and look. The businesses in this building are open during the pandemic, just make sure to check with each business directly before visiting as most of the hours are likely changed. I stopped by here extremely quickly (I do not go out much during the pandemic) to pick up some pre-paid birthday treats from Bake Erie. It has a spacious, accessible parking lot and is just a joy to browse. Check it out for yourself, than continue exploring the surrounding area of local businesses... and Lake Erie :)

We came during peak dinner hours and waited ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. The place isn't too large, and given how good the food is, I can see why there could be a wait. We decided on the jalapeno poppers (June special), onion rings, lemon pepper wings, and two burgers with fries (BBQ ranch jalapeno burger - June special, Hot N' Spicy burger) all to share. Plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to share! We all agreed everything was delicious. The poppers come out super hot, so definitely wait a little to bite into them. Onion rings perfectly cooked and crispy. Wings were plump and had good lemon flavor to them. Both burgers were juicy, but of the two enjoyed the Hot N' Spicy more. Service is friendly and attentive. She let us know what they were known for (wings and burgers and their rotating specials) and gave my indecisive mind plenty of time to figure out what I wanted. Everything sounded so good! We settled for the golden bbq wings and classic pretzel bites for appetizers. The wings were great and that sauce was delicious! Wish we could find something similar in Seattle. The pretzel bites were good but we were already getting full. He got the Uncle Charlie burger which he liked but said it was a bit messy. He also said the maple sauce on it was unique and a little overpowering. I built my own burger and kept it simple with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar. It was really good but I wish I didn't get so full on appetizers so I could finish it. I really liked the pickles that they served as a garnish. A little sweet and spicy action going on. Also the fries are hot and crispy and some of my favorite I've had anywhere. I wish this gem was in Seattle. It seems like a great place to grab a seat at the bar and watch sports on their televisions. They also have some tables available if you want to sit there too. I also liked that one of the tv's showed pictures of their specials. I wish I could go back and try some of their other items. The wraps and sandwiches looked really tasty and I love the uniqueness of some of their combos. If you're in the area and want some delicious food served with a friendly smile, stop in.
