The service and food continues to decline at the Searcy location. Last experience there was on Mother's Day after the rush was over and it was the worst experience I've had there. Service always seems slow but it took an hour from walking in the door to food on the table (and we didn't wait for a table). Food was subpar. Ugh. We have always wanted to try Chili's, I wish we had tried it somewhere else besides Searcy. They were busy but the host cleaned a table for us pretty quickly. Too quickly actually, there were CHUNKS of food still on it. I'm pretty sympathetic to busy servers and bussers so I wiped them off with my napkin. Our server was really friendly and got our drink order right away. My hubby ordered the Sirloin medium well and I ordered the Rib Steak medium rare. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. About 35 minutes later we got our food. The server said she would be right back with a missing side dish of mashed potatoes, then left. The first thing I noticed was my husband's plate. It had obviously sat on the cook line for a long time. Juice from his steak was dried on the plate and the Broccoli was wilted and dry, the steak was shriveled and dry... yuck! Then I looked at my steak. The cook committed a cardinal sin, he had made a big cut in my steak to check the temp. This is the mark of someone who shouldn't be on the broiler. You never cut a hot steak to check the temp, send that guy back to training! Because the steak was cut on the broiler, it bled, then the server left our food sitting forever. What I got was a well done, dry, ruined $18 dollar plate. Hot lights on the line only keep food warm for 5 minutes, our plates were probably in the window for 15 minutes. We let the server know when she finally came back with our missing side dish. She apologized, sent the manager over (all this time the mgr was on the floor bussing and didn't notice a table waiting that long for food...?). The manager offered to replace the dishes but we were so hungry we declined and went to Sonic, got a couple of dogs and went to our hotel. The managers approach was super smooth, like she's so used to saying the words, it's automatic. The cooks here need to be trained, they're cooking with no clue. The server who also messed up was very quick to blame the kitchen. This place is a hot mess, I'll try a different Chili's sometime, but never again in Searcy. read more

Place was not busy and no one greeted us for at least 5 minutes. Ordered our food from a haft interested waitress. The food that came out was cold and actually heard another customer complaint about the same thing. The fact that my sons kids meal didn't come at all was even more frustrating. I love the food but the service is horrible! Especially when you order food to go. Once upon a time, there would be a bell go off when you opened the door when you picked up your to go order, and now there is no way to let any of the wait staff know you're out there waiting! The food was decent but literally took forever. You would have thought that no one was working there. No one asked if we needed anything, for refills, but the servers were having a good time laughing and playing in the back. Let me start out by saying that I had basically stopped going to this Chili's location. I mostly used the call in to go option and it had gotten horrible. Most of the time they would never even answer the phone!! Then when they did and took my order it had gotten to the point that it would take forever. Sometimes my sides would not be correct, or one time my entree was wrong. The attitude of the staff was not good. It was a bad experience and I stopped using Chilis to go altogether. Well, tonight, July 13, 2017 I decide to try it again for some reason. I talked to a lovely and super friendly young lady named Paige Nugent (wonder if she's kin to Uncle Ted Nugent?) she was a pure joy to talk to. She took my order and made me look forward to seeing her in person! Well, when I did, she was doubly as pleasant and represented Chili's Bar & Grill like a PRO! My order was perfect. Hot. Portions were back to normal size (the portion sizes have been sporadic in the last 6 months) all my sides were in their own containers and not scattered together on top of each other in the same styrofoam container. It was an absolutely uplifting experience compared to what it had sunk to in the last 6 months or so. Well, I asked Paige if management had changed and she said YES!! She said Cameron Lumley is the new manager from Jonesboro location. I want to applaud Chili's for making this move and bringing back the Chili's I had come to love over the years. All my friends and family love Chili's every time we go out of town we always have to stop. I've always have had good service and quick. The food is always hot and fresh. The food is okay. Not outstanding, not awful. The problem is with the service. If you call in an order for pickup, be prepared to wait. I once waited 45 minutes in store for CHEESE DIP after waiting the recommended 20 minutes to even leave for the restaurant. After that, I didn't go back to Chili's in Searcy or order to go for at least three months. Last week I ordered a triple dipper with boneless buffalo wings and southwestern eggrolls and waited 30 minutes before getting to the store to pick up my order (after being told on the phone it would only take 15 minutes) and then waked in store for an additional 30 minutes. Not really impressed with this chilis. My husband and I love their chicken pasta and ribs normally. This is the first time at this location. We normally go to either Jacksonville or nrl location. We had seats by the kitchen and we kept hearing someone shout for runners all day--when we received our food we could tell why-our food was cold. The fries were soggy and old and the pasta had a crust. The garlic bread was tough and cold. Not impressed at all with this location. Will continue to go to another location. read more

Be very careful. They charge you for playing the games on the tabletop device, but we saw no notice of that anywhere. The waitress rushed through the payment screen so quickly we didn't notice they had charged for salads which should have been included in the price of the meal. I arrived 35 minutes later and stood in the " to go" area for 15 minutes before finally stepping to the cooking area because none of the waitresses came near this area. My husband and I went to chilis on a Friday night at 7:30. We knew what we wanted immediately and ordered when our drink order was put in. It took an hour and a half to get our food and we even had to ask for our dessert to be put in a to go box because it was taking so long. Our waiter was very nice and apologetic the whole time and he seemed confused why the food service was so bad. On top of that my chicken quesadilla salad was cold, lettuce old and soggy like it had been sitting in dressing all evening. I had to send it back. Ok so 10 of us went to Chilis last night to celebrate a friends BD. Want to say first off that the server (Donovan)was awsome. We joked around with him the whole time and he just laughed and kept doing a great job. But let me tell you about the bad part of this visit!! When we sat down he told us first off there was a few things they were out of (mind you on a slow Tuesday night!!! ) In all It ended up being 6 items and those items were pasta, fish, chili, sour cream sauce, kiwi and they were out of hamburger buns but he informed us they ran to McDonalds and borrowed buns from them!!! Of course at that point we just burst out laughing and joked about how we could just order a Big Mac now !!! Seriously come on someone is dropping the ball here!!!!! My husband and I ordered to go from here and it was not satisfactory. We filled out a survey and specified our issue. We were then sent $25 in gift cards. We tried to go again, and the same thing happened. We received another $25, after someone from the company called and basically begged us to give them another shot. We decided to dine in tonight. I love Searcy's Chili's. Granted, it is not the best of all the Chili's, but to me it is the best tex-mex restaurant I have ever eaten at. Personally, I like the baby back ribs and the fajitas. Usually it is busy when I go but it is always worth the wait because of the great food. The servers are always great and I usually enjoy mine as they are very friendly. Never again!! Food was late. Food was cold. Service was lousy. Bathrooms were dirty. They were not busy.

We had dinner there tonight. We ordered the chips and salsa. The salsa was watered down. I ask waitress to replace it and she said, " I'm sorry but that's all we have right now." The manager came over with another cup of salsa but it wasn't much thicker. The waitress came back and told us that management said too much food was being wasted and told them to water down the salsa. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
