This entire review is basically about the disgustingly rude, condescending, negative energy having, smart alec manager, "LOU" -- His nasty attitude and COMPLETE LACK or customer service is why I am good on ever visiting this location again. Oddly enough, I am visiting in Burlington and nothing is really open late, so I went to chilis two nights in a row after work because nothing else was open. The first time, service, food and drinks were fine. Second night, we sit down, customer service is great, drinks come out, we get maybe two sips before one of the servers comes out in a panic saying that there's an electrical fire in the kitchen and everyone needs to evacuate asap!! Everyone goes outside and waits for the fire dept. the fire dept comes but they don't clear the fire. An employee (whom I thought was the manager because he was making announcements) says that they're probably going to have to close for the night and he apologies. This is after waiting 15 to 20 mins outside. He tells me that he'll give a $25 gift card for the inconvenience and to just call or come back by. I called but no answer. I come by today and explain all of this to the hostess who then offers to get the MOD. LOU comes out and just stands at the host stand like a jackazz. No hello or anything so I assume he's just there looking for something. He literally SAYS NOTHING TO ME but is shuffling through menus. I ask him if he's the manager, he says "YEA" with a terrible attitude but says nothing else. I ask if the young lady told him what happened or if u should start from the beginning. He says, "she said you want a gift card" -- again with a nasty attitude. I then smile to suppress my complete irritation because he's being a jerk for no reason. I explained the situation again and before I could finish he cuts me off and says "I can give you a $5 gift card. Two of them." I'm like, are you okay? Do these come out of your check? It's a lot of huffing and puffing and disgusting looks for no reason. Anyway... I left the $5 gift card on the counter and told him to have a nice day. If you hate your job, Lou... quit! Also, Chili's needs to do some random drug and alcohol screening... Lou doesn't seem well. read more

Pretty average corporate experience. Decent food, love the triple dipper. Meg was our server and she was incredibly friendly. Very quick with drinks, socialized a lot, and checked on us frequently. My recent review was taken down by corporate. I walked in with a friend and there were two diners at two tables. The place was empty. There were three people at the host table including a manager, Timmy. The host told us it woud be 15-20 minutes to be seated. We laughed and walked out. We went across the street to Longhorn Steakhouse where it was super busy and we got a table immediately. The service was great and we had a great meal. The service at Chili's is a joke. Normally, I love a Chili's--the food, the atmosphere, the affordability. All of it. But this Chili's is different. Something is off. I think perhaps a witch's curse has befallen this Chili's. I am lucky to say I have a very beautiful girlfriend. She has the kind of jaw-dropping beauty where you wonder if there's something mentally wrong with her for dating a weird-looking freak like me. She loves Chili's even more than I do, and she got mozzarella sticks and baby back ribs. Sounds good, right? WRONG. DEAD WRONG. She didn't eat much and was full after eating the mozzarella sticks and a rib. So she took the rest to go. Little did she know that this cursed Chili's was about to ruin her. Shortly after her meal, she started feeling sick. And it was to the point where the car she was in had to pull over and she threw up! Normally, Chili's has her feeling better than ever. Some might say she gains superhuman abilities from eating at Chili's. But this Chili's? Something evil is afoot. It corrupted her body and even though she remains the most beautiful girl in the world, she feels terrible on the inside. Food was delicious as always and our server really went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time! They did not have a salad dressing one of my dining partners wanted, but he brought out a bunch of ingredients for her to make her own. I've never dine here before the pandemic. I first came in December 2021 and most recently in April 2022 and the main problem this restaurant is having, along with many others in the area, is the staff shortages. Be prepared to wait a long time if you want to dine in. The restaurant seems to be operating at like 1/4 of its capacity so even though there are enough tables for everyone who comes in, there's always a line because they can only seat so many depending on how many servers are working. The first time we came in December we were able to get seated quickly around lunch time at the bar - you would have to wait over an hour for a table otherwise. The second time around, we came prepared, and arrived right at opening (11am) and luckily our party of 4 was able to get seated at a table and served right away. The menu had more options compared to the previous time. Our waiter was actually the bartender since we were seated in his area, the gentleman was very friendly and made some good suggestions. We ordered a variety of foods, ribs, bbq plater, cheeseburger, and chicken quesadillas. Everything was quite delicious, the only thing that needed improvement were the ribs which weren't as tender as we would have liked. In terms of quality/price/portion, I think Chilis is a very reasonable choice. We were all full and you're able to get many tasty options for under $15. I sure hope they can be up and running at full capacity again, we would definitely come back since the menu is very appealing however you just have to keep in mind these days there are long wait times everywhere. I suggest showing up right at opening, or giving yourself an extra hour to shop around the area before you eat- you can always give your name and come back later. read more

Got on the wait list and was told we could go outside and wait, no text after 40 min so we go inside and everyone was seated we were waiting with and already done eating, clearly didn't get any text, so they finally seat us and we get our food, it was terrible, I couldn't even finish it, the Nashville hot sauce was gritty from how much spice was in it, soaked in grease, chicken wasn't crispy at all and drenched in sauce. The food was ehh- okay. The main reason for the two stars was how dirty the place was. The table was sticky. Floors were sticky and gross. Our shoes were sticking to them as we walked and the bathroom was was well.... DISGUSTING! It's like they don't have any employees that cleaned it. Ever! My child was going to the bathroom when a chunk fell on her lap and we look up and it came from the above fan. I hate to say it but if they can't keep a bathroom looking presentable and common floor areas clean and not sticky I honestly could only imagine what their kitchen looks like and feel disgusted knowing I ate their food. Website says they're open until 11pm on Saturday but they actual close at 10pm. I found this out as they turned away a couple who walked in at 930 and heard them be told the kitchen was closed. I quickly placed my order, the triple dipper but was informed by the bartender that they don't offer it. He went back to the kitchen and returned informing me that both his managers were cooking and they wouldn't make it because they opened today and are still here. I'll give it the 2 stars because the waitress did a good job even though she was slammed. Everyone on the line who had anything to do with the steak I was served deserves to be fired though. It was terrible. Undercooked on one side, dead and grey on the other. Looked to have been thrown on the grill frozen likely. No crust at all. Plate covered in juice because it wasn't left to rest. Absolutely the worst steak I've ever been served. I paid my tab and left without even taking a bite. I will never be back. My complaint is about the grub hub driver who delivered because I ordered through yelp and it showed me an hour window when it would be delivered and I never got a call or text saying it was here and they didn't knock on my door either. I couldn't find where to get ahold of yelp or grub hub customer service to let them know this happened either. I found a number but sitting on hold for 10 minutes I hung up. This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to since coming out east. As soon as you open the door, there's a smell of something really really off and really really bad that hits you like a 10 lb hammer. The smell is overwhelming. I didn't have a chance to walk out before the hostess asked how many for lunch, I figured what the heck and said just me. She then says it's 20 to 30 minute wait for a table. I look around and there's not one single table with anyone sitting at it, the restaurant is nearly empty besides a few people at the bar. I said, how is that possible? the restaurant looked empty. She said it's because they only have one waitress scheduled for the whole day so she can only do one table at a time and they're only seating one table at a time. The plates we were given were dirty. It's chili's- so expect chili's.... but also EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is literally worth all the stars to me. This chili's makes their menu taste beyond delicious and also has the best staff! I love how friendly everyone is and how they really take pride in the service they give- even on hard nights or when dealing with difficult customers. They've never skipped a beat in all the times I've been here. I like how you can now order on the app and someone will bring it out to your car or you can order to go and go pick it up. This is a nifty perk we have only utilized once, but I dig it. The space is always clean, comfortable, and upbeat. I would literally go here anytime- it's that great! read more

Food wise this is like any other chilis, but though they had just two or three on the staff, they manged the late night crowd pretty well. I personally worked here months ago and the food is good but was not treated well by one of the managers , Timmy. He was nice at first until it got to the point that it was weird and made me uncomfortable. Whenever he would talk to me he would get extremely close to me and my face and try to put his hand on my shoulder. I have not been to Chili's for some time, and I had forgotten how good their food is! Say at the bar on a football weekend and really had a relaxing time. We had a guacamole/Chips appetizer, and also ordered some chicken and steak fajitas. Wonderful! Server at the bar was great!
