Came here for dinner and greatly enjoyed it! I had a cheese steak which was delicious. The portion sizes were large and prices were affordable for the amount of food served. My friends had fish & chips and chicken tenders and fries which they also claimed were very tasty! It is a very spacious restaurant with a large bar in one section. Our server was nice and gave us suggestions on what places were possibly open after 10pm to have some drinks. If I were ever in the area I would be back to try other dishes. read more

This place has easily the best steak I've ever had. It was so tender, it almost melted in your mouth and the spicy honey butter was a great topping. The steak in question was the honey butter filet minion. The meal was complete was complete with a perfectly cooked baked potato and broccoli. The server was very nice, and the service was prompt. We met a friend for dinner Labor Day (9/4/23), first time for all 3 of us. Wonderful experience, good service, food was excellent. We had a cobb salad with chicken, Caesar Salad with Chicken and I had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich with Side Salad. The service was great and place has potential to grow into our local favorite spot to watch sports or have a pint after a bike ride, BUT the wine (not good at all) matched the stemless "water glass" it came in and the BBQ ribs were almost cold (the almost cold BBQ sauce slapped on top and way too greasy) The chocolate cake is too rich to enjoy! And ill stop there considering the hardships everyone is enduring. Maybe my expectations were high considering the prices. Now if somebody would just care in the kitchen. First time here. As I was walking back to my table, I overheard the older bartender sexually harassing a waitress. Saying if he had his was she would be in spandex and crop tops. Very disturbing considering the age difference (old enough to be her grandfather!) and that he said it in front of customers. The food was great. I feel his comment distracted the performance the waitress as the order was slightly incorrect. Only slightly. Thankfully it was corrected free of charge. Santa Fe chicken was slightly salty. This restaurant is in an old railroad station in downtown Morrisville. I have driven by it many times not noticing that it was a restaurant. The interior is rustic and added to the charm of the restaurant. The service is good even when the bartender is stretched as the only server at lunch. Not sure why the service was slow. We were seated and had our order taken within minutes. There were complimentary home made potato chips which could probably benefitted from some dipping sauce but were decent. I ordered the patty melt with Swiss which was cooked as requested. My girlfriend got the lobster Mac and cheese which she thought was really good. She said there was just enough lobster that at $16 you didn't feel ripped off. We asked her to change the channel of the TV in front of us, she changed the one on the other side of the bar and just said, "different dish, you can move" and that was it. Never checked in on us. I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have enjoyed many good meals there. In my opinion they have solid pub food at a decent price in a town lacking consistent cuisine. This summer my family met up for a family dinner at 10 Rail Road and there was about 10 of us. They sat us in entrance of the restaurant and we were the first table the public saw when arriving. The manager on duty, a gentlemen, immediately was acting strange and attempting to give us and specifically me direction to "sit down", "clear the entrance". When we arrived as a group it took us a minute to say hello to each other and settle into our seats. This was irritating to the manager evident by his giving rude direction to us. Half way through the service a couple of other family members arrived, on their own, and we all greeted them as we haven't seen each other in years. This kind of set the manager off and he again directed me to "take a seat", and "how will we know who's food goes where". At this point I ignored his direction and him all together, determined to not allow him to ruin our family dinner. He didn't ruin it but I really just couldn't believe the lack of welcomeness I felt leaving our meal. This restaurant had been a great place for gathering friends and family, and again the food was decent and what I expected. No knock on the kitchen here. This is strictly a rebuke on the poor customer service exerted by this individual and as a result I'll no longer be dining at this establishment. I let this experience set in for a while before writing this review, but over a month later and I'm still appalled at the memory of him barking orders at myself and my family members for simply standing up next to our table to greet someone. read more

I love the tacos because the corn tortillas are lightly fried, crispy , fat and tasty. I also appreciate that they have kept the look and feel of the old train station. The bar is large and nice. We have been there twice for lunch and the service is good. My only complaint is that the decor of the dining area feels a bit sparse. When you first enter there is a big open space and no one to greet and seat you. It feels very cold and unwelcoming - sort of unfinished. Perhaps a nice round oak table right in the middle of this space would fix this problem. The table could display a seasonal flower arrangement, bottles of the house wine and nicely framed copies of the menus (or other items that say welcome). Might also have a sign reading "Welcome to 10 Railroad Street, please seat yourself." Just a suggestion. read more

This place was so good, I came back twice within a 5 day VT vacation. The first time, we came for happy hour and had a very good cocktail while waiting for takeout: I ordered the Cobb Salad. One of the best Cobb salads I've ever had. The only thing, it was really skimpy on the lettuce greens. Our last night in VT, we came back for dinner and we had an outstanding meal. The shrimp over fettuccine was recommended by the bartender and it was amazing. Also tried two of their cocktails and they were all good. This place is right in Morrisville and just off the rail trail. The back of it is now a cafe that does coffee and breakfast/lunch. The front end is the restaurant that does dinner and bar scene. The servers and bartender were all very friendly and their recommendations were on point. I know there is a lot of good eating in the area, so the fact that this place stands out says a lot. 6 miles north of Stowe and 12 miles north of Waterbury. Pair this with a trip to the two microbreweries in town and Green Mountain Distillery and you have yourself a foodie and beero day to remember. read more

I went to Morrisville on vacation with my husband and found this restaurant through Yelp. Reservations are preferred we found out, but were seated in the bar area, which was fine by us. I have some dietary restrictions, and the waiter was happy to run back to the kitchen to see how they could make a dish meet my needs. I ordered the grilled salmon with root vegetables. It was the most decadent salmon I've ever had. Perfectly grilled, a light aroma of the wood used, the seasoning was fantastic. My husband ordered a venison burger which he was over the moon with. The beer and drink selection was excellent. Great micro brews and creative cocktails. We almost ate there two nights in a row. AWESOME place to go for dinner! read more
