I was just at the aquarium and when I checked in we realized my membership was expired I was there with my daughter and I had 1 more parking pass, I thought my membership expired on the last day of the month since my parking pass expires next month. I'm not the type to ever ask for an exception, so I asked for a curtesy, there was no exception made. There was only a few hours left before the aquarium closes, and I didn't want to disappoint my daughter after we already drove down here and parked I asked if they could make the exception, they said no but that I could buy a ticket for today at the membership price (which wouldn't make sense because the aquarium closes soon). And with this economy it's just not feasible to buy a whole new ticket esp if my membership just recently expired. And we can't renew because we can't make it down here as often as we would like due to logistics. Sad there's no curtesy, my daughter was really excited to go and we supported the aquarium by initially buying the membership to see but now to see the lack of flexibility when asking for a curtesy of a few hours is really disappointing my daughter was really sad and cried. Sad that the aquarium can't provide a curtesy when the membership expire that same month it doesn't cost anything to let a child be there who already paid through a membership for a few hours esp if they are already there in person. Most people who visit the aquarium are kids, they are your main customer m

Going on a weekday during the summer can be a hit or miss on crowds. Great place to go to with family and friends and is a good spot to stroll along shoreline village/the pike. You do need to pay for parking at the parking garage but make sure to get your ticket validated at the aquarium so at least the cost is reduced.

The space we rented was clean and exactly as they described. our party had an amazing time. We followed the guidelines and rules and had zero issues This facility is great for parties and just to drop in and enjoy. I think they do a great job of ensuring guest safety. I appreciate that they understand that people are driving and have rules in place to protect patrons. we had over 80 guests that all left happy and said they had never been Togo Kart World despite being Southbay residents. All of the kids had a blast and the parents agreed we would be making another visit very soon. I would give them 10 stars if I could. management is super responsive. This was our first time, and we skipped the reading materials and just learned as we went, it worked out fine. We arrived on a Sunday around 4:30 PM and it wasn't busy. One thing to note: the Super Track tends to have a much longer wait than the others. Fair warning: there's a lot of exhaust. It's heaviest around the Super Track. While it's noticeable throughout the facility, the waiting areas for the other tracks felt better ventilated. I still felt like I'd chain smoked just by being there. The karts are clearly well used but in good condition. The staff are friendly, young, and clearly into go-karting (I wouldn't be surprised if they take laps themselves on breaks). They're attentive about safety without being so strict that it kills the fun. Overall, a solid four star experience.

This guy seemed an amazing deal price was killer and I thought maybe it just didn't have a lot of fossils and it was a lot of reconstruction. Nowhere on that piece or any of the other pieces if you go through their website, does it say replica the only way you find the word replicas if you go to their website the very first time and go as if you're going to try to book an event and then it says Shop our replicas. I was asking a very simple question when I found out it was a replica. I wasn't rude. I said, cancel my order and they jumped down my throat. It was the rudest thing I've ever experienced and I hope no one ever has to deal with them after reading this.

She did not tell me to go online to book. She did say I had to have a $750 minimum since she'd be coming to San Diego, and I was ok paying the extra. Again, no mention to go online to do this while talking. I can't go back to Tuesday the 22nd on my phone to screenshot my log. But I've posted the 2 calls I made to her Wednesday and the call I made on Thursday. I left messages asking for a call back and that we'd spoken. Let's be clear, they were not booked. I've been looking for a Dino encounter type of company for my sons 4th birthday party. After speaking with several companies who were unavailable, this was the only one who was available. I believe her name is Carrie (maybe jeri?) who owns it. When I originally spoke with her before other companies, the first thing I thought was, she doesn't sound very charismatic nor entertaining. When I learned she was one of the "presenters" is when I searched for another company. Unfortunately no one else was available for my date so I called back. I spoke with her Monday about booking and she confirmed availability but said she was in the car and would call me back later to finish booking. Ok, great. She didn't call me back. I called her back Tuesday afternoon and left a message. Same thing Wednesday, I called a few times to follow up and pay. No response. Today, Thursday, I called and got a hold of her. She apparently has booked someone in my spot since we spoke. I am sooo angry. When we hung up Monday, I would have paid if she'd told me how instead said she was driving and we'd handle later. So I assumed we had our spot. When I reminded her of this, she told me I needed to understand she speaks to a lot of people every day and she had car troubles which she had to fix and handle. Quite frankly, I do understand things happen BUT how do you confirm someone else when you already told someone else they had that spot. Im furious but it may be for the best as I can not imagine her type of personality entertaining a bunch of 4 year olds. Terrible way to run your business. Look for a different company!!! I do NOT recommend. If you follow my reviews, I do NOT typically give out 1 star reviews and I'm very fair. But this review deserves it as they completely left me hanging for a party!

I had my little one with me as well and I had planned to take her to the park or the beach everyday. However, I got myself sunburned and needed to take a break from the outdoors for a spell. I found Kid Town and it was a lifesaver. We met so many nice people and my daughter made lots of friends. The employees were wonderful and helpful too. They were very patient with my daughter when she wanted to try the rock wall. My only gripe is that I made the mistake of not buying the pass and ended up paying more than I could have. So worth the price!

Unfortunately, it's disappointing to see that the playground hasn't really been updated or improved over that time. Many of the play areas look exactly the same, and it would be nice to see some new equipment or renovations to keep the experience fresh for returning families. Another concern is safety. The facility doesn't require grip socks, and they don't even sell them on-site. Grip socks are important in indoor playgrounds because the floors and play structures can become slippery, increasing the risk of slips and falls. Implementing a grip sock policy would be a simple way to help keep kids safer. My son still enjoys coming here, but after so many years, I hope the owners invest in updating the facility and improving safety standards.
