Ordered a cake through phone. The process was a bit back-and-forth because the website is a corporate one, while the pages for specific locations would list all the flavors for the year even though many are seasonal. The pandemic is another major reason for limited options. Rang the store in hopes to decide on a cake the same day, but the person on the phone couldn't provide list of currently available flavors (not sure why that is). Was told that only the manager knows and their store's IG has it posted. I went and looked, but saw no info posted in the last several months. Had to swing back to Facebook store page, and left them a message on Messenger to get a hold of the manager, who responded the same day, fortunately. Got the list of flavors; decided and called back the store the next day, and got a cake ordered. Despite the unnecessary social media ping-pong game I had to play in order to obtain simple info like that, the process went relatively smoothly. More "amazingly", the order came out correctly! Which successfully off-set the mountain I had to climb to get there. $38 base price for a small-size cake (feeds 4-6, but definitely 6+ as dessert) and $2 extra per topping (mixed into the cake, no fancy design), it was not a bad deal, compared to many $45+ regular cakes I have had to spend on. Can't complain about the two-day lead time, either (though I called a week early). Caveat: while searching on the site, I browsed on the "nutrition facts" page and saw that many products are not as "healthy" as they purport, with regards to sugar/fat content and flavoring ingredients. But as a once-in-a-while treat, it's certainly not the worst. Driving tip: If you are going southbound leaving the store, drive INTO the mall side and loop out of it to the traffic light on Morse Street. That would save you a few miles (and possibly traffic) swinging out onto Rt 1 to do the U (exit on right) on Dean. read more

Orange Leaf was honestly one of the most disappointing frozen yogurt places I've been to. The frozen yogurt was bland, the toppings weren't anything special, and the whole experience felt underwhelming. The prices are high for the quality you get, and nothing about it made me feel like it was worth it. The atmosphere was also strange. The inside is so overwhelmingly orange that it almost feels harsh and outdated instead of bright or inviting. It didn't make the place feel comfortable or relaxing at all. Overall, there are much better frozen yogurt shops with better flavors, a nicer atmosphere, and a more enjoyable experience. I won't be coming back. read more

Employees were kind and show was fairly clean. I'm sure you get a lot of kids that make messes so that's not easy. But... I really take issue with the 15% default tip on your point of service device. I just made my own food item. I came to the counter to pay. And I'm clearing my own table when I'm done. Who should be getting tipped here!?! Sure it is possible to change that to amount but I'm sure most do not notice or feel awkward making the correction while under the watchful eye of the employee. It's not right. read more

Me and my mom went to enjoy a piece of nostalgia because the orange leaf in our town closed. As soon as we entered the 2 female employees gave us a disgusted look and as we went to get our cups they continued staring. When time to pay we didn't get a greeting from the cashier, all she said was the price with a snarky look and an attitude. When her friends came in she got excited and gave them fair treatment. Honestly just disappointed in the service. This is your job, customer satisfaction comes with that. I think orange leaf should take a better look at who they're hiring. This is a pretty solid fro-yo place. They do a nice job with it, and it's a good stop if you're craving something cold and sweet! The location is in a quiet little plaza right off of Route 1, so it's easily accessible, and the parking is simple. I was instantly greeted by the worker when I walked in the door, and she was very cheerful. The place is clean, bright, and well organized. It is very welcoming. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how clean and well-kept it is especially considering all the kids that are running in and out all day long. This scored big points with me. Their frozen yogurt is a very tasty, even in comparison to other stuff that I've had. Their "buffet" of goodies to put on your frozen yogurt is self serve, very clean and organized, and quite varied. You apparently pay by the cup, so you can stuff as much crap in your cup as you can possibly fit, and it's the same price. I felt it was a little overpriced, however next time, I would be aware of the way you pay, and would get a smaller cup. Overall, this is a nice frozen yogurt shoppe, and it seems like a great place to bring the family, or stop in with a few friends. I would come back here again. read more

I LOVE ORANGE LEAF! So happy I found them! Very friendly staff that is super helpful and always making sure everything is clean! They have 4 sizes and prices per cup start at around $3.59. IT IS NOT BY WEIGHT WHICH IS AMAZING!!! They also serve smoothies, açaí bowls, cakes and fro-yo to go. The fro-yo is delicious! My favorite is the pineapple mixed with the coconut! Tastes like a piña colada. Love that they have a rewards system seeing that I come in about weekly. Highly recommend. There is plenty of parking and two benches for outdoor seating. The only thing I wish Orange Leaf did was have a separate recycle bin for their adorable orange spoons. It's sad tossing your cup away and seeing the trash full of recyclable plastic. They charge you per ounce but they weighed my smoothie before blending, and I'm sure at least an ounce or 2 were left in the blender (which would make my $9.30 smoothie a dollar or so cheaper...). This is the worst yogurt place I've ever been too. The yogurt actually had multiple lumpy balls the size of a rice grain in every spoonful. Some time three or four in every spoonful. I stopped eating it after the third spoonful. Extremely unpleasant. It was discusting. I visit froyo world in Brookline/Coolidge corner weekly. It's always smooth and lump free delicious flavors. This was my first Orange Leaf experience, and it was so great! There are soo many flavors to choose from, and tons of toppings. It is self-serve, which is so fun! The only bad part is that it is super easy to get carried away because it is so fun to make. It is sold by weight so it can definitely get pricey if you're not careful. Every flavor I tried was so good. My favorites were pumpkin pie, snicker doodle, and oatmeal cookie. I also liked that there were a few fruit flavors like pineapple and coconut. Who has to mentally prep herself before going to Orange Leaf each time? THIS GIRL. I keep telling myself "don't over fill the cup, don't over fill the cup, don't over fill the cup" OR "get less froyo this time and leave more room for toppings" UM... yeah... I never listen to myself. This is how it usually ends: I end up liking 8 out of 10 flavors and even though I only get a "little bit" of each flavor, I always fill my damn cup, leaving pretty much no room for toppings. One time, I got the large size cup, thinking "I'll just fill it up to the regular size amount and that way I will have more room for toppings...." NOPE. I FILLED THAT DAMN CUP ALL THE WAY UP. Moral of the Story - Orange Leaf is dangerous. Dangerously delicious. And if you have control issues like me, you should bring someone there with you to make sure you don't get a froyo that weights 3 lbs. Some of my favorite froyo flavors: Salted Caramel, Watermelon Sorbet, Wedding Cake, Birthday Cake, Cookies n Cream, Cappuccino, Coffee, Pumpkin Cheesecake, etc etc etc. Some of my favorite toppings: mochi mochi mochi. Okay, so Orange Leaf is good. But I have a problem with this specific branch. They have NO price signs ANYWHERE in obvious sight. Even the employees couldn't find any signage or posters with that information when we asked for it. After a while of looking, we found it--- in the most obscure place! In the corner of a 40-inch tv hung up on the wall. That's it. Really?!?!? I feel like that's illegal in some sense. To not have ANY signs informing customers of price at a sales establishment? Always happy to come here. Love that there are lactose free options and always love the toppings (esp. the boba!!) One issue is that I wish that the lactose free options would vary more. I love this particular location - incredibly friendly staff, fresh toppings and tasty flavors. The only gripe that I have is that the flavors don't really rotate too much BUT what they have is delicious. Many different choices - banana, key lime pie, coconut cake, blackberry Greek yogurt. I have never given a 5-star "food" review before. I have been to various Yogurt shops including one other Orange Leaf. Taste is a personal thing so I am not comparing this to any other Yogurt venue as far as taste, but for me, the yogurt was good. So how else to judge? As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a big "hello" - we were the only customers at the time, but it was still nice, and made us feel welcome. We got to the machines - the flavor cards were easy to see and not "grimey" or with an yogurt on them (yes, I have seen this before at other places) - a plus. The dispensers were very very clean and had no yogurt "hanging around" the bottom trays. As soon as we got to the machines, a very pleasant young lady was there asking if we wanted samples. She gave nice-sized samples and there was not any hesitation on her part when we asked for additional flavor samples. The seating area was very clean - spotless, as was the floor. The bathrooms were also very clean and fresh. What else could you want? An overall great experience. We already told some friends, and will be back! read more

I like the new pricing, where it is a flat price depending on the size of the cup. I particularly enjoy fruit on my yogurt, and the fruit here is always fresh and sweet. Just took my kids with nut allergies here. The people in charge had special condiments set aside for them in the back! They let the kids take whatever they wanted and there were plenty of chocolate, candies, etc. They were thrilled and I was so happy to go someplace that understood our issues.
