I had the Swedish fish and blue raspberry ice. The Swedish fish tasted exactly like the candy while I enjoyed the blue raspberry it wasn't as tart as I thought it would be. That's not a bad thing though! The gelati was also excellent. I highly recommend trying Rita's- it's not your average snow cone or Italian ice. I can't wait to go back!

Stick to fruit flavors, its been the best bet. Also, rita's is diabetic friendly! They have sugar free Italian ice flavors that rotate often. You can slightly tell it's not real sugar but it beats not having any at all. My favorite sugar free flavor is definitely dragonfruit. I wish they'd have 2 sugar free flavors available at a time but it's usually just one. For regular flavors, go for watermelon and mango...its definitely the real stuff because sometimes you get fresh bits of fruit in your ice! The custard reminds me of frozen cool whip. It's an interesting texture feel on the palate. It's not everyone's cup of tea but it's worth trying! My favorite thing to do is to get it layered into an Italian ice, best of both worlds! Be mindful it's window service only, has a few tables out but most just stand and enjoy their treats in little group huddles. I've seen families sit at the back of the car trunks too. Staff is friendly and quick. No bathrooms but there's a Cumberland farms across the street if you need one. Lines move fast so don't let that be the reason why you don't try it!

I found the shape of the store a little awkward, It's hard to see the menu and the counter is inset so if there are mulitple groups you kind of get in each others way. So the kiosk was welcome. The pandemic is another major reason for limited options. Rang the store in hopes to decide on a cake the same day, but the person on the phone couldn't provide list of currently available flavors (not sure why that is). Was told that only the manager knows and their store's IG has it posted. I went and looked, but saw no info posted in the last several months. Had to swing back to Facebook store page, and left them a message on Messenger to get a hold of the manager, who responded the same day, fortunately. Got the list of flavors; decided and called back the store the next day, and got a cake ordered. Despite the unnecessary social media ping-pong game I had to play in order to obtain simple info like that, the process went relatively smoothly. More "amazingly", the order came out correctly! Which successfully off-set the mountain I had to climb to get there. $38 base price for a small-size cake (feeds 4-6, but definitely 6+ as dessert) and $2 extra per topping (mixed into the cake, no fancy design), it was not a bad deal, compared to many $45+ regular cakes I have had to spend on. Can't complain about the two-day lead time, either (though I called a week early). Caveat: while searching on the site, I browsed on the "nutrition facts" page and saw that many products are not as "healthy" as they purport, with regards to sugar/fat content and flavoring ingredients. But as a once-in-a-while treat, it's certainly not the worst. Driving tip: If you are going southbound leaving the store, drive INTO the mall side and loop out of it to the traffic light on Morse Street. That would save you a few miles (and possibly traffic) swinging out onto Rt 1 to do the U (exit on right) on Dean.
