I've experienced Chill Theaters twice now! First time was in August where I hosted my Mom's 62 Groovy for You Birthday on wheels! We had a nice intimate session, parked in a residential area, little quiet neighborhood in Sunnyvale, CA. The theaters was clean, fully equipped with snacks and drinks (free of charge) too! We ended up getting this experience free and that just made the cherry on top experience for us! The second time around, my friend rented out the mobile for the both of us! We hosted a Halloween event and nobody could even tell we were in the middle of a parking lot in a Campbell, CA park! lol All of my friends enjoyed and loved the concept. Again the experience was enjoyable and the theater was clean. The restroom though had a little odor though, so we had to keep the door closed for sure! My friend and I split the costs, which was $30 for egg rolls that we never even got. But that's okay, the driver said we would get a refund, not sure if she ever did! Andree the driver is amazing! He's super flexible, informative, and helpful! Hope he is always the driver when I book in the future! My mom actually recently booked the Mobile for my daughter's upcoming birthday in January! I booked this expecting some good enough audio quality. The trailer really blew me away because of how well eqquiped it is. The speakers are surround sound, and the display is just as advertised. For my case specifically, i want to watch a live concert on 4k and quality sound. It absolutely delivered. I watched the concert through screen casting because the display is a samsung brand, so it matches with my device pretty well. The trailer have a bathroom, sink, and basic amenities. They got both a fridge and freezer for icecream cakes aswell. There are snacks provided. Place is clean and well kept, I can walk barefoot around so that's good enough. Beyond that, the owner is very nice and friendly. Communications are clear aswell. Nice fellow overall. Easy to book, great customer online chat service to answer questions as we planned the event, timely (early drop off) by a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. The chill truck only showed up about 5 minutes before the start time of our party causing a lot of frantic and chaos in terms of set up. The only # I had was from Yelp that went to VM. The driver indicated he didn't have my phone # (but I'm also not sure how much that would have helped). Some of the girls for my daughter's party had already shown up. Girls didn't get in until about 15-20 past original start time. Otherwise everything was fine after. The driver was nice, he left for the duration, leaving his # for any issues. Even showed up a bit later to makeup for the time lost. However after that chaotic start, and lack of process on their end, I don't think I'll be using them again. read more

Such a fun idea! I recently went to a Halloween inspired charcuterie party and chill theaters was our "base". The inside was bright and vibrant and there was also a mini snack bar. I reserved & paid for it right then to use a week or so later for my grandson's birthday party. We had a super experience! Booking was as simple as reserving a time. Sean was in communication with me prior and happily accommodated requests for movies. We live in an apartment and Chill Theaters was such a nice way to host a teen birthday in a spacious and well appointed theater on wheels. The kids had their privacy and all the media options you could want. I think this is a great option for sporting, or say watching the Oscars, or hosting a game tournament without needing to open your home to guests. We ordered pizza because-teens, but Chill Theaters did have a well stocked snack and beverage situation, plus fridges and a microwave. The restroom is very spacious and nicely kept. The driver Javi arrived well in advance of our start time and set everything up for us. He was really personable and helpful (the girls noted he also has perfect skin). Great for when you and 9 of your friends want to watch a movie, but don't quite comfortably fit in your apartment. On a whim, I rented from Chill Theaters, and they showed up to my place, set everything up, and even had snacks available inside. We browsed several streaming services and settled on a great movie, dimmed the lights, and enjoyed the surround sound! Partway through, we ordered pizza and had it delivered right to the portable theatre (outside food is expressly allowed). Everyone was cozy and content. Kudos to our host who taught us how to use the theatre system and was so accommodating that he let us stay just a little bit longer to finish our movie :) read more

Honestly what a wonderful experience!! Had Chill theaters come to our home for my Mother-in laws Birthday on a Tuesday and to say she was shocked is an understatement. We were provided with Free snacks and a dog friendly experience. It was clean and setup with fun in mind. We tried out Chill Theaters for our family and ended up loving it! The owner set up the mobile theater nearby and then walked us through how to use the sound system okus other amenities. The space is very cozy and had plenty of comfy chairs to lounge on. There were plenty of gaming consoles and all streaming platforms to choose from so I can definitely see how you could spend a long time here.
