Food is great, definitely recommend! Mine and my boyfriends go to spot. Food is very fresh and by the best I have tried in Phoenix so far.

D 3 - Thai Coconut Curry w/chicken and steamed vegetables

Chilli King is a small Chinese-Asian Fusion restaurant located in Glendale near to Old Town Glendale. They have only four tables for dine in and offer soft beverages. The food I tried was all VERY GOOD. I've dined here and more recently I did take out. Proteins are tender. The food is very flavorful and delicious. Portions are also very large. You can also upgrade your steamed rice to fried rice, steamed vegetables, or chow mein. One problem here. This is a small family restaurant. On both my visits they left their young son in charge of the restaurant. He takes orders and payment very well but doesn't explain their take out policy. They won't make your take out order until they are paid. If you call in an order you must pay by credit card for your order to be ready for pick up. If you pay with cash they tell you 10 minutes that is in real life more like 30 minutes.... It's best to call for current hours because they have changed them several times already. But the spicy boiled chicken is really great!

I'm at work so my picture isn't the best, however the food was to die for! Probably some of the best Chinese I've had in a long time and I ordered through Postmates so you know it's good when it travels to you and still rocks!!

Weird shaped wontons with barely meat inside

My boyfriend tried to order a to go order online at 9 pm and they said it would be ready by noon the next day. Okay, obviously that's not gonna work. So he calls and makes an order over the phone and drives to go pick it up. It's only 2 miles away from our house but it took him 35 minutes because when he got there the food wasn't ready. Something weird is they had him show his ID to prove it was him even though he used his credit card that had his name on it. ANOTHER weird thing is they had a kid working the register. Well, we finally get the food home and it was not worth the wait. My boyfriend ordered the house low mein and I got the wontons. His noodles barely had any meat on them and they looked/tasted like ramen noodles. My wontons were fried nicely but there was a dime size of meat on the inside which was disappointing. It could've tasted good if I there was enough to actually taste it. Won't be going back here. Sadly disappointed/:

We have been stopping by this place in a small plaza for 3 years now and wondered how it was since we were new to the area and finally decided to give it a try. Quiet small place clean and quaint. Young man at register which is more than likely the son. When ordering he asked and informed of all the choices and payment was fast which for his age he seems efficient! Food was hot and fresh we ordered the sweet and sour chicken with white rice and soup. Portions were big for the price. Flavor was bold. Rangoons were tasty. Overall it was a nice place to get food on the whim. We will more than likely return and give another item a try as we love supporting small businesses run by family.

The Pork Fried Wonton's were burned, no flavor in House Singapore Rice Noodles. My first and last time ordering, not recommending.

Egg drop soup w/ tomato. AMAZING.

YUM YUM YUM! I can't believe this is in our neighborhood! Not your basic chinese take out but WAY better! GREAT food for a great price and OPEN LATE. For our first time we ordered the orange chicken and fried chicken (to go) but what I LOVED was the tomato egg drop soup and spring rolls. The fried rice wasnt greasy but light and fresh. Awesome portions. Absolutely delicious. My husband and I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

The concept is really fun and unique. When you walk in, you scan a QR code at your table to place your order, if you need help they are there to help you, and your meal is brought to your table in a boiling hot pot that continues to cook your food. I ordered the vegetable hot pot with lamb on the side, my daughter got the kimchi dumpling hot pot, and her friend ordered the seafood hot pot. Everything came out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. If you need more broth, they're happy to bring you extra. The atmosphere is calm, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. They also serve complimentary green tea, which was such a nice touch. It reminded me of going to Chinese restaurants as a kid when they would bring hot tea to the table. It brought back wonderful memories. The regular size was more than enough food for me, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and quick to prepare and serve everything. I definitely recommend Tasty Pot if you're looking for a comforting, flavorful meal and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back again!

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

They have complimentary parking in the front, side, and back of the restaurant. There aren't a ton of spots, but there's street parking close by too. Ambiance (3.5/5): Like most Chinese restaurants, China Chili is pretty no frills. Which isn't a problem for me at all, I'm there for the food. It's a spacious restaurant with both regular tables and circular tables that rotates (good for large groups sharing dishes). Service (4/5): Fantastic service is also not something I expect at a Chinese restaurant. Yet again, I'm there for the food. With that being said, service, while not overly friendly, is typically pretty efficient. Which I always appreciate. Drinks (4/5): Pretty much your standard soft drinks, tea, and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages. My favorite option is their buddha beer which you don't see in a lot of places. It's a lager and it's in a buddha-shaped bottle. It doesn't get much better than that. Food (5/5): The first time I came was for one of my favorite dishes... Peking duck. There aren't a ton of spots in Phoenix that have it, but out of the ones that do, China Chili serves it at a high level. You can go with either crepes or baos (additional surcharge). The duck is absolutely to die for. Flavorful, juicy meat with crispy skin that fits in perfectly into your mini "sandwich" with green onions and Hoisin sauce. For a reasonable price too. Their food outside of duck is of a similar quality. I especially like their flat noodles with beef. Even classic dishes like sesame chicken have a twist here. It's sliced chicken rather than fully breaded chicken. Just as good as the typical way, the sauce is delicious. My only complaint? They give you a pretty small helping of white rice with your dish. Outside of that, the portions are generous. Everything I've had at China Chili has been a hit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

There aren't many places in Phoenix that serve duck this neatly like in my photo, and I appreciate that it's not another chain restaurant. We walked into a COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant. There was a man folding napkins and he said "sit anywhere!" Ooookay, so we sat at a booth, the RUDE waitress comes over to take our orders, "what you wanna order!?" Super aggressive! We order our usual. During that time I realized that it would be easier to eat at a round table so we could use the lazy Susan in the middle to easily reach our food. So we got up and we're going to move when the man who was folding napkins said "no! Wait for your waitress!" Waitress comes back and literally YELLED at us! Saying, "no!!! Sit at the booth!!" I tried explaining that the table would be too small and she continued to yell at me. I was on the verge of tears and didn't understand why she was so upset. Since we did not eat or drink anything, my husband said "let's go!" So we excused ourselves and left. The man folding napkins stood up and ran to the exit and started recording us. Not only was I scared, but my son started crying and my 70 year old mother began wheezing and breathing fast... they literally ran out of the restaurant as we were getting into our car and kept yelling & recording! I used to order $150-200 food EVERY MONTH!!! However we ALWAYS did pick up. Had I known how TERRIBLE THEIR SERVICE IS, I would neeeeeever have contributed to them!!! Absolutely horrible horrible hooooorible service! DO NOT GO HERE!! There are plenty other places to eat with better service!!! Huge pass and will never ever eeever return
