    Mongolian Beef
    Payeng L.

My family & I came here for an early dinner. We ordered the dumplings with spicy chili oil, juicy pork dumplings, crab puffs, salt & pepper calamari, pork garlic & chili oil, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice & general tso chicken. We were the only guest in the restaurant so service was nice and quick. The server was really friendly. The crab puffs didn't have crab in it, it was just cream Cheese but they were cooked perfectly. The general tso chicken wasn't as crispy as we'd liked but it was still good. All the other dishes were good. Definitely cured my Szechuan cravings so that we didn't have to drive another 45 mins to Mesa or Temp area.

I wanted to update this as Szechuan Cuisine has been a solid, consistent go-to for us. Their food is fresh, flavorful, not overly greasy and they will accommodate most of your requests when ordering delivery -can get varying spicy levels, etc. Staff is friendly. This is a great go to when you are craving Szechuan.

Not many patrons inside when I walked little past 8 pm. It was on my way back to the hotel from the conference center. The soft shell crabs ( one of chef's specialties) I ordered was supposed to be spicy but I did not feel any kick. Too much battering and the flavor was just okay. I did not order the Boiled Fish which is a typical Szechuan dish. Maybe next time.

Szechuan Cuisine is awesome for Chinese. Feels like a hole in a wall spot, the dining area feels casual and the service is prompt and cordial. They have a lunch menu that comes with soup and an egg roll which is wonderful. I recommend coming then if you want to save a bit but we get a few dishes and share them and it's spectacular. The flavors are great and the portions sizes are good. Overall a really great experience and definitely one of my go-to Chinese spots over in our area. I recommend it!

I'm docking a star because their xiao long bao are consistently bad. They're always oversteamed and stuck to the paper, there's no Chianiiang vinegar or even a soup spoon. Everything else is great, and you should ABSOLUTELY come here and support them, but they really need to step up their dumpling game.

Szechuan cuisine has amazing food. Everything we have had from here is packed with flavor. The place is clean and family owned. The dumplings, shrimp with vegetables and the star of the show is always their spicy chicken wings!! They are crunchy and I don't know what they flavor them with but it's AMAZING! They are served with chilies and chunks of garlic.. it's all eaten! Lol expect a bit of a wait as I believe it's just mom and son running the show but they're friendly and food is consistently great!

I was intrigued to go somewhere new. This restaurant doesn't really present well upon arrival, i.e, ZERO curb appeal. Undaunted by aforementioned curb appeal, I walked in and was eagerly greeted by an employee guarding the cash register. This soft-spoken gentleman allowed me to choose my seat, which was pretty easy since he and I were the only people in the place, sans the kitchen cooks. The menu was abundant, and I quickly descended upon a spicy favorite: General Tso Chicken and a frosty beeeeeeer. (Insert Homer Simpson voice) My meal arrived within mear minutes... like 4 or 5 minutes. Oh my... either crazy fast or crazy pre-prepared. Oh well, I dumped my rice bowl on the plate and scooped my General Tso over the rice. I was half expecting freezer burned chicken fresh from the microwave however, I was pleasantly surprised by how it tasted. It may have been previously prepared, but probably not because it tasted much better than expected. Halfway thru the meal, the soft-spoken guy asked if I would like more rice (more rice??) Heck yeah!! Like Flash, he reappeared before I realized he left and left another cup of rice for me, the hungry stranger. I dumped the rice over the remaining main course, planning on taking it home for tomorrow (yeah, right), and before I knew it, that too was gone. Sipping the remaining few ounces of beeeeeer (Homer) I began to scribe my review of tonight's dinner. So, as always, the question of the day: will I come back?? YES, eager to try another dinner from the generous menu!

Stopped by here on our way out. We were so hungry. This place is a strip mall restaurant. It's very clean looking. And large. The portions are smaller than many similar places. The prices are very comparable. Our meal started off with egg drop soup. It was absolutely delicious. My companion had the lemon chicken with white rice. They were happy with their selection. The egg roll had a smoky taste. It didn't seem to affect much. I chose the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken itself was good and as expected but the rice and peppers were definitely off. The rice tasted burnt and had a smoky type of taste almost chemical like. The peppers were bitter and chemical tasting. Not pleasant. To the credit of the restaurant they did exchange the rice when I brought it to their attention. I didn't say anything about the peppers since I had already eaten the 2 pieces I'd been served. Anything the rice or peppers had touched wasn't very good at all. I picked through my meal and ended up not eating it. The gentleman serving was very attentive. Service was quick. And they were very responsive when the issue was brought to their attention. The food just didn't get there. I'm not sure if this was a one off fluke or normal.

Decent food but I was quite disappointed with the spice level. Unfortunately this place does not live up to its Szechuan name. Great staff and service though. Very fair price for the food.

This place should be packed for lunch! The man who runs the restaurant is very attentive to his customers. Very good lunch specials.

You order, pay at the counter and grab your beverage from the refrigerator. Your meal is packed in styrofoam so you either take out or eat in at one of the few tables inside. Parking is very easy because they are at the end of a strip mall in a big parking lot. Our food was very fresh. Portions were very large. The chicken in our dishes was masterfully moist and very tender. The food is a very good value if you like it. We ordered the yui shan chicken and the garlic chicken combos (only around $1. more to get soup, crab puff, egg roll and an upgrade from white rice to fried rice.) Based on only trying two dishes my conclusion is that they serve Arizona Style American Chinese Food. It is far less complex, less flavorful, and much less spicy than east coast American take out Chinese Food. It's not bad food in anyway so if you are from Arizona it is very good food. We started eating at the restaurant but I got the idea that I could take the food home and improve it for my taste. The food stayed piping hot and it did taste much better with just a spoonful of chili crisp added more flavors and some needed heat. The people working there seemed very nice and the restaurant looked sparkling clean. 3 stars is a positive review and means A-OK on Yelp. Give this place a try if you are good with Arizona Style Take Out Chinese Food.

I spent over $50 on food, and the quality was extremely disappointing. The General Tso's chicken was basically nothing but breaded chicken pieces -- no vegetables and barely any sauce. The Orange Chicken was also dry and lacked sauce, making both dishes bland and unappetizing. To make matters worse, each entrée is supposed to come with rice, yet only a very small portion was provided. At this point, it feels like this restaurant is cutting corners and poorly managed. I'm generally not someone who leaves negative reviews, but the lack of care, consistency, and food quality is impossible to ignore. This was my last time giving this establishment my hard-earned money. I'd rather spend it somewhere that values its customers and takes pride in the food they serve.

If you need to hold a conversation with someone, the music isn't too loud preventing that. Music was a mix, they did have "Golden" in the mix and ngl, I had to force myself not to sing along. They have lunch specials, even on Sundays. It's a great way to try a lot of options for cheaper. The lunch menu comes with a generous size entree, 2 scoops of fried rice, egg drop soup, a veggie spring roll and a fried cream cheese wonton. I got a few items, and we had so much food it's still in the fridge. Walnut shrimp was crispy, sauce wasn't overly sweet, nice crunch from the candied walnuts. You get a good portion. The shrimp was not overcooked. Yum. 8/10 Shrimp with lobster sauce, it was a little salty for me but had a nice mix of veggies, and the sauce didn't have too much cornstarch, so it wasn't gelatinous like at some places. Nice flavors though. Nothing overpowering. 6/10 Beef Chow Fun -not on the lunch menu but I literally get it at every Chinese place that has it. The rice noodles were not overcooked, beef was seasoned well and tender, not chewy. 10/10 would get that again. Hot and sour soup was pretty good. I could stand for it to have more "sour" to it. The flavors were a bit mellow for me. I like a more aggressively flavored hot and sour soup. Not bad though. 6.5/10 Mongolian beef. Nice tender beef, well cooked and seasoned. Good beef to onion ratio. 8/10. Chicken with mushrooms-saucy, full of veggies with a mild brown sauce. They had zucchini in it, and I love zucchini and mushrooms together. There was a lot of chicken, and it was seasoned well, not too salty. Definitely tasty. 8/10. Would I be back? Probably. I'm glad I found this spot. I've driven by it plenty, it's one you don't want to miss though!
