It was a blisteringly hot summer, and our A/C malfunctioned in early May of 2025. Our unit was less…read morethan two years old. A high end heat pump/A/C with apparently no customer service within 60 miles. While some technicians found a faulty blower motor (still under warranty), the service department of this manufacturer made the process very difficult. 90 days without A/C. With said motor replaced, the A/C worked for a few days before it stopped blowing cold air. This is now five months without A/C. Called Daniels Heating and Air, the technicians came out the next day and recharged a depleted coolant R-410, and for a week it cooled great. But soon it became apparent that the unit had a leak. After consulting with the manufacturer representative, they agreed to ship a brand new unit ($14-18,000) and it was shipped to Daniels Heating and Air. When it arrived, they brought out the unit, and installed it in short order. It was installed at no cost to us. The technicians that we interacted with were great, and so we recommend Daniels Heating and Air without reservation. I will also get a quote on regular maintenance agreement for the A/C and the split units we have. "You can have happy heating and air, where the service is great and prices are fair." M. H

They were professional, friendly, and efficient. The two of them had to haul a huge unit to the back of our yard to get through our gate. They spent 12 hours at our house making sure that everything was set up properly to work for us! They couldn't have been friendlier, more hard working gentleman! Even after spending all day outside our house in sub 30 degree temperatures, they still made sure they cleaned up all the boxes and trash from the new unit, again, they could not have been any more professional and courteous to us! The irony of this business is my wife really liked the first guy who came out about a year ago to…read moredo some work. Though he was not very friendly at all he was competent and reliable. I thought he charged quite a bit but have not had to use an electrician for a while. Recently we needed some work so we called them but did not get the same gentleman we used in the past. Instead I got the owner (Joe) on the line. He said he happened to be just up the road so could swing by to take a look. I interpreted this as a friendly (no charge) drop in since he was down the street. He looked at the problem spending about 20 minutes and he also helped me take a look at a project we were doing in our garage. He was not able to fix the issue we needed fixed but said he would send someone out the next day. He was very friendly when he came out so did not expect any issues. The next day a young guy came out, was very nice and immediately found the problem. The problem was a GFI switch that was tripped in the crawl space under the house. Took him all but 10 minutes to fix it. He even wondered out loud why the owner did not fix this the previous day when he was here. This guy told us he had to charge $125 for a full hour even if he was only there 10 minutes so my wife asked him to replace a few switches which he did and all was done very well. The issue came when he "wrote up" the bill. He left the house to go to his truck to write up the invoice and came back. I used a credit card so just handed it to him to swipe on his handheld machine; he did not warn me that the quote was not more than double. When I looked at the receipt I saw a nearly $300 charge that I had just paid for! I thought for sure he made a mistake as the invoice said " 2 hours" for that same day. When I asked him about this he said his boss told him (when he was in the truck) to charge me for his hour the previous day . Keep in mind he offered to drop by saying he was just up the street, and, in my opinion, he could have easily repaired the problem the prior day but instead told him he would send someone out the next day. He never said anything about charging me for his drop in and the young guy the next day never told me up front he was gonna charge my card for more than double the quote and the understood charge. I called the owner who insisted he needed to be paid for his time the prior day. This was the owner. He did help me look at the work going on in my garage so I let it go but I will never ever use this company again. I hope they are happy to get the extra $150 or so cause it cost them an otherwise happy customer and also one who will never recommend them. Interestingly, I needed an electrician again only a week or two later and called Moss Electric who were amazing, trustworthy, fair in pricing and over delivered on service.

His quote was $200 on the low end to $350 on the top end. It would take an hour to 2 hours max. He would have his electricians pick up what they needed. CONS: 1. His electricians had no idea what they were suppose to be doing. Their work order for me what someone else's. 2. They did not have the supplies they needed. 3. I was charged for the time to go back to Nashville & back to Franklin to pick parts they should have already picked up. 4. They asked if I had tools so they would not have to go back to their truck, asked to use my vacuum to clean up, and left tools which they said they needed and would pick up. (they have not) 5. The 2 hour job took at least 6.5 hours & cost me a day of work. 6. The $350 job ended being over $600. PROS: My house did not burn down. This could have all been avoided with an onsite quote. I was told they are in the area everyday, so it would not have been inconvenient. The most frustrating part is being told by Joe 3 times that he has not seen the ticket and he would get back with me. It has been a month, and I have heard nothing. If you like being over charged, and being lied to about following up, the Dr is for you. From my experience, the Dr is guilty of malpractice.

My house here in TN was new when I bought it. The AC was completed as part of the build. Over the…read moreyear since I've owned it, my upstairs unit either didn't work correctly or wasn't working at all. Wouldn't heat enough and wouldn't cool at all. Parts for it are nearly impossible to get even though it's less than two years old. Chad was my guy. He was the guy my builder turned me on to as his AC guy. While Chad had no real say in what was installed into this home (builder states what goes in), he did all he could to get it working correctly. Unfortunately, having a new home with a 2nd story unit that just wasn't working was not ok with me. Chad wanted to make it right. Again, he knew what was installed and that it wasn't really what he would have done himself. He was under zero obligation to do anything but try and order parts under warranty. Again, they are nowhere to be had. What makes Pearson's above the rest is that he wanted me, the customer, made right. He initiated and remedied this whole crappy situation by removing the entire system and replacing it with one HE trusts, at his own expense. One that HE KNOWS if needed, the manufacturer, will make things right ASAP! What was a bad choice and a failure was a Rheem Heatpump. As far as I'm concerned, avoid Rheem like the Plague. What Chad replaced it with was a York. Good name. Good product. It's still a family owned and run manufacturer. Wow! It's quiet and it works!!!!! Chad at Pearson Heating and Cooling has my 100% support in anything he does. He and his folks are top knotch. Customer service is a thing of a past and these guys bleed it. So you need work, no need to look elsewhere. Seriously!
