Everything we have ordered has been excellent. Some of our favorites is roast pork with Chinese vegetables, beef with broccoli yum! The wonton soup is so good and the spare ribs are excellent and keeps us going back. Fast friendly staff too!

Small seating area, but great take out. They fill the boxes up! Not bad food for the price.

Mom ordered Shrimp lo mein, she said it was delicious! Fresh with lots of shrimp enough for two meals. She got BBQ fried rice also. Hubby got Thai spring rolls, they were spicy and full of veggies and chicken. BBQ pork fried rice also, so much pork, egg, and veggies. He also got wonton soup a Qt. His main dish was beef with garlic sauce, and lots of broccoli and good veggies. I ordered the Szechuan chicken. And BBQ pork fried rice. Also a side of kimchi, I love to add kimchi to all my other items. All our meals were fresh, tender meat, the right spice, and love it when there is an array of veggies, not just carrots and onions. The atmosphere, is clean and friendly no frills, down home Asian foods. We will be back, close to home, and wherever we've lived we must have one good place for oriental take out!!! Yay

Everything is always put together beautifully and travel time is about 15 minutes but it's still piping hot when we get there. Better go hungry because you will definitely have leftovers which they put convenient containers.

It is located in downtown Asheville so there is no immediate parking lot but there are some places nearby or street parking, The inside is very modern and there is seating both inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and service was very prompt! My family got the Lo Mein with Chicken, Chow Fun with Beef, Sautéed String Bean, Buddha Bean Curd Rolls, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken. I loved the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings! The wrapper was very tender and the shrimp filling was delicious. It tasted very authentic to me. I also loved the Sautéed String Bean as it had the right amount of garlicky sauce. The Lo Mein was made with thinner than usual noodles but still tasted good. I think the Chow Fun tasted a bit off. It kind of tasted a bit sweet and like drunken noodles at some points as opposed to the traditional smoky flavor that the dish has. The rice noodles that were used were also thin as opposed to the usual wider noodles. As for the Spicy Chicken, it tasted solid. I liked the slight crisp before biting into each piece and it was not really spicy. I definitely tasted the cumin (I am not a super big fan of), which is a popular flavor found in Szechuan cuisine. Overall, I think this is a nice spot for some Chinese food, especially being near the mountains which is more isolated. I wish chicken feet were part of their dim sum menu (it is pretty small and there are no rolling carts in case anyone is wondering). I do think some flavors of the food I tasted seem to cater a bit more to the Western taste palate (my parents agree as well), but I enjoyed my time here.

My mom said Asia Kitchen is the best Chinese in the city now. Unfortunately if that is correct, then it makes me very sad. I have eaten at "Real" Chinese restaurants before and this is not close imo. I got Szechuan Beef...this is supposed to be a very spicy dish. My order was not spicy at all...not saying it was bland, but it didn't have the "kick" I was expecting. My mom shared a whole steamed fish with her friends. They did enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I have decided to bump my rating up to four stars because of the wonton/egg drop soup. I didn't even realize this was a thing. We got one large serving and it was plenty for the table. Finally the reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the table service. The others brought wine , but i ordered a Diet Coke when we were seated. Unfortunately it never arrived...our server acknowledged my order, but I guess she forgot during the dinner rush. I did have water so I didn't complain. Overall dinner was ok...it was very nice that we were allowed to take our time.
