First I wish I read more of the reviews. Glad I had it delivered and didn't go there. Moo Shu Pork was how it should look but taste of the sauce was off. The pancakes were awful, so thin they held nothing and no taste. The friend rice was dry and bland. No sauces or utensils. Just not willing to try any thing else. I cant believe people from NY are saying its some of the best just like they used to have. We ordered from China taste tonight based on the reviews and star ratings on yelp. So disappointed in some of the food. We ordered over 110.00 worth of food. We got two combos one was pork lomein which was fine however, the boneless spare rib combo wasn't good. The ribs were dry with absolutely no moisture in them. The egg rolls were so greasy. No crisp in them at all. The wontons and the crab Rangoon were also greasy. Either the fryer was not up to temp or the oil was old. The fried rice was ok and the fried chicken wings were good. Idk if the chicken and broccoli was good because I didn't eat it but it looked alright. I don't think I will be ordering from them again read more

First of all, it's hard to remember to take photos of your delivery order when you're so hungry you could eat a whole horse. But we distinctly want to recognize and show our gratitude to the restaurant for what we consider to be outstanding Chinese food. The definitive star of the bunch was the BBQ Ribs. Oi - drive you nuts kind of good!!! The shrimp with snow peas was bonkers good as well. The not so spectacular was the chop suey. First of all, whatever they delivered wasn't it. It was tasty and well seasoned but they didn't follow the traditional recipe. The wonton soup was hot and well seasoned- not a hint of MSG. Finally - huge thanks to Peter our Uber delivery driver who expeditiously handed our food in record time. I mean from the point of order to the actual hand over was completed in 20 minutes. I kid you not. I think this is also because of the QMenu app. Brilliant execution of what a food delivery app should be! China Taste is isn't a place I would seek out but it will do in a pinch though I might regret it a touch. I have ordered my standard test a new American Chinese food foods - wonton soup, egg roll, chicken and broccoli. The soup I didn't like and didn't eat. The egg roll was fine though a skinny almost spring roll size. The chicken and broccoli was sold but highly sugared and had a lot of msg. I also tasted the fried rice (bland, not good), the Lo mein (solid but msg heavy), bean curd family style type dish (also solid but sugary and msg heavy). So eh. Had a low-key Christmas this year so naturally turned to a traditional Chinese food dinner and was very happy to see China taste was open! Between two of us we got a general Tsos combo platter (comes with rice and a side soup), pint of sweet and sour chicken (comes with rice), pint of veggie lo mein and a side of brown sauce and with tip it was still under $30 for all of that- better yet all the food was good and tasted very fresh, plus the portions were HUGE. This was some of the worst Chinese food we've ever had the displeasure of eating. The Kung Pao tofu was the best dish we tried and it was very mediocre. All the vegetables in the fried rice looked old. The.l baby corn was a weird grey tinged color and the peas were shriveled. It also just did not taste like fried rice. Why was it yellow?! The broccoli in garlic sauce was so mushy and had such a strange taste I didn't even eat it. The white rice was prepared perfectly and that's the best I can say about this place.
