I'd only ordered to-go in the past, so when the place switched to takeout-only, there wasn't anything to adjust on my end. Its not much to look at, but the food is great, the prices are beyond reasonable, and the service is amazing. I LOVE coming here when I'm craving some Americanized Chinese food. I've been to nearly all of the hole-in-the-wall Chinese joints in this town, and this is by far my favorite. If you're choosing between places, choose this one. It won't disappoint. read more

China 1 is the only place I'll get my Chinese food from. They were my go-to for years and I was very disappointed when the location on Fisher Rd closed. I'd been going there 20 years. The food is consistently delicious. We always get the family meal #2. The chicken skewers are so delicious, I have added two to my order just to be sure I had leftovers. The meal comes with yummy donuts for dessert also It is family run and the owners are wonderful. I am so happy to have this little restaurant around the corner. 2nd review... came by again. This time ordered in and ate in. Still tasted like blah.. Not good food. Sanitation ratings were 92.5 I am a person that is know for a cast iron stomach. I love food in general and Chinese food is one of my weak spots. I will try any dive once in hopes for the wonder find. Read some of the reviews here before I went in and thought I would have a good chance for food that was good. I ordered three dishes for take out with rice. Got my meal in good order and felt happy. Then I got to the job site about 5 minutes away and opened up my take out. Not one of them tasted any good. I was totally bumbed. It all tasted the same and was just blah. Very disappointed. I have been coming here forever and never had a problem until tonight. Professionalism was very off with the woman who works here. Usually the guy is answers the phone and it's much more helpful and kind. If a customer doesn't understand something take the time to explain without shaking your head and walking off. My family and I love this place. We live close by and normally get our order to go. I would not recommend dining in as there is very limited seating. Yummy, fast Chinese Food at a great price. If you can get past dumpy interior of the place, you'll be pleasantly by the taste of the food. We eat there at least once a month and everything we've tried is awesome. Portion sizes are ginormous and we always have leftovers. read more
