Stopped here for a quick dinner and ordered some orange chicken for a change of pace. The good. The fried rice was nearly perfect and the egg roll had a great flavor. The bad. The orange chicken itself was just ok. It was basically general tso sauce with a few orange peels in it so I was disappointed. I also didn't receive and napkins, silverware, or sauce which was a problem since I was traveling. The ugly. Around 4 pm I ordered a combination rice dish from the house special, which was supposed to contain shrimp, chicken, and pork. It only had 10 tiny pieces of chicken, 5 tiny shrimp, and the pork was just microscopic slivers. The rice was super dry and the flavor was salty--a total fiasco. Paying almost $12 for that order was disgusting. Even the service was terrible; when I asked the manager about it, she didn't know what to say. I would never recommend them, as I would be embarrassed for them because of their horrible food. I will leave this post everywhere until they learn to cook properly and stop deceiving the people who come to buy from them. read more

Just got cheated on my lunch order today. They raised the menu Lunch price to $6.85 now and I added one egg roll $.50 and total came out over $8.00. All lunch comes with either Fried rice or plain rice but!! I ordered Pork Lo Mein and NO rice at all!!! I had a smallest box of fat noodle and that's it! WTH!!! Poor service by the way these people overcharges their customers with lousy food which they never get your order straight When ordering a dish of pepper steak you get very to no steak drowned in uncooked onions and bell peppers, the rice is mushy like playdo and stick not your traditional fried rice which should be cooked thoroughly. Fayetteville has very limited decent food places. This is the typical fast food Chinese take-out. It's okay when you're hungry. The food is prepared fairly quickly, so that's not bad when you're trying to get something fast. I typically get one of the shrimp dishes and I always get plain fried rice. Tonight somehow I ended up with plain white rice, which was so gummy. I got the kung pao which is spicy, so you need rice to go with it to buffer some of the spice. It was a pretty horrible meal for me to consume, but it was edible. read more

They always get my order correct! I love their food, I give them 4/5 only because it is takeout and not a dine in place. I have never, knock on wood, received anything incorrect. Ordered food and it was ready quickly but that's the end of the good impression. The regular take out containers that most places send home was half full of what I ordered and the other half was fried rice. So I got half the amount of beef with broccoli that any other place would give and I don't like fried rice. Why would they choose that for you? Most places give you white rice as a default. The food tastes great, although I can taste the veg oil it's cooked in bothers me. I seem to have some type of allergic reaction every time, so I had to stop getting food from here, I'm very concerned about it being cooked in veg oil, research on internet says foods cooked in veg oil, is bad for your health. The owners are not friendly to customers, that also bothers me, but as I said the food does taste great if you like Chinese. I'd rather them raise the prices and use a different oil to cook the food in. read more

Two stars is a generous rating for this place. We called our food in, and when we arrived they hadn't even started cooking it. The smell when you walk in is very off putting. We got seaseme chicken and general tso chicken. They used the same sauce for both which was nasty. I dont believe it was chicken, it probaly wasnt even meat They even messed up my crab Rangoon which I didn't think was possible. Our family loves this place. We live very close but even if we didn't this is still our "go to" for Chinese food. We are from California so what we didn't realize was chow mein is not the same here. I ordered that the first time and it was all onions and not noodles. That was my mistake though, now I know to order lo mein. I love that the food it cooked when ordered, not off a buffet line like fast food. If in a rush and you don't want to wait, you can order over the phone and it will be ready when you get there. Also the Chinese donuts are a MUST TRY! They are a guilty little treat and cheap. The amount of food you get is amazing, we always have leftovers for the next day. read more

Definitely have had better but I've definitely had worse. Portion sizes are huge for a decent price, but the food is a little too greasy for me. My wife really liked the fried rice, and the lo mien was pretty good too. There was a 15 minute wait time for our order.
