Casual dining. Food was tasty but the Som Tum salad was missing the peanuts. Panang sauce good and chicken tender. Sawadee duck sauce good but menu said "fried half deboned duck" which must have been a very small duck because it was basically half of a duck breast sliced with a very thick layer of fat. For the price I would have expected the leg meat as well. Asked and was told lemonade was made fresh in house, it was obviously made in house with a bright yellow lemon syrup and not fresh lemons. Service was friendly but we were only given a thin napkin and a fork. Needed to ask specifically for chopsticks, spoons, and more napkins. read more

When I first moved here 5 years ago, this place was a gem! In those days you can get a delicious lunch with a generous portion size (same as dinner portion), 2 spring rolls and dipping sauce for $7! Then they raised prices, decreased portion size of the lunch entrees, and stopped including the spring rolls. I know inflation is crazy, but rice is cheap. Bring back the portion size at least. read more

Overall pretty good. Started with spring rolls that were great! Had the red curry chicken was really good but full of the bamboo sticks. I got mild spice and it was perfect. The medium spice in the pad Thai chicken and the orange chicken was a bit much. Only thing was a had to flag them down to order and get water. read more

Great place to grab lunch. Service is quick and they are able to handle large orders. My office and I go there for Thai Tuesdays! Heat level is appropriate but keep in mind if someone in a large order, orders the same as you at a different spice level they are going to cook the dishes together so you may not know exactly which spice level you are getting until you dig in. read more

This place was my first experience with Thai cuisine and now I'm regretting not having tried in the past. I was told to go with the Pad Thai my first time ever, I added pork and it was amazing. The service was fantastic, we ordered and not but 20 minutes later our food was out. The surprising part to it is the fact that the restaurant was full, I mean packed. Ever since that first time, we have been back at least once a month. We even had a going away in the other portion of the restaurant which they easily accommodated and had the food out still within 20 minutes of ordering. Sawaddee is a very short drive (6min) off post so when I am too lazy to cook and even lazier to drive further I hit this place up. I recommend the shrimp fried rice, which can be made spicier! It is seriously tasty shrimp fried rice - you can't go wrong with this order. In fact I inhaled half the dish in one sitting. The spicy beef salad, which is usually one of my staple orders at Thai restaurants, was phenomenally salty here. I was drinking water for days. I received chicken pad Thai, no rice, and vegetarian egg rolls. I contacted Door Dash and they said to contact the restaurant. When I called, the lady refused to help me and said it was Door Dash's fault. My husband and I both got the E4 Pad Prik Sodd and loved it. He got level 3 of heat and I got level 2. I'd recommend level 2 for average American heat (medium Buffalo wing equivalent). The Pad Prik Sodd is a lot of vegetables and bamboo with less meat, but it's what we wanted. The service was very great and the staff is very attentive. We will be back! read more

A man I'm seeing took me here for my birthday, I suggested Thai because it's my favorite. The atmosphere was so nice and homely but beautiful. The woman taking our orders was so friendly, had a great vibe. A man popped out from the back who I assume was the cook, he was also friendly.
