We are new in the area, so we call (at 7:58pm) to make sure they delivered to our house, they said "yeah yeah yeah 8 minutes away". So we order online, place the order at 8:11pm. 30 minutes later we got a confirmation that at that point "estimated time delivery 70 minutes " so we're expecting the delivery at 9:24p. At that point we're falling asleep at the couch waiting for the delivery, I decided to call and cancel the delivery at 9:50pm, after I said that we ordered a delivery and we want to cancel it, she said " okay I got it". And hang up the phone. 5 minutes later we received a call from a guy asking if we still want the food that they give us 5 dollars discount. They really don't care about their business why support them?

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. General Tso's chicken and krabby rangoon are two of my favorites.

Speaking of someone who's been going to this place since I first came into my neighborhood in the 2000s, it was right down the block from where I live. Overall, I've always had mixed feelings about this place. It was definitely well kept and well decorated with a nice little solarium-like eating area. The eating environment was pretty clean and the staff was approachable for the most part. Food wise? That's...Where I tend to break on the matter. You see, while it was good with sandwiches, everything else was pretty mediocre; a lot of their traditional Greek dishes tend to have little flavor or be a bit watery, and they frequently relied on the microwave to serve it hot which is a huge no-no in the restaurant business. In my personal opinion, where Bread and Butter's strength lies, aside from sandwiches, was international products that it would sell on the side like authentic Turkish delights, pastries that were actually pretty tasty to eat and kept cold, and soups that would always be kept heated and guaranteed to be good. Ontop of that, their pastries were actually really impressive and I'm surprised just how little credit they got for that. I'm going to miss all that very much, and in truth I regret not trying their sandwiches instead. Although Bread and Butter wasn't my favorite place, nor would I consider it gourmet, it had its charm and it was definitely an iconic staple within Tarpon Springs and its community. To see it go is honestly saddening but no good thing lasts forever; That it was there to begin with is what matters the most.

I had toasted wheat bread, white and dark turkey meat, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It was delicious

The fish & chips was a generous portion of fish perfectly cooked - crispy exterior & steaming moist fish inside. Grilled Grouper sandwich was not as generous on the portion but was very well seasoned with a nice sauce with a little bit of heat/spice on the back side. Nice selection of 12 taps of Florida micro breweries. All in all good place for lunch but have to try dinner here sometime.

Our server, Jerrica, was wonderful and helped us choose from among the many appetizers as well as and the entree selections for my wife and myself. It was a better experience than we expected, and we had high expectations because of all the great reviews we had read. Please make the time to come on down here. (We were in NPR to kayak ourselves.) Yes, I wrote here because I'm writing this before we have finished dessert. Well, I should say our second dessert. We couldn't decide so we went with the Limoncello cake AND the homemade bread pudding, which is huge! We ate the first desert so quickly I didn't get a picture of it. Pics never look as good as the food IRL, but I put one in for posterity. (It looks pretty good!)

Without naming them individually I must say that they definitely knocked it out of the park. Well, tonight, Friday 7/31/2026, we just ate dinner at another absolutely superb Greek restaurant which might possibly be the best of the best, the G.O.A.T., only it wasn't at the sponge docks. It wasn't even in Tarpon Springs. We ate at a wonderful little Greek restaurant nestled in the middle of downtown New Port Richey Florida. Both our palates were very well pleased with our zucchini patties appetizer, setting the pace served with four delicately fried croquettes stuffed with cheese and fresh herbs. After thoroughly enjoying that delight, we were served with both our main courses. Hers being a chicken gyro platter served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pita bread, tzatziki, and lemon potatoes, and I opted for the moussaka, my favorite Greek dish. All that I can add to this review is that if you want to truly experience the heart and soul of the Mediterranean's finest cuisine, book yourself a table at Ela's Greek Restaurant, downtown New Port Richey. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy; Jim M. Service: Our server Tiana was wonderful and delightful !! Ambience: Pleasant and refreshing.

The service was excellent as always, but I just was not thrilled with the food this time. We tried the crab eggrolls I think is what it was called. Maybe it was lobster. I don't know. I ate half of one and gave the rest to my friend. I tried the three pepper crab soup I could not finish. It did not like it at all. I had the standard fried fish platter with grouper, scallops, and shrimp. This was actually delicious and so was the sweet potato fries and the macaroni salad and I typically do not like macaroni salad at all, but this was delicious. I took home smoked salmon, fish spread, and a large container of the lobster bisque. The smoked salmon spread definitely had more cream cheese than fish not bad tasting just disappointed on the amount of cream cheese. First time I've had their lobster bisque and it will be the last time. This is more like a lobster soup. It has so many chunks of celery in it and I've never had a bisque with large celery chunks before it wasn't bad tasting necessarily, but when you're thinking you're about to eat some bisque and it taste like this it's quite disappointing. I don't think they use Sherry in this particular bisque.
