Since moving to the area I've been looking for good Chinese food. I was about ready to give up but thought I'd try one more time. I decided to try China 1. After several bad Chinese dinners in the area, I didn't have high hopes. I'm happy to say that I was surprised and delighted! We had egg rolls, fried dumplings, General Tso's Shrimp, Happy family, Shrimp fried rice, and pork fried rice. The fried rice was exceptional. Rich in flavors, large pieces of meat, savory and crispy. The General Tso's shrimp was delicious! The Shrimp were enormous! The egg rolls were nothing special, but no complaints. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and everything was delivered in a timely manner. I would highly recommend China 1! read more

Place is absolutely trash. Ordered food from here twice both times they got the order wrong. The second time tried calling them back but they kept hanging up. Absolute trash establishment. Recommend eating from the Publix dumpsters right next store for a more satisfying meal and possibly better customer service from a local raccoon. read more

My first time getting food from here and I got food poisoning. The delivery driver took 40-50 to deliver when I was less than ten minutes away, not that I'm complaining about the time, I'm just confused at how it took forever to be delivered and was still raw . I just can't recommend this place when eating here had my head stuck in the toilet for a day. read more

Every time I come in here the food is amazing and the customer service is equally as good. My favorite is the shrimp and mixed vegetables with a shrimp egg roll. The house soup is really heathy, filling and great tasting! I highly recommend a stop in here for lunch or dinner! You WILL become a regular customer! Also, they make everything fresh to order!! Really fast delivery!! We loved the food their. I personally ordered the bbq spare ribs and I loved them! I can tell they were fresh because we all ordered at 10pm...an hour before closing and my spare ribs were juicy and saucy! Will be ordering there again! My wife and I have lived in Holiday for 15 + years. We have tried several others, but this place is the best we have found. We place take out there every couple of weeks and have always been very pleased. Note: If you prefer hot & spicy dishes, make sure you emphasize your heat " level" and they will accommodate. Worst bourbon chicken I've ever had in Florida. Beyond burnt. On top of that the lo mein had a burnt flavor. And the honey chicken didn't have a separate dipping sauce. They just poured like a tablespoon of sauce over chicken. Will never order from there again read more

Bought the General tso's chicken... not impressed... the chicken itself seemed to be cooked right but the sauce did not taste authentic at all and i was surprised to see that it was more of a red sauce ... I paired it with shrimp fried rice which tasted OK ... probably not going there again. read more

Call me a grudge bearer, but I hate this place and imo they hate their customers. As a chef myself I do understand that you cannot please everybody. At the same time, I get lazy or too tired to cook myself. About 3 years ago, and I am still irked. At the time I was too angry to post anything. So I did not want to post an angry responds. 3 plus years later I am still annoyed. I was so hungry, and ordered the garlic chicken. But asked if I could get noodles instead of rice, OK so 2-3 dollars extra, then asked how much extra garlic and ginger? That was another 3 dollars. OK so fine. My bill, for this was like 18 dollars, picked it up and paid. Don't know if most realize that wok cooking is actually easier than making a submarine sandwich, but it is. So picked it up and realize that they had forgotten the extra ginger which I was charged for and no garlic taste. Again I was starving and let it go. At the very bottom was a clump of pickled ginger that a cook didn't bother to mix in. How hard is that for the cook to do? They left off the garlic completely, maybe because they didn't understand? Point is, these people have NO responsibility, except for getting paid. From the reviews, they have NOT gotten their act together, not in 3 years. I came to china 1 may 7 th for dinner take out..a table was outside w menues..so i thought ok il get my order placed..but this owner lady or employee..said u need to call it in..so i did..she outside behing this table .saying your on hold..?. Then she started yelling at me in front of my wife. Saying somthing about her child having cova19.or somthing...dont care ..not my bus..and that im not wanted there..ya..at that point i got the bird from her ..and i said never again il eat or get food from there..crazy lady..working there..may 8 today ..i hope s h e wakes up ..were customers..trying to get a bit to eat..been in lockdown..and hungry..dont need. Don't order food at this place. Your food always arrives cold. They scream to you over the phone and get your order wrong because they don't take the time with the customer to take the order. Your food arrives later than the time they give you will arrive. The meat with broccoli has more broccoli than any meat. They tell me if you want your food hot you can pick it up, they are rude. Then what is the reason for them to have delivery, to take your money? They always said we are so busy today, they only care to make money but they don't care about the customer and to make good food for the customer. Listen to all the reviews with one starts they are absolutely true because it happens to me. I think when you pay for a services you should receive a good one and more when is for your family and is the food you eating. read more

First time at china 1 the american woman at the counter SOO friendly, i ordered pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Pork fried rice was very good. but being someone who doesnt like seafood at all, i found my chicken to taste a bit fishy . Of course i called them and told the lady at the counter and she offered to make a new batch for me but i was already home and didnt want to drive back so i dont know if the new batch would have been better. Don't bother with this place! to list it out ... the food is substandard some would dare to say disgusting, the food delivery time is not bad but that is because everything is premade and not made to order, service is basically non-existent and when you do talk to someone they are rude, and to top it all off, the prices were outrageous! I mean $12 for a chicken and broccoli with rice?!?! WTF?!?!? rice per pound is like a dollar and so is a pound of broccoli and the amount of chicken in the dish wasn't even a single nugget worth. so a dollar for the chicken it sounds like this dish should cost around $5-6. Make your own Chinese food at home. It will be cheaper, taste a lot better and get it sooner than you would from a place like this. read more

This restarant is very close to my home making it very convenient. But even if I had to drive 15 minutes, I wouldn't hesitate. Every thing is wonderfully fresh and prepared as you like it. (Personally, I like my veggies chopped into more easy to eat pieces rather than honker slicing.) The pricing is reasonable and the portions are generous. Very good. Mei Fun was very good. Didn't taste like Buffet style at all. Perfect English over the phone. Delivery fee applies. Was not told I was going to get charged 50 cents for using card over the phone. That was a bit ridiculous. I don't understand the spring rolls tasting more like egg rolls though. I think Spring Rolls should have rice noodles in them. They were good but just not what I think they should be.
