Delicious sushi. Lots of variety. The ambience was perfect for good conversation. About 10 tables. Attentive wait staff who didn't rush us. We will be back!

An unexpected location, and truly an unexpected level of deliciousness!! In an old small shopping center. We decided randomly to go, and parked closest to the location, luckily got the last inside table...YES they are busy! And No you cannot always make reservations, but you can call ahead. The place is small but quaint and really nicely done, it wasn't as loud as expected. The only thing I can possibly note was the longer than expected wait for food. So be prepared. We ordered some Sake, sat back and enjoyed some good chit chat. It was a nice crowd and it didn't stop. We ordered a ginger salad, and fried gyoza ...then came the what sushi rolls ...so many to choose from! With the Rooster's own flair for each dish. I ordered Supreme California Roll, Rainbow Ocean Roll, and Fried Rice with Shrimp & Chicken! We were soooooo full, but I couldn't stop eating it! Perfect! The service was great for how busy the place was and they were so kind! I highly recommend and anticipate this will be on weekly rotation! Go see & try for yourself, you won't be disappointed! It's worth the wait!!

This place is fantastic. And we do not have fantastic places around here in pasco, so it really stands out! Giving Tampa vibes all the way - I appreciate that we don't have to travel so far to have this experience. Highly recommended, we have been here multiple times having different dishes and never being disappointed with our selection.

Rooster Thai Sushi is a small non descript place in a non description shopping center. If my friend hadnt suggested I would have thought this was not open. You have to go through a gate and go all the way to the back past the non working fountain. This was the only lively place there. We went for lunch. Food was delicious, made well, and flavorful. Staff was friendly and polite. Place is really small and you can hear everyone's conversations. But I enjoyed our cozy lunch and would recommend.

Finally went in person to a local favorite. It was packed with customers and we waited 15 minutes to be seated, totally worth it. It was slightly before main dinner time hours, 415pm and already busy. We ordered our appetizers and they were delicious, Gyoza, crispy spring rolls, Shumai, all delicious!. Our main meal tonkotsu ramen was delicious and the broth was seasoned well. Our appetizers were quick and hit the spot. We really enjoyed the Supreme California Roll, perfection. The restaurant is hidden in the back of a small mall near a non working fountain, quaint and not very big, but cozy. We enjoyed our meal in person and glad we gave it a second chance post Covid deliv

Cute little restaurant. The staff was nice. Enjoyed my meal. Had spicy tuna roll for the first time and it was delicious. The crab fried rice was good. The shrimp pad Thai was why I gave it 4 out of 5, it was too sweet. Was not expecting it to be sweet. That was my only disappointment. But again the service and the quality of food was great.

The food was presented nicely and taste was on point. Not the biggest restaurant and the inside was full and steady. The service was prompt and knowledgeable. A must eat place.

The nook of yum is situated in the very back of a non-descript plaza with a mix of eclectic businesses and a tap room. The star is Rooster Thai! First off, appetizers. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame of the special board and the crab rangoon. Then we hit the sushi including some rolls and some nigiri. Every single thing was great. They had signs up saying they were short staffed and asking for patience. I didnt need any because the service was spot on. The sushi making was really really well done. This is the One if you live in Pasco or Hernando County and worth a trip for any sushi lovers coming up from Hillsborough or Pinellas County - Enjoy!

The best sushi in the Tampa area! Sunshine Dragon Roll was delicious! The Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had! Spicy Garlic Edamame is very tasty too. Service is very friendly & attentive.

This place was AMAZING!!!! The BEST crab Rangoon EVER! I also ordered the Panang Curry Chicken and it was delicious!! The BEST I've ever had and I'm not being dramatic about it. Out server is Janine and she was AWESOME!!!

First trip and overall was very pleased with the quality of fresh fish for our several sushi options we enjoyed. They have a lunch special with 2 basic rolls salad and soup for $13.95. Since the rolls available were very underwhelming we opted for options off the main menu. We also tried the the crab Rangoon and spring rolls and both were delicious. The dining room is a very small space with maybe 12 tables. Our server was pleasant but the rolls took quite a while to arrive at our table. They have no fountain drinks and charge $3 a can. Rolls were a large size and filled nicely. Unfortunately for them the plaza they are tucked back in is very not welcoming and dilapidated looking. Honestly it almost made my friend and I second guess going in. But overall we enjoyed our meals and lunch there.

I've been to this place twice now, (only because I don't live in the area) but is is very good! The staff are very nice as well. It's a very small restaurant, about 10-12 tables depending on the party size. The 1st time I went I got a poke bowl, but I decided to just get a sushi roll this time.

Massaman Curry - lacked any flavor and barely had chicken
    Ashley M.

Ordered the massaman Curry. It's described as "A mild, savory, slightly sweet, and rich with fragrant spices, potato, carrot, onion, and roasted peanut". I would completely disagree with the description. While there were tons of onions and carrots which were cute nicely, there was hardly any chicken (w small pieces), no potatoes and there was nothing I found fragrant or flavorful. The sauce was like watered down peanut butter. I also ordered it "spicy" and there was no spice to it at all. My partner ordered the chicken pad Thai and gyoza. The gyoza were okay, but very greasy. And the pad Thai was a large portion, but again lacked any flavor. The one positive was how quickly it was ready. But is that a positive if it's disappointing?

Always a great meal! I love the poke bowl the best, and the Tom Kha soup is so good. I always get the fried tofu as an appetizer.

I decided to go with 2 rolls for lunch; a basic yellowtail roll, and a spider roll, which comes with fried softshell crab. While I was waiting, the sushi chef provided me with a specialty piece of yellowtail that was amazing! My rolls came out quickly, and they were absolutely perfect. While less pieces than I'm used to, the yellowtail roll was packed with fish. And the soft shell crab was perfectly cooked, plus I love that they provided the deep fried legs, too. Everything I received was beautifully plated on slate dishes, which is always a nice touch. Yes, I do think its more expensive than other sushi places ($4 for a soda, come on?!) but it was really excellent sushi. If I'm ever in the area again (which, honestly, I hope not to be), I would definitely return.

Overall, I would say this place is really good and would highly recommend. We definitely will return in the near future.

I've never had a hard boiled egg that's brown and tastes like Carmel. It was not very good. That was really the only con to write about. Prices are eh, although portions are huge. I ate half and took half home. I also ordered a chai milk tea with added boba. The tea was tasty (I requested oat milk instead of lactaid in my tea). I'm not a huge boba fan, so no boba next time for me. They have specialty Pokemon drinks right now which my daughter ordered. She got the prism tower punch. It was a tart lemonade based drink. With a little bit of sweet. She really enjoyed it. She also ordered a rice bowl, grilled flank steak. It tasted good, but way more rice than actual food and veggies. She had a lot left when she was done. They have lots of drink choices which you can add boba to all. They also have appetizers along with several ramen and rice bowl options. The service was excellent, our server was attentive, funny, cleared all our empty plates, and was very on top of it. Our food came out fast!
