(Regularly $5.10) You can get 2 egg rolls or 3 wontons for a "side" instead of something like orange chicken or whatever meat you usually get. I didn't get my complete "To Go" order. When I called, the gal who answered the phone was incredibly rude. She said that there was nothing that could be done. When I asked to speak to the manager, the gal told me that was not necessary as the manager was going to tell me the same thing. So take note....if you want to pay for food you will not receive and be disrespected when you call to let them know - please go here! The purpose of my call was to let them know so that I could pick up the remaining items the next day as I am the care taker of my elderly parent and cannot leave home once I get there. I generally try to support local business, which is why I went to China Doll. My first experience there was great! The gal who helped me was so friendly and treated me like a valued customer. Really good. My favorite is the potato chicken and orange chicken. The orange chicken is really sweet which is what I like. They used to give out siracha to go but now it's just the packets of hot sauce which don't taste nearly as good in my opinion. read more

This is so NASTY! We were waiting in line for the Tueaday bowl Special. The lady behind the counter dropped a bowl of chow mein on the counter. The other girl.grabbed the tongs out of the chow mein pan and scooped it back in the bowl to throw it away. When some of the chow mein fell onto the trash can she grabbed it off the trash with the same tongs. Then she stuck the exact same tongs back in the pan of Chow mein. I got sick to my stomach. It was so DISGUSTING. When I said something to the other lady she just rolled her eyes and wiped them off with a towel. They didn't clean them or nothing. I used to really love coming to this place, been coming here for years, great food, great and nice staff, and the place is mostly clean in general. But today is gonna be my last day coming or eating here. I got a plate and some egg rolls from them today-only thing I've eaten all day-and before I even finished I already started feeling sick. My stomach started hurting and I started feeling very dizzy. I immediately took to the bathroom to try and solve the problem, but I still felt very sick. Long story short I ended up projectile vomiting the whole thing all over my bathroom. The whole plate of orange chicken and ruby chicken, all over my bathroom floor. This is a definitely a rare occurrence from this place, but I don't take any chances and I'm never gonna go back there. read more

I love the vegetable soup i ordered sesame orange chicken, with beef and broccoli and chowmein noodles the soup I needed it because I've been having so much bad heart burn so I order it with grilled chicken it's so good the vegetables soup tastes good and the chicken it taste good without the chile or other spices.the beef and broccoli taste fresh and crunchy especially the broccoli which I prefer fully cooked cause my acid will really hurt.the chowmein is good but I'm undesicive on thin or thick noodles.the Orange chicken was actually good not over cooked or too dry or like if they've reused it it was good now I don't eat it all just enough like a 8 oz.or less Of everything too taste it for u guys.. now one 's the acid is in check for a few days I start eating what I want only for a while so it will be under control. p.s. Went to this place just because I want to support the restaurants in the area, and it'll be the last time I'll visit. The lady that helped us out was not friendly at all. She looks irritated, annoyed and unpleasant. I had to ask her nicely if she's having a bad day because she's slamming the lid of the rice, and looks annoying when serving my plate. It makes me think "what did you put in my food?" With that kind of a attitude serving me, and I'm just trying to help support your paycheck, I'm not in the mood to go in this place ever again. Also note that I overheard some people behind me asking her the same thing "are you having a bad day." A few times here, never again going to visit. Teach your employees good customer service and we as customers will come back again! read more

Food was good. They serve you good portions. The ladies in the counter do not greet the customers kind of like meh! But I ordered and ate my food which was not bad. There was this lady that kept digging from the trash building up a plate from the leftovers that people left behind and she kept refilling her drinks and walking in and out requesting sauces to the worker I just thought that they shouldn't allow them to sit around.. actually right at the door.. it's kind of scary trying to eat there specially when there are no other customers eating at the same time. I went to this spot after I got off of work and I went in to get a plate of food and what I received wasn't up to par I guess you would say I paid like 8 dollars for a half and half plate and the plate was small definitely not worth 8 dollars. Their service is friendly and welcoming. Tuesday they have a discount on their bowls, which brings many costumers. One of their rare crowded days. My favorite dishes are their specialty ones. Like Orange Shrimp and Mayo Shrimp. Delicious! I highly recommend them. I will say that the food is pretty much okay all around, but sometimes there is an inconsistency. I haven't been to their bathroom lately, but from what I remember it's full of graffiti, FULL OF GRAFFITI. Really bad, they need to clean that thing up. Maybe it isn't like that anymore, but beware. Just keep your eyes open, I've heard some things that I didn't like about the service and a few years ago I got a FLY in my sweet and sour sauce. So like I said, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN! Good chow mein, great chicken Ruby chicken is sweet, seaseme chicken is in between sweet and not at all spicy, orange chicken might be a bit spicy for the kids but they can probably handle it. This is hands-down THE BEST chinese fast food I've ever had. Their orange chicken is amazing and spicy, their chow mein is nice and clean, and their portions are big. The store front is clean and the kitchen looks very clean as well. They're always very friendly, and as I said before, very generous with their portions. I love this place. Deals on bowls on tuesday but it gets packed. The food is great. I love chinese food and while this is not authentic cuisine it definitely hits the spot. I reccommend the chicken terriyaki, orange chicken, or black pepper chicken. Also the chow mein and wontons/egg rolls are knock outs. This is a really good place to buy dinner too, because of the prices on take out. Free refills, but only one MAJOR complaint (as a long time customer) they need to set up a unsweetened ice tea/brewed tea stand next to the sodas because right now it is not an option. Also, maybe sell boba tea or thai teas etc. Just some advice! read more

First time here was today, haven't even gotten home but I'm writing this review because of one simple action.. As the cashier took my atm to charge me, she swiped it and then held it in front of the register out of my view. Right after she pulls her phone out and is also out of sight.. After a few seconds she puts her phone away and hands me my atm as the receipt is printing. Now I am typically not paranoid but first thing came to mind was she took a picture of my info.. Of the Chinese food take out places we've tried so far, this is our fave. The only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is because there have been a handful of times when the food was mislabled (black pepper chicken was actually made with beef) or the rice was under cooked, or the teriyaki chicken was fatty. I've had to bring down my rating because of the deterioration of the quality of food and service at this place. The women working there rarely offer you a smile, which in my opinion is essential for a good customer service experience. For the past few months, whenever I go in there, whether during the day or evening, the food always looks cold and old, and only about a quarter of each pan has food. They also don't serve as much as they used to. Most of the time I end up preferring to drive a few blocks more to the other chinese food place near foothill and riverside. read more
