    Baked Mussels (6 Pieces)
    Alicia K.

Alright I decided to give this place another try, to see if maybe there was just not enough miren added the first time I came to eat. I started off with 2 hand rolls , spicy yellowtail and a spicy salmon skin. 10/10. Each bite had protein and there was that miren taste. I later ordered baked mussels and was very satisfied that I did. Mussels were better than last time, I mean just look at the presentation. I can tell the staff definitely remembered me too and constantly checked if everything was good. Outdid themselves today, just what I needed on a weekend off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was clean, nothing missing during this meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Was craving Sushi and drive by this spot all the time. Today we finally decided to try. It was a Sunday afternoon around 230pm. Parking is a bit of a challenge, there's another restaurant that shares the parking. We got AYCE which is $39.99 a person The rolls we got were good. But not spectacular if that makes sense. Service was ok, she only checked on us once. We only did one round , we should've just ordered the rolls it would've been cheaper than the AYCE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a hot day and the restaurant was cool and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every restaurant is worth a try , it just wasn't my fave.

As a person who never really enjoyed sushi as much this restaurant by far makes me want to keep eating sushi. The service is always excellent they go above and beyond to make sure our dine in experience goes smoothly. The food is just superb. Everything tastes fresh and is presented beautifully. This is my go to spot for some good sushi. I'm also allergic to shrimp and they are always cautious for me. I highly recommend. Chefs are fantastic always on point and servers as well. You could tell they put their heart into their work!

I'd like to start off with saying our waitress was super nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place wasn't busy when we arrived so we had our choice of seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't have the sushi, but my son and grandson did and they both said it was decent. I ordered the teriyaki beef and was disappointed that it wasn't steak, but more like an upgraded yoshinoya meat. We also ordered shrimp tempura and the tempura wasn't crispy. Our bill was $106. Might go back if I'm in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way.

First time here. Visit Red Castle next door frequently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The exterior is not great in curb appeal but once you step in the environment is calm and soothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is quite extensive. So much to select. I tried vegetable tempura and the Alaskan roll. My friend had spring rolls and a baked Philadelphia Avocado roll. Delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Waitress sociable. Really surprised us...the whole visit. Coming back to try the udon. TY!

My friend and I wanted to go to the Korean BBQ restaurant that was next door but the wait was long than expected; Fuji Sushi was right next door so we decided to try it out. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted and seated within a few minutes. Their menu is extensive and has options for almost everyone. Even though it was a little packed because it was a Sunday night our server was fast with our order and grabbing anything we needed.

The sushi was great! Definitely coming back to this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They played good music and the staff were kind![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got AYCE for $40 per person.

I was in the mood for some sushi and I came across this place. The pictures of the food looked really good and I was so impressed that they had a happy hour for some of the sushi that I typically eat. I'm glad I called in because although I was looking at a 4 year old menu, the happy hour changed from 2:30 pm to 2 pm. Captioned within the picture as well said they offered take out too which I was really looking forward to because I just wanted to eat in my comfort zone. The employee also let me know that they no longer do take out and it's dine in only. I gave in and ate inside. I was helped right away and it wasn't that many people inside (I came in right at 2pm). I sat right at the bar and immediately noticed the rules they had. I recall one of the rules being that if you don't eat all your food, they will charge you full price. I've never been to a restaurant like this before so I was definitely more mindful of the food I was going to consume there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment is real chill. The music was good with other people enjoying their conversations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a drink and only ordered the California roll. The other employee (I'm assuming is a chef) brought my plate and he was nice and also checked in on me to see if I wanted more food. The waiter who took my order was also pleasant as well. I ate all my food and placed a to go order. Overall, I wouldn't mind going back.

    Fried 8-9 Pieces Calamari Tempura.

I really like my Alaska roll and the baked one. The Alaska roll came with a mustard sauce on the side that was very good. I didn't like the fried calamari the inside wasn't fried , the calamari itself was super chewy for my liking. I've had better at other sushi restaurants. Other than that pretty good!

Reading some of the previous reviews gave me a chuckle. What do you mean it was too cold inside?…read moreYou're about to stuff your face over an open fire grill. Don't want to be sweating while you're eating. Coming from highland/redlands, I am happy that there is a ayce kbbq spot in close proximity. Starting with cons: the parking is absolutely terrible. Parking spots are cramped and there's simple not enough spaces, especially during peak times. Pros: now as a long time ayce bbq lover, I understand that red castle quality is not top tier and I don't expect it to be when I go. I view red castle as an affordable joint to get my brisket and beef belly fix, which are the only two items that I basically get. It's odd reading about others experience with service, because every time I go, the service is always fast. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down. But to enjoy ayce protein for ~25 bucks without having to clean and prep a solid meal, many would realize the true gem that is Red Castle. I remember when their ayce was 13-15 bucks when they opened. Those were the days. I'm also glad that they allow single dining during the week. Not something that I'm able to take advantage of most of the time bc of work but I'm glad it's offered. To all the kbbq snobs (I'm one of them still). Go pay 40 for ayce somewhere else and be happy. Red castle is my go to for a quick fix that is close to home and affordable.

I wouldn't call this place BEST in the IE even if call it a place that's somewhat budget friendly in addition to a service fees and adding on the tip for service that's bare minimum. Quality of meats very fatty & poor & the ban chan (side dishes) are extremely overly saturated with sauce and Kim chi that wasn't fresh it was more on the SOUR and just disgusting in flavor , texture and color it doesn't seem Authentic if you know the difference of real Kim chi from other restaurants. Made several attempts to flag our server which seemed flustered and overwhelmed just for ordering extra meats and replenishing our beverages was such a huge in convenience. For KBBQ definitely in this order I'd say .. local restaurants I'd rather go to Wang Cho in riverside or chino hills U grille 2 spots in Rancho Cucamonga and As far as ayce self serve Koreana grille Riversde . If you wanna travel out hit up Orange County , Rowland heights , LA , SGV for the real deal . Would i dine here again , negative it's disgusting and poor quality of meats very fatty and rubbery texture and ban chan & soups that aren't authentic this restaurant is catered to a particular budget demographic and everything isn't just poor quality. The fish tasted fresh, portions were good, and everything came out pretty quick even though they were busy. All you can eat is the way to go n We ordered a mix of rolls, plus some appetizers, and nothing missed. The sushi had a good balance--not too much rice, not overloaded with sauce, just clean flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The place itself is pretty casual, but that actually adds to the vibe. If you're in the area and want reliable sushi without overpaying, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. I'd come back.

The sear was perfect, and the green onion topping and sauce, along with the small slice portions made this easy and fun to eat. Definitely try this in your first round! 5/5 - Shooting Star (front) - Very savory and delicious! If you like the cajun flavor with the spicy aioli sauce, this won't disappoint. The crunch from the tempura shrimp with the texture profile of the crab and rice makes this a very satisfying roll! 5/5 - Carpaccio - This was actually one of the best carpaccio dishes I had gotten, and I think it is due to the seasoning. You only get one order per person which is typical of other AYCE sushi places, but definitely something to savor! 5/5 - Bluefin Tuna - This is limited to one order per customer, but it was the first time I had eaten a bluefin tuna at an AYCE restaurant that tasted like bluefin tuna from Japan. This is more toro than chutoro/otoro, however it did have that distinct bluefin tuna taste. Impressed! 4/5 - Dynamite - Interesting baked roll dish. Served under a small flame that dies out, it was a very savory, easy-to-eat dish with chopsticks. However, it felt a bit overcooked by the end of the flame, which understandably can be hit-or-miss. Definitely try it out, as this kind of dish is typically rare in AYCE restaurants. 5/5 - Del Rosa and East Highland - These are both the same No Rice Roll just with different wraps. The fish serving was generous and we were impressed! The sauce complemented both perfectly. 4/5 - X-Girlfriend and X-Boyfriend - Pretty much the same No Rice Roll but with different fish. Kind of tastes the same from the other No Rice Rolls so I would just get one order to try it out. 3/5 - O.M.G., Pizza, and SBD Hill - About the same flavor profile with the creamy sauce with the seafood that is placed on top of California rolls. You can probably do with just one of these rolls whichever appeals to you. Of course, it is not exactly the same, but we didn't really care to figure out which was which as we were eating it. 2/5 - Flying Dragon - Was not particularly impressed with this dish. There was a lot of rice served for a thin slice of eel and white fish. The sliced onion was OK, and it did not seem to complement the dish significantly. It seemed more like a separate item placed on top of the roll. 3/5 - Cajun Tuna Nigiri - Decent tuna nigiri. I thought the slices were very thin, so the sear actually went through the whole fish rather than just at the surface which would have made a two-texture profile bite. However, it just seemed dry due to the seared thin slice. 3/5 - Cajun Salmon Nigiri - Same issue with the cajun tuna nigiri. It was seasoned well with the cajun, but the thin slice of the salmon made the sear more of a "cook" rather than a seared surface. 4/5 - Regular Salmon Nigiri - Typical salmon nigiri flavor with regular portion of rice. I think it is beaten out my other AYCE sushi restaurants that are generous with their fish portion and provide minimal rice. 1/5 - Shrimp Boat - This dish was very disappointing. While it is advertised as shrimp with crab meat, our whole group found that it was an overwhelming amount of crab meat and could barely pick out the shrimp. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 1/5 - Lobster Ball - This dish was also disappointing. While it is advertised as lobster with crab meat, we barely found a difference between this and the shrimp boat aside from shape. Even with the pictures, the size was larger than we expected. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 3/5 - Calamari - Huge portions but could have been salted more. Good crunch but I would hesitate on finishing this portion because you might get full! 3/5 - Shrimp Tempura - We ordered 4 orders of this and only received one order (2 pieces). Decent fry and could also be salted a bit more.
