I recently moved to the area and wanted some good Chinese. This spot is good for your basics and satisfies a craving.

I ordered food for pickup through DoorDash. on my way to pickup, I fell and broke my foot and had to be rushed to the emergency room. The staff was completely unempathetic and told me it wasn't their fault I couldn't pick up the food and they would not be refunding me. My order was over $50. Horrible people. read more

I'm new to the area and tried the chicken Fried rice and eggrolls. The Fried rice had no flavor. Look at the color. I think it would taste better if I got it out of a box in the freezer section at the grocery store. The egg rolls were okay. Maybe I need to try something else next time. Kitchen. We ordered $90 worth of foods for Super Bowl. We wished we never did. The Lo Mein was over cooked, the egg rolls was so small barely any meat looks like just cabbage in it, the Egg Foo Young had egg shells in it, barely any sauce in the four season & Moo Goo Gai Pan it was like we got yesterday leftovers and our foods was very dry and most of all no flavor. We were extremely disappointed. Now, we have to find another Chinese restaurant for take out. read more

Just got off of work and was feeling awfully hungry. My co workers have this strange obsession with this place and claim that its the best. Somehow, I'm not convinced. This was my second time trying China Dragon. The first time I had sweet and sour chicken, wontons and sesame chicken. The chicken didnt "wow" me at all. Just tasted okay. That's the impression I got from it. Just your average chinese restaurant with typical american chinese food with no orginality. That was many months ago. After listening to both my co workers raving about this place today, partnered with my empty stomach, I caved in and figured I would give this place a second chance. I ordered the House Special Mei Fun and the Singapore Fried Rice (spicy fried rice apparently). I hurry home to dive into my dishes. I was pleased with the mei fun. Had shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables in it. It wasn't too greasy and had a pretty good taste. The beef I could tell was that cheap beef with the red marks on it that is synonymous with all chinese places it seems. Noodles were good. Then I tried the fried rice. I was expecting it to be spicy but there was NO SPICE! It tasted alright but I was looking forward to that kick in my fried rice. So I loaded it up with Franks Red Hot Sauce because I wanted spicy rice damn it! After this meal, I feel the same as I did before. This is just a ho hum chinese joint. The food is alright and is reasonably priced but is no different from the dozens of other america. chinese food places in the area. If you are in the area and need some standard chinese food to fill you up, I guess this is the spot. read more

The food is as boring as the decor, bordering on sub-par. First visit today. I was not impressed at all. Look at my photo of the dining area. It's totally antiseptic and free from any decorations, style, or individuality. The food is the same. Worse, our Fantail Shrimp appetizer was 2/3 dough and the batter was uncooked dough in the middle. Yuck! When I was working on my biology degree at the University of Minnesota, one of the biology department grad students (a funny dude) had only one criteria for food. Lovely first- time experience. We got their bao bao platter and found ourselves loving the teriyaki chicken! I loved the fantail shrimp as well as the spring rolls, too. Their pork fried rice was done just the way I and my husband prefer and we couldn't stop eating it! The star of the show was the lo mein, though, and we both agree we will need to get it again! read more

Ordered on a Sunday Night. Our DoorDash guy, Thomas, was amazing. Out food arrived pipping hot and delicious. We did the wonton soup, vegetable low mein and my mom always does something weird but chicken and mushrooms. Everything was fresh and delicious and good portions. My husband and I ordered from China Dragon for the first time tonight. The food was very disappointing to say the least. I ordered chicken Pad Thai. I still do not know what they used for chicken but it didn't look or feel like chicken, I couldn't eat it. My husband had sesame chicken. He thought it was alright but they put in fried rice when we asked for white, also he said the fried rice was horrible. I will not be ordering again. read more

First time and very disappointed. I ordered chicken chow mein with fried rice and eggrolls and wontons. Quantity was large, but the chow mein was tasteless, as was the fried rice. Very little chicken. The egg roll was fairly good and the wonton was flavorful. Also, I waited for the food and took home (very close) and it was barely warm. Disappointing. read more

The hot and sour soup is very good. I've only ever had the take out so can't talk about the decor. (you can't eat decor though so not sure why that matters) The cream cheese wontons are good as well. Everything has been reasonably priced and good quality, and since it's 0.2 miles from my house it is my go to Chinese food place now. read more

We love this place! We get cravings so have ordered the same things every time we get it. It took awhile for us to try because we tried the one in Elk River and did not care for it. The won tons are delicious, the sweet and sour chicken is really good, the Mongolian beef is good and the mei fun is AMAZING!! I don't know how they make something so simple, so good! One thing people should know is that even things listed as spicy are not spicy at all. The bonus is that you get a ton of food for a really reasonable price. Maybe someday we will try other things and then I can broaden my review! read more

The restaurant just opened (grand opening), but already had pretty steady business for the evening supper rush. They offer dine in or take out, but no buffet and no delivery. There is an extinsive menu, but you need to pretty much aready know what you like, as the menu items do not include descriptions (e.g Beef Kung Pao is on the menu, but there is no description of what veggies are included in their recipe). Staff there were very friendly, and service was quick (I think I waited about five minutes from the time I ordered my take out to the time I got it). The restaurant itself is somewhat small, with roughly five tables for four, but is very clean. The food was very good, but not my new favorite. Still, for the price paid, the amount of food I got, and speed and friendliness of service, I think it's a good deal, and will likely be back for more. read more
