My wife and I stopped by Pho Viet 126. She had the sample platter and I went with the vermicelli noodles with chicken and shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean, and you could tell the staff took pride in helping customers and keeping the tables cleared and ready.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was solid the whole time. Guys, check this place out! Located in a tiny strip mall in Blaine with terrible parking, that is the only true negative! Prices are very reasonable and food is very very good. Service was quick and polite and I waited less than 10 minutes for my entire takeout order. This restaurant is my new favorite Vietnamese place in MN. It is a little ways out from the cities but if you're ever in the area I would urge you to give it a go and to come hungry! They had each of the components correct on the plate and the grilled pork chop was perfectly sweet and salty. I definitely ordered too much but I had a few bites of the banh mi and that was really delicious as well; the bun is well toasted and the inside is generously filled with meat, sauce, and veggies. My biggest complement about this place are the price and portion size. I would definitely only order one thing next time, as even one dish can be difficult to finish on its own. I was a bit hesitant but I'm glad I tried it via Door Dash. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and it came with more than I bargain for. There were shrimp, fish ball, quail eggs, and roasted pork. I've dined here multiple times in small and large groups since they moved into the bigger space. One thing that I always stood out to me is being served with not very clean dishes. I've had dirty utensils, plates, water served in cup with food cling upon sitting and etc. This is probably a major star loss for me, especially if it happens more than most of the times I've dined in. Overall, food and service is generally good. Of all the soup based dishes, I do really enjoy the wonton soups more. It's very flavorful and definitely full filling. I haven't tried the bahn mi sandwiches but the kids really enjoy it. They generally get very busy during weekends and you might have to get on the list. Although my wait times were never too long. The waiting space is very spacious as it's a shared common space with a sugar cane based specialty drink next door. With my recent visit, I've noticed more chairs are added for waiting. Parking lot is very small and if you happen to come on the busy weekend, finding a spot might be tricky. read more

I told my fiancé and as he was pulling it from being tangled in the noodles, the hair got longer. My fiancé told the server and he apologized and took it to show the lady that seated us. Then he came back and said, "It long like your hair so it probably yours. But I get you new one." BABES... I have black hair. How can it possibly be mine? I got irritated at the rude comment he made but ignored it since we got a newly made bowl of pho. Now onto the actual food review. The pho was a 3/5. It was good but not as good as everyone had been hyping it to be. It felt like the pho was missing something. My fiancé and I kept adding more ingredients but it still wasn't right. Service here is not only fast but the staff is very fast on service. I visited with my brother and was seated promptly and given a menu right away. I had never tried pho before, so I followed my brother's recommendation and just got a regular pho with chicken. His had beef. The bowls here are HUGE. There's way more in there than I could eat. The broth is good but i made the mistake of not asking for it without cilantro (I hate it) so there was a ton of cilantro but I won't fault them for that, it was totally my bad.
