This is one of my fav Chinese restaurant. Every time I come to Reno or any where nearby I make sure to visit this restaurant, this time I came with my 3year old. I was so touched my their gesture as we ordered food for two people and some shrimps for my 3 year as she usually eats rice so as their quantity was more than enough I shared my rice with her. But the waiter served separate soup and a small glass of water with a straw so that my kid can drink from it. that touched me a lot. Their service was super fast and I always get calm surrounding. They also have a curb side pick up.

Excellent food for a great price Use to come here with my dad all the time. So to honor him let's eat our lunch special! Everything is always delicious

The egg flower soup has some wonderful flavor! And many bits. Best I've had in quite some time!

All the other Asian places closed on Sunday? Not this one! And what a treat! Oh how wonderful! A REAL Chinese restaurant! I've been driving past this place for years and wondered about it. Finally went and I'm just gonna say it will be a long time before some of the others get me to come back as this is an EXTENSIVE MENU! Written in English and Chinese, the server and cooks are Chinese and were talking away, in their native tongue, while we ate our meal, an added bonus for the ambiance. I fell in love with the place right off as they bring you water, no straws, and hot tea without you asking! The dishes all match with that red border seen in many Chinese diners. Ok. So. The food!!! Starting with a most flavorful egg flower soup! So tired of others not bringing it with the flavor, this was yummy! I ordered the Shrimp Chow Fun (Chow-He Fen, I'm guessing is the right and proper name of the dish as listed in the menu) we often order this to see if a place is good and WOW! Shrimp was cooked perfectly the Wide rice noodles were perfection and although they receive their noodles on Tuesday they were not sticking together on Sunday! The sauce was so good and I'm guessing it was the best onion in Carson City that night as it was sweet and just right. Tasty! Ray ordered the Sweet and Sour Trio which in this day and age we did not have to ask for rice to accompany it, as most used to do, they just brought it (no extra fee I might add). Chicken, pork and nice big prawns battered and red with sauce, could have licked the plate. Not crowded, no wait at all, Our food was quick and hot. A table of two and then eight came while we dined and it was not noticeably noisy. The chairs may be a newly done upholstery, eggplant and gold, very attractive, comfortable. No booths. Just tables. Oh! And in summer you can eat outside in their patio or anytime you can do drive thru! A VERY happy experience and reasonably priced. Thank you China East for hosting us and making our experience authentic!

I love this place- mu shu pork and chicken both tried on different days. Excellent! Why?? They take extra care of the vegetables! Singed vegetables are perfect on both. How do do that and they are still crunchy ? Rarely do I dream about leftovers but I did with this. What more could you ask for! Oh free tea ! You get it.

Food is good at a good price, but the older lady who serves through the takeout window can be very rude

Very good dry fried beef chow fun. Generous portions (feeds 2 ppl easy). My only gripe was it was a bit pricey at $16 after tax.

I have a short layover here in Carson City and I gave my crew the afternoon off cause we just had…read moreto wait for a few things. So, my local friend wanted to take me to this Thai restaurant right down on the main street in downtown, if Carson has an actual downtown that is. We got parking right in front of the place on the main street. Inside is nice and elegant in a Thai kinda way. Nicer than a casual mom and pop Thai joint. We get seated at a nice table near the front. My friend already knows the menu, so I go with hos suggestion for the Lunch special Duck with sauce over rice. It's $22 bucks, so it better be good! He has the Thai battered salmon for around $19. Soup is included and it's just a veggie broth, though tasty. Then our lunch specials come out. Oh wow, that duck look really good. It's totally deboned, so no messing with bones at all. The sauce was super tasty. My friend said he thinks its some sort of duck juice reduction with other added stuff. Whatever, this was one of the most tasty duck dishes I've ever had. His salmon was unique, I never saw a dish like that made with salmon. The coating was very unique and crispy and the salmon not over cooked. Overall, I really liked this place. I think my crew is having lunch at one of the local casinos, I'd rather be here!

Thai is one of my fav cuisines so when I saw that there was a Thai restaurant in the area, I had to…read moremake the drive. We ordered some food for the kids and I got the Duck Curry. The bill came to $80 which I felt was kinda steep for 3 items, especially in Carson City. The restaurant is located on a street where there was very limited parking in front and all the rear parking is super dark so bring your night vision goggles. At least there's plenty of parking spots. When I walked in, I was surprised to see Caucasian staff members! Well I guess this isn't that different than Panda Express where you have hispanics in the front and the 1 token asian in the back cooking. I picked up my food and was pleasantly surprised to find the dishes were pretty loaded. I started dipping into my duck curry and OMG it was probably the best I've had. Not only was the flavor amazing and spiced just right, but there was a generous amount of duck! When I went to eat dim sum recently and ordered roast duck, I got a plate of duck that was mostly skin and bones. Here they actually de-boned the meat so you're getting nice chunks of flavorful, meaty duck along with fresh chunks of pineapple, tomatoes, and spices with that yummy curry over my caucasian rice (I like to be culturally sensitive). Even my wife that don't like duck really enjoyed this. So while $80 for 3 dishes may seem a bit high, it was worth it. I really enjoyed my meal here and my kids also ate all their noodles with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

I loved the fried rice since it dint have a lot of peas-carrots... which I don't like. Soup was hot and I liked it. Cashew shrimp was good I ordered it without carrots so there was lots of celery. It was tasty to me, I will be back to try something else. Prices were good and portions were plenty. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Quality/Quantity - 5 stars when we first discovered this place a year or two ago. Today it was a 4 star experience, as it was too soy saucy and salty for me. And I love soy sauce and salt!! Combo Chow Mein - Generous portions. Had at least 4 shrimps. I also really like the cuts of their meats, both the chicken and beef were thinly cut and tender. They sell boba drinks, donuts, Vietnamese and Chinese food... etc. They also have a very limited dim sum menu. They also have a lunch menu. Atmosphere - Small local business, sit down is now reopened. Open 6 days a week from 6am to 9pm; closed Sunday. Yelp and their menu hours differ a little. So call to confirm... Plenty of parking. Service - Good, we have only ever done take-out here. They seem to have a very good take-out business, but I am patient. Price - As you can see from my 1-5 year old menu pictures, prices have gone up from $10 to $16 for my combo chow mein meal. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location for 14+ years. I look forward to trying your donuts and Vietnamese food in the future.
