Amazing friendly service! Greeted as we walked in, even though it was during the lunch rush. There were several tables occupied so that was a good sign that this local spot was a good choice. We were only interested in take-out, as it was a quick stop on our roadtrip and they truly delivered a quick option. It took no more than 10 minutes to get our meal. Both, the Panang and Yellow curries were very flavorful and filling! We had plenty and were able to share the meals. They ask what your preference of spice is and we went with level 3, as it was our first time stopping here so didn't know how spicy they make their meals. Level 3 was actually perfect because we enjoyed a minimum spice and not overwhelming at all. I've been here a couple of times for lunch when I'm in town for work. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though it might be a bit busy during lunchtime. I've heard great things about the avocado curry from my co-workers but have not tried it yet. Maybe next time when I'm there! I've tried the Tom Yum Soup, which hit the spot when I was sick, and the Pumpkin lamb was also delicious. The Thai iced tea was also great! I was staying in the Minden Gardnerville area for a night and was yelping Thai places near me and this place popped up. It's really the only Thai place in this area, unless you wanna drive 20 minutes north to Carson City. Located behind a ARCO Gas station, it was easy enough to find with plenty of parking. We were seated fast and given menus and water. Looking over the current menu, I was reminded on Yelp that the only menus posted are all years old and out of date as far as the dishes offered and the prices, so I posed pics of the current menu for you guys. We started with the veggie tempura appetizer. Whoa! That this was huge portion as it arrived all hot and ... well, super hot. The veggies were all crispy and not too greasy. We also ordered the appetizer spring rolls. They were OK, thought they had too much lettuce and need more other filling. The dipping sauce was good though. For entrees, we ordered 2 things to share ..... weird I see people ordering single entrees at Thai places (like here) and they don't share, each person just gets their own plate ... Heck, you only get to taste one thing that way! We ordered the Spicy Noodles (aka Drunken Noodles) 3 stars spicy and the "Evil Jungle" stir fry. This dish was described as made with coconut milk so I was expecting a medley of Thai ingredients in a curry type sauce, but it wasn't at all. Still it was tasty and had good textures and the sauce that was there went well with the included rice. The Spicy Noodles were stir fried properly with a nice seared flavor and appropriate spicyness. It could have used a little more basil, but that's just me. Service here was super fast, that guy really moves! I'd come back here if I was in the area again. read more

Terrible food. I was hopeful, but compared to other area Thai restaurants, we choose to drive to Carson City or Reno. To be fair, I haven't tried "every dish" they make but...! The ones I did were disappointing. I took my kid and my girlfriend's (now my wife) youngest son here for his first experience of Thai food. Wrong move. Thankfully my son who's experienced good Thai food both overseas and in CONUS was able to talk him in to trying it once more at a restaurant that we vetted to ensure it met quality standards. The reason you're here, the food. It's great. It's authentic, the portions are huge, and the spice is made-to-order from 1-5. Between the two of us we ordered a plate of Pad Thai and prawns with veggies in a spicy sauce. The. flavor was good but the prawns were overcooked. The Pad Thai was overly sweet and underseasoned.
