Tonight was the first time in years I've been here and I would most definitely go back! The food is delicious & there is plenty of it! The prices are rather high, nothing under $12 for a meal. Now as far as customer service goes there were 2 girls behind the counter tonight. One up beat really nice girl that was so happy. The other girl not so much. Henry's fried dumplings are da bomb. Even if you're not into the dumplings themselves, order up some dumpling sauce and make it rain on your rice. It will provide the kickin flav you crave. Overall, the fare in general is quality. Expect fresh ingredients and solid portions. On the downside (reason for only 3 stars).. -The girls working the front desk are less than professional. They have been known to screw up orders, so check the bag before you go. -Prices have gone way up in recent years. -Delivery is slow and unreliable. So don't be a sucka, pick it up! read more

I called tonight to order take out. TAKE OUT! How hard is it to have someone take orders via the phone? I got through 5 times. That's right, five times I got through and before you can say a word they say please hold and set the phone down. You can hear what else is going on, like the young girl telling another customer that I was upset for being put on hold 4 times (I was able to say a couple of words on the last attempt). Then after about 5 minutes of waiting (I found it interesting to see how long it took for them to realize an order was waiting to be taken from the phone sitting on the counter) each time they picked up the phone and hung it up. Don't waste your time. There are better places in the area and the food here isn't much better than the service. read more

How rude of this owner. We have ordered from them for 5 years that we have lived in Brick. The food is always good, which is why we continue to order from them. Tonight our order took an hour and 10 minutes, as i was calling to check on it my door bell rang. You would think over an hour food would be good. Our dumplings were cold and rangoons were over cooked and cold. I called to complain they told me the owner would bring out a new order. He did...and when he did, he came with a major attitude. he told me, "of course the food was cold, i ordered 2 hours ago...." told me the dark brown, cold crab rangoons were not over cooked and then QUESTIONED THE $9.50 TIP I GAVE HIS DRIVER AND TOLD ME IT WAS 6.50!!! Are you kidding me?!? I manage a restaurant and would never ever treat a customer the way i was treated tonight. Do not threaten my honesty...i am in the same business as you. I would never lie. An apology would be nice. Otherwise i will continue to show people how you treat loyal customers. Disgusted. read more

The best Chinese food period. I have eaten at so many places and I always compare them to this place. I have had one other come close but nothing is as good as this. They give you so much food and the prices are very fair. Wish I didn't live so far from this place. A+++ read more

Anyone giving this restaurant more than 3 stars has no idea what good Chinese food is. For Ocean County it's ok not great, adequate only.

The is good, but never order delivery. So far 5 out of 6 times they forgot part of the order. When we call back. We are told come in and pick it up. If I wanted to pick up I wouldn't call for delivery. The staff is very nice when you first order, but when they are told on call back about forgotten parts. They become rude and nasty. We tossed out all menus tonight. If I have to only get part of my order I rather not order. Waste of time this place. read more

Best Chinese in brick that delivers. Guys that work there are nice, you can tell they work hard. I like the fact that there is a wide opening to the back so you can watch the guys cooking and see the kitchen, which is clean. Not the best place to dine in as the front area is small and only a few small tables. I dont think they have air conditioning either for the summer time as Ive walked in and it was pretty hot in there. Best general tso's, and the pork fried rice is just right. Word of mouth is a VERY powerful thing. Friends of mine received HORRIBLE customer service from this place. Calling your customers derogatory names is NOT how you run a business. Not to mention how extremely long it took for them to have their food delivered and it show up cold and over cooked! I called a rode in I was told 10 minutes to pick up I went 15 minutes and waited another 15 minutes for my order. After many years of using another local Chinese restaurant and watching AND tasting the quality of their product take a nosedive, we gave China Express a shot. Food was fresh, meats were trimmed, sauces delectable, and presentation was good as far as delivery goes. Delivered earlier than quoted, and price was comparable. We have been ordering food from this place for years. We always liked their food, but sadly something has gone a miss......The fried noodles have been stale and greasy, the egg rolls very greasy, they forgot to put won-tons in their house soup and the fortune cookies are usually stale.
