I don't understand the great reviews on here, I went there for the 1st and last time today and it was by far the worse Chinese food I've ever had. There was no flavor very bland. The rice was sticky and even soy sauce couldn't make it taste good. The szechuan chicken the chicken was thin processed pieces, no spice, it was slimy and tasteless. I always save my Chinese leftovers but this went right in the trash. My stomach is still turning and cramping from this food. read more

Best take out in the Derry area. Crab Rangoon is great. Dumplings are fantastic. Food is prepared fresh. No complaints!

Finally a decent place in Derry for Chinese food. Food was light (not drenched in oil), shrimp was excellently cooked, lots of fresh veggies, steamed dumplings were HUGE. Up until now, the only choice was Chen's which is usually mediocre, so I am thrilled to have a good source of c-food. Place is also extremely clean, people are friendly, service really quick. I didn't give it five stars only because I've had truly excellent Chinese food elsewhere, but for Derry this is a great place to go. read more

I don't write reviews on just one single bad experience but this would be my second and the exact same thing happened ! I ordered vegetable and bean curd but because I don't like the rice I asked for no rice but maybe a few extra veggies .. she didn't answer .. screamed in the background and then was like yup we can't do that unless u pay for the veggies .. her tone was bitter. I asked why I couldn't substitute and she cut me off " just doing what I'm told - it's $2.00" ok I'm all set I'll just take the no rice . Was told An hour for delivery which surprised me because I live a mile away , but I understood - it's Friday . Over an hour later I get my food and it's pork ... this is the second time I've had a rude associate and the wrong order delivered! The only thing they offered me was to re deliver it and it would also be an hour !!!!! You lost my business .. not because of a mistake but because you do not value your guests and clearly do not know the meaning of hospitality. This is a fairly unasuming little establishment, so I was not sure what to expect. It in a convenient location with easy access off a main road. I had heard of it from co-workers at the hospital that I work at who seem to like it and keep ordering it, which is usually a good sign. The food is good and the service friendly. The place looks clean and you can see much of the food preparation area from the counter. For the same reason this is not a dine-in kind of place.The food is ready when they say it will be. What I like about it the most is that they have no reservations customizing their ingredients and dishes to my liking. For example, if I want sezchuan sauce with a meal that typically comes with mandarin sauce, they do it. My Daughter recommended I go here and when I did I was not disappointed. Food was very good and prices where average. They compete well with the only other Chinese Restaurant i'll go to and that's Chens. My only complaint would be their beef Teriyaki. They are good but very skimpy. For the price I would expect something more not a piece of beef paper on a stick. On the other hand their crab rangoon was the best I've had. Ordered 7 different things for a birthday party. Crab Rangoon:excellent. Crunchy outside, smooth, tasty filling. Veggie Lo Mein: very good. Round noodles, tender and very flavorful. A little slim on the veggies. Two people said it was the best they ever had. Seseme Chicken:good. Every Chinese restaurant ever makes this with 90% batter and a tiny sliver of chicken. That said, the batter was tender, not too greasy and super tasty sauce. Veggie Delight:good. Steamed veggies in a clear chow mein kind of sauce. Big chunks of veggie, a lot of it broccoli a little under cooked, sauce was very good. Beef Teriyaki:good. A little tough and thin but, again, tasted very good. Veggie Fried Rice: OK. A little bland and not a lot of vegetables. Scallion Pancake: Not so good. Greasy, flavorless, took two bites and threw it out. Total for everything (8 things total,2 lo mein) was $52. read more

From the outside this is an unassuming place. On the inside it certainly is not a location to dine-in, but there is adequate seating while waiting for your food. The service is quite friendly. The food is of good quality and made to order. If you want to change the sauce or ingredients in a certain dish then they will do it and they get it done right. The location is convenient and accessible from a Wal-Mart parking lot and a nearby major intersection with a traffic light. The prices are reasonable. read more

I ordered from here and was very disappointed. The food is chinese, but that doesn't mean it needs to be poor quality. It was a waste of money, I ended up throwing more than 1/2 of it because it was so gross. And the dining room is TINY, so don't plan to eat in if you have a large family. I go here all the time and every time I go they have great food and great service. (even though i get take out) I usually get the General Tso's Chicken with an egg roll, pork fried rice, and teriyaki steak. The portions are pretty big compared to other places, they are always quick (not to mention relatively cheap) and it always comes out great! read more

While the food is not bad, the service is TERRIBLE! First experience, NYE 12/31/2015. We called at 11am to put in an order for 5pm. Asked if it would at all be a problem. Arrived at 5pm. Order was not ready until 6:10pm. There were easily 50 other people waiting for food that they ordered for 5pm. Absolute chaos. Considering this was one of the busiest days of the year, we cut them some slack and ordered again tonight 1/23/2016. We placed the order at 5:25pm and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there at 6pm and the food was not even ready. Waited until 6:15 until food was ready. More chaos. Got the food home and the order was wrong. WORST SERVICE IN GREATER DERRY! Best chinese I've had in Derry. Very fresh and inexpensive. The hot and sour soup wasn't quite as spicy as I normally like it but the flavor was great. A combo platter and a couple small sides was more than enough for two of us. Will definitely make this my go to chinese place when visiting Derry. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! We have given this place too many opportunities to earn our business. We place an order, they give us a time frame, and it goes over every time. We call to check on the order, they cannot tell us where it is. This particular time, I demanded to speak with a manager. I was told there wasn't one there. I asked who was running the place. I did not get an answer. I was told someone would call me. 10 minutes later, the "manager" called me. I explained how terrible their service has been to their customers. She apologized and said they were busy. I explained that I understood that, but that we called and placed the first order when they opened. She said they only have ONE driver staffed. I told her that if that was the case, then they need to tell their customers a longer time frame or just not offer delivery if they cannot employ another driver. I asked for a refund. She said she would not do that. I asked again if she knew where our food was. She did not. NEVER order delivery. Always pick up. I will not be giving them any of our business anymore. Since I moved to Derry 3 years ago I've been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant. Don't like admitting it but I am a very picky eater. I like to think all smart people think twice before throwing anything down their gullet. I've tried 2 other places in Derry. Even after trying them a couple of times to make sure the food wasn't a fluke I always woundup asking my girlfriend to get my Chinese in Salem NH on her way home from work. When this placed opened up I tried it and it passed with flying colors. I've since been back dozens of times and am NEVER disappointed. It's hard to find consistency with Chinese Restaurants. Some nights you just get the bottom of the barrel. Not this place. Food is ALWAYS fresh and well cooked. I even went there 5 minutes after closing one night and the sweet Asian lady opened the door and invited me in to order. As another reviewer said this spot has seen a lot of businesses and I'm just doing my part to help them stay. I don't miss driving to Salem every time I had a hankerin' for Chinese. Please try them out. If enough people try them I don't think they'll go anywhere else. Especially that rude place on the corner. read more
