I've always wanted to try this place, so figured since I was out and about shopping small business Saturday, I'd it. 2 stars for the girl working behind the counter, she was friendly and helpful. 0 stars for the food itself. Rice is extremely dry, and not really sure what the flavoring is on the chicken, but it's not a flavor I've ever tasted when eating General Tso's. It taste like ot had BBQ or something on it prior and they've re-purposed. NASTY!

My fave Chinese spot in the Triad always has a long wait and sometime you just don't want to wait too long. If you know, you know. China Garden however is in my backyard and has pretty good reviews so I made my way today. Indecisive as usual, I eventually made my selection. The cashier didn't offer much assistance, but was patient so that's was good. I ordered fried shrimp and house fried rice, general tsos combo (egg roll and pork fried rice), hot and sour soup and shrimp egg roll. She also gave me plenty of sauce packets, which is an unusual yet appreciated occurrence. We enjoyed everything, but the fried shrimp. Definitely will drop in again.

China Garden is one of our all-time favorites. Our dinners are always hot and delicious with enough leftovers for lunch later!

So happy to have a good Chinese restaurant in Jamestown again. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty.

We've had amazing Chinese food in San Francisco Chinatown when we lived there during our post…read moregraduate studies, and have to say this place measures up! Best we've had yet in the Triad area by a long shot. First off, the online ordering process is super easy, and the estimated time for pick up was spot on. Highly recommend ordering online beforehand. The place was slammed, packed in like sardines on a Saturday evening. Everyone waiting for orders, and even if you don't order prior, the wait would still be worth it. This place was a well oiled machine, everyone knowing exactly what to do and how to pump out stellar authentic Chinese food quickly and efficiently. Flavorful dishes, authentic spices and sauces, juicy meat, perfectly cooked noodles and rice...you name it, this place does it right. Crispy scallion chicken is the bomb! Each and every other dish we had was top notch, including the pork egg foo young, chicken lo mein, house special fried rice (chicken pork and shrimp). And can't leave out the perfectly fried pork egg rolls...taste overload. Can't wait to come back and try more of this amazing and truly authentic Chinese joint.

Not even a foot of snow can stop me from getting to this place. When I tell you there's 30 people…read morewaiting inside for food, both phones ringing, and regardless of the weather... That kitchen is packed with people cooking up the absolute best Chinese food and takeout in the Triad. It doesn't get better than this folks. This is currently, and always has been, the best spot to get your fix. Even my family members from NY who have access to amazing Chinese takeout on every corner agree. Everything is delicious, but make sure you get enough of their scratch made pork egg rolls to have one with you meal, and one for the air fryer to go with your leftovers. They are addicting. Try the crispy scallion chicken, along with your favorites. Golden Wok forever!

They may very well have some good food here, but I don't know, and probably never will. I tried to…read moreeat here today, take out. But while I was tryiing to place my order, the lady at the counter stop taking my orderTHREE TIMES - twice to take a call in order (while I waited), and once to take payment from a customer (while I waited some more) On the third one, I left. Don't think I'll try that again.

I now live in Seattle, but I'm from high point, and I remember this place when it opened, and it's…read morereally great. Keep in mind, this is the standard americanized chinese food, it's cheap, fresh and the chicken wings are AMAZING. They give you 4 full chicken wings, fried to perfection, huge, juicy TASTY wings, in my opinion, they best I've had anywhere that's had chicken wings. So many people will be waiting for their order of... wait for it, like 5 orders of chicken wings. Like I said, living in Seattle, believe it or not I can't find chinese food this good there, the portions are nice, the prices are right, and although they continue to raise the price is the chicken wings (they used to be 2 bux, now they're almost 4, and nothing else has been raised so dramatically) I'mstill pretty much counting the hours til I can go there today, having just gotten into town for the holidays. My favs: Curry chicken, Beef & broccoli, CHICKEN WINGS!!! my mother would cut someone for messing with her beef egg fu young.... I used to order this amazing spicy lunch dish with shrimp and chicken... the ONE flaw I think is that their fried rice is too dark, and a bit too greasy, I like fluffy yellow rice and theirs is darker, but considering I don't eat that much fried rice, I'm gonna let it go... And now, I continue to wait for the Wings...
